Anyway, enough tutoring for now - back to the topic. I hope you understand everything involved in British citizenship now?

Also, can you see how women are their own worst enemies? The nan vs. her son's baby mum - classic example of how women are their own worst enemies.

Can a father steal his own child

coogar:

so you are saying any child can be stolen from her mother in the UK cos that child is not yet a citizen? grin cheesy you need to go out more....even if mother & child are illegal citizens, a crime was committed by granny. illegal immigrants have rights too & the law must protect them.

as for nigerian courts, i laugh in portugese. nigeria is the easiest place to get the baby. just motivate few mobile police unit & the child would be produced. do you know the number of criminals that foreign authorities have caught in nigeria with little or no effort?

the poverty in that country means that nothing is impossible. that child would be brought back without the case going to any court. for the nigerian police, it's all about money & met police would have plenty of cash to throw around to impress their superiors here.

Someones comment on this thread seem like that of a person who truly knows this family, or is it the Izu guy himself...

Now this is my take, if grandma truly loves this lady she would not have kidnapped the child. For thefact that she stayed with this lady and made up such evil plan under her nose makes her an evil old woman capable of destroying other people's life just to protect her uncultured and un-trained son. A big shame on their entire family for planning such evil plot. This lady should pls post the details of the family including names and address etc. and right thinking people who truly understands the meaning of motherhood especially those who know the pain of being a single mum will help her out.
She must never for the life of hers agree to relocate to join this family in PH cos they are capable of killing her and are not even worth the sacrifice.
Pls report to interpole and the nigerian embassy and post their full details on every social media and God will help you.
It is well.

Thank God you said in britain, for now, that child is in Nigeria so is the father, and contrary to what you dream of,Nigerian government officials would not assist the british in anyway on this matter, first the british have to prove that the child in question is there citizen, once they cannot establish that then no assistance, second the mother of the child isn't a british citizen either,so you do the maths

Atleast respect the person who gave life to the diamond grandma is carrying,a woman's child will remain her child,it came from her private part not grandma's private part.
donedy:

So, this is your level of reasoning. The granny has other important stuff to do that to exchange words with a foolish girl online. This is not even a case, since authorities are aware of what happened. It just another low-life loosing a custody and jump online to blab because no baby no welfare.

Only on NL will you hear that husbands cannot rape their wives and parents cannot kidnap their children. Staying legally in the UK has so many categories. And I'm sure you saw where the link you referenced clearly stated, "Indefinite leave to remain" a la permanent resident. She might be a student, or just on any type of visa, who knows? Read carefully next time.

BTW, how come most of you feminists in this section can't even engage people cerebrally, without emotional impulses that always make you lot look unimpressive? You have a "soulglo" who couldn't debate a topic, and had to switch to ad hominem, questioning my manhood, and telling me I'm between age 16-22 - what insolence. A "BananaBender," my e-friend for life who has been going through some crisis of late. A "carefreewannabe" who dwells in idealism and asking redundant questions. And now you? - I'm not impressed. Step ya game up! undecided

And it's part of the topic: a crime committed by a woman against another woman. And the kid is also a girl.

The grandma's actions are by whatever standards (moral and legal), unjustifiable.

But... you know what? Something tells me we need to hear 'the other side of the story'- the boyfriend's family's version.

Tust me, things are never as simple as she's making it look.
