Afam4eva: Welcome to Nigeria then. It will take us some time to get there. People who can do those things for us also live in America. |

@ afam, Sam, you can see the argument in 'arguably' I mentioned earlier Now to the real gist, the way the last census was conducted left a whole lot of doubt on the entire process and made me doubt the total figures. I know many families that were never counted in the census. Again I say, let us not use the kast census to allocate figures of the population of any part of Nigeria. |

spyder880: @ afam, Sam, you can see the argument in 'arguably' I mentioned earlier You are right, but there is always a room to ammend errors. If Feds say that Enugu state is 4 million.. Then it is safe for me to say that Enugu is 4.5 million or 3.8 million or even 5 million. There is no room for accuracy but they have done some good job by providing us with a figure to work with. |

Sam Milla:You follow the Nigerian census figure at your own peril. The census figures is fraud. I think they just arrogate numbers to states the way they deem fit. |

Sam Milla: I think it is an insult to say Nigerians cannot count themselves. In my village, our barely educated community leaders can count. The problem of Nigeria is that those who cheat using bloated population figure to cheat other regions. Those people have used military rule period to give themselves more States and LGA making it impossible for anyone in the south to counter whatever they endorse as Nigeria's population. We know the population figures allocated to southeast and many southern states is grossly under counted to make it appear there more people living in the arid north than the south. Imagine that Kano and Jigawa of the former Kano state have a combined population of 17 million people, while Lagos is just 9 million. So former Kano state which was less populated than Lagos suddenly doubled the population of Lagos in 10 years? Google satellite imagery have since proved the allocated northern population is simply bogus because there is no suggestion whatsoever of human foot print or houses where these phantom millions live. You can see that no sane person should ever take data from Nigeria seriously. 1 Like |

Nice pics....those people all look healthy and like they are enjoying life in their city. They don't look stressed at all. I must say though, they need to make the place look neater, especially some of the building frontages. They are bringing the tome down of the place. Other than that, nice. |

Afam4eva: That beach runs through my village. We call it "Nya".It's called Nyaba River. It joined Atavo River which runs through some communities in Nkanu, extending into Abia State . There is another one called Aruga by Akwunanaw clans. |

passion007: OK, that's from where Nyaba bridge takes its name... Nightshift how come you know so much about places in Igboland. That's impressive.I grew up in Enyimba City(Aba), had all my education in Enugu and i have been to many parts of Igboland. My relatives had a flourishing business(they still have)at Aba, Onitsha, Enugu and Abakaliki. All the exposure in these cities made it easy for me to have a very good knowledge of the dynamics of different parts of Igboland. I am passionate about Igboland, and equally feel at home discussing events and geography of any of our 5 states. 1 Like |

I never thought this road will be done in my lifetime. But whatever touched them to reach this point should please urge them to get to my village at Nomeh Unateze, a mere 2 kilometers away, somebody should please help me tell Sullivan.
