@Jumayin, have ever been this late? I have taken b complex before and it delayed my period for I think just two days. Yuu may retest after four days and no flow.

Some people don't test positive on time . could take a week after a missed period. FX for you.

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Nobody: 6:24pm On Oct 07, 2014
@wfirsglady, see a gynae so they can place you on Clomid or any other drug to help you to ovulate,polycystic means you have multiple cystic follicles that sometimes does not grow to maturation which is ovulation and sometimes when they even grow they might not be able to rupture on their own, ovaboost is recommended for pcos, meanwhile see a doctor for more explanation, women conceive easily with pcos if your doctor knows what do, try and go to The hospital I referred you to in woji. The doctor knows how to stimulate women to produce multiple eggs for ivf when he was in save a life so he can use thesame procedure for you.
@helen4, go for tranvaginal scan for better result cos a problem known is a problem half solved,
@olubankami, I asked my doctor if I cud try iui and he said iui is for ppl with sperm count wahala and that one is far cheaper than ivf maybe you can consider but God will surprise you before the year runs out just keep doin what you have been doing.
@udoka, I had a 29-30 days cycle all through my life till 2012 wen I started experiencing fluctuations and I use to think I was pregnant until my doctor diagnosed pcos and never told me what it was but keeps giving me Clomid which I end up not taking until I had to find out more abt pcos, my period comes exactly 14days after ovulation but with pcos if you don't ovulate it will take the grace of God for your period to show, last month I took vitex and reproaid which contains vitex as well since vitex takes up to 3months to work and I ovulated at exactly 14days hence my recommendation

Withdraw the Bco and continue with folic acid. I once had that delay with Bco. Though can't be sure as I wasn't regular on it. It later came on the 7th day. If after 2wks, its still bfn, pls go for TVS to confirm. But since my own case, I noticed I no longer ovulate as before. Guess I skip some months now but my doc is still following up. So another thing to consider is when U ovulated for that month. FX for u.

@Jumayin, really don't think bco can delay that long. Pls take it gently and retest in few days. I rejoice wit u.

Singing my youth song now:

My miracle is on the way
My miracle is in the way.

God said it
And I believe it
And he can do it for me

God said it
And I believe it
And that settles it.

Retest if after 1week of withdrawing the b-complex, AF does not show. Some people don't get a positive blood/urine pt until later later.
Sprinkling baby dust to you.

@Wsfirstlafy, used it with folic acid.

The prescription drug metformin by your friend is a good one for pcos too. Also I have read some reviews on the Fertilaid for pcos as well.

Good luck to you .

@wfirstlady, metformin is to help suppress your insulin resistance, so you need to help yourself and cut off sugar and carbonhydrate intake cos high sugar level use to cause infertility as it hinders ovulation, if you are on the big side you need to watch your weight. ovaboost is very good for pcos and it can be taken with Clomid.

@olubankemi, let ur dh use reproaid for men, it boost counts and motility, you can use the women's own as well....its better wen taken 3 at once in the night,
secondly you need to check his favorite meal, maybe there is something in it that is making his count go down cos i guess he doesnt drink alcohol or smoke due to ttc, you can as well serve him a lot of vegetable salad, let it be mixture of lettuce, cucumber, fresh tomato,onions, blended garlic, and then use olive oil on it instead of salad cream. you will see a change in no time...

@lordhvmercy

Below is what l found online...so nothing to worry.

"High progesterone levels don't preclude normal reproductive function, but they can exacerbate some of the side effects of the menstrual cycle. Many women experience headaches, moodiness, breast tenderness and fatigue as they approach their period. It is during this time that progesterone levels are highest. Women who have particularly high progesterone levels tend to have more severe pre-menstrual symptoms than those with naturally lower levels"

Wsfirstlady:
Hello house, I jst did a Transvaginal scan and here is my result;
UTERUS; Normal sized, non-gravid uterus is noted in anteverted position. No intra utererine mass/fibroid. The endometrial plate is thin and regular. Nil cyesis. Cervix is closed

MYOMETRIUM; The myometrium appears smooth and homogenous in echo pattern and texture.

ADNEXAE; both ovaries are normal in sizes, they both harbour tiny multiple discrete cystic lesions in their periphery.

POD; no fluid collection noted. The urinary bladder is normal in wall outline and shape with clear uterine contents

IMPRESSION; polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Hormonal assay me be advised

Pls what do I do now? I'm so shaky and confused. Pls help me shed some light on dis POCS thingy. Thanks as I await ur response and encouragement.

decent result,no infection as zero fluid in pod, just the pcos......but the report states that ur cervix is closed!!!........only the cervix of a pregnant woman shud be closed.......to prevent sperm from entering the womb, so in ur case, the doc needs to find out why the cervix is closed
