Lord have mercy your tsh is high, are you on thyroxine? It should be less than 2. Even fsh and lh are high too. Next time include estradiol in the test.

Thanks @beetle, am not on metformin and don't suffer blood clothing disorder, I just want to know if 5mg folic acid is an ok dose to use, plus I notice usually feel dizzy nd tired a lot of which was attributed to low blood or being anemic, so some1 sudgested astymin, hope that's fine

@dasha 01, the last time I did an HSG was in July. Meanwhile, my doc asked me to do a hormone profile before he can place me on anything.... have u heard or done a digital hormone profile that results comes out in 24hrs before?

@wfirstlady, i have not o! hormone profile is usually a comparison, you do one on CD3 and the next CD21 to check if your hormones corresponds with what they are expected to be....digital? which hospital?

Why i asked the last time you did HSG is becos of the closed cervix, if it remains closed that means after bd everything will just pour out cos of no entrance, you need to do somthing about it sha before you commence treatment

Frm my lil findings via google, it seems it's when one isn't menstruation or is pregnant thats when the cervix wud be closed..... i'll bring it up in my next appointment with him. thank you dearie.

Since then my cycle has been wacky (dark and scanty spotting) what hv I gotten myslf into sef

@wfirstlady, it might and might not be the hsg cos last month was my first time of doing Hsg and my cervix has been closed for a long time without my knowing, if you did hsg in July how come your cervix closed that soon? you might need to go back to where you did the hsg and show them your result and demand for a check up, it might be free or cost you less.

Hello house, I jst did a Transvaginal scan and here is my result;
UTERUS; Normal sized, non-gravid uterus is noted in anteverted position. No intra utererine mass/fibroid. The endometrial plate is thin and regular. Nil cyesis. Cervix is closed

MYOMETRIUM; The myometrium appears smooth and homogenous in echo pattern and texture.

ADNEXAE; both ovaries are normal in sizes, they both harbour tiny multiple discrete cystic lesions in their periphery.

POD; no fluid collection noted. The urinary bladder is normal in wall outline and shape with clear uterine contents

IMPRESSION; polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Hello dear, d POCS stuff is not sometin 2 make u worked up. Thereis remedy 4 it. Try check previous post on success stories wit this condtion. As 4d Closed cervix, I tink u shud do a blood preg test cos u have 2b pregnant 4 dis 2 happen. Don't mind Af cos some still see AF while preggy. Consult ur Gynea asap. U could be pregnant.

The first time I tried to do hsg I was embarrassed cos my cervix was closed, they asked me if I have ever conceived or if I took one drug which I can't remember d name again to prevent conception, one woman had me convinced I was pregnant Frm September 2013 till january and the closed cervix almost convinced me too, even on no some said it's possible am pregnant.. they opened it for me in July I guess, and i tried hsg again in August and my cervix was closed they tried forcing in a catheter but it couldn't get in, they inserted one tablet to help dilate me and after 2hrs it dint work and I got home around 11pm that night though I called dh to tell him I wud be home late , eventually in September, I was able to have a successful hsg after several hours of struggle and what did they find? Hydrosalpinx! If I kept believing that a closed cervix means pregnancy when I know I ain't pregnant I would have been living in self denial for a long time....somethings cannot be found on google

@mamas greetings. @Didiva M2-Tone is used to regulate cycle. It helps to make the cycle days constant and can reduce d length for long ones. I don't know whether to use with vitex. When my doc placed me on it, it was either alone or with folic acid. Though it worsened my PMS. And I get swollen tender breas.t once after ovulation till d next cycle starts. I remember when Dasha01 complained of the closed cer.vix and I was among those that believed she could be pregi but with time and nothing changed, she said her doc recommended opening it and was around during HSG in case she'll need to be dilated. @Wsfirstlady pls see ur gyno. Lets hope for d best.

@Didiva, if it wasn't closed, how come they tried doing the hsg on 3 different occasions at a point they use a very tiny whatever to make small passage cos I was ovulating, why will they use a drug meant for women in labor to try and dilate me which didn't work, I guess you also know that some pregnant women bleed? I don't know if the mystery is nothing can go in but any fluid can come out,
People's experiences are different and not to be criticised or questioned, @wfirstlady might not have exactly same experience as me, but am a proof that not all closed cervix is as a result of pregnancy.

Good morning fruitful Mamas in d house. I ve had a closed cervix before and it was surgical opened last year. Though mine according to d Doc. Was as a result of D/C I had in 2007. That it wasn't properly done.

Pls our sabi Mamas, I notice that I always feel cold around my ankle (cold ankle) especially after OV dt I wear stockings atimes even in hot/warm environment and I ve told my doc abt it and he said its nothing. I googled it this morning and it says it could be deficiency in vit. B complex or Type 2 diabets. Abeg Mamas do I just go and uy vit b complex or what?
