Pls do you know if it is the same for all oil companies? I just weak, just wondering why I am going through the extra stress of M.Engr sad
After all I've said, you still think you are wasting your time doing a Masters programme? As for whether it's same with all Oil & Gas companies, the answer is NO! I once heard there are some that won't hire you if you do not have an Msc in Engineering

Pls calm down sir. "I once heard". I heard that too. But I have read through the pages of this thread and no one refuted that claim. All na rumor. I'm just digging for something more tangible. Thanks all the same.

kindly quote the former post and give the correct monthly values( it's easier for peeps to relate to monthly pay). Thanks

Ok.

Monthly pay of PHCN is 79k after all deductions, that's of INEC is about 77k. However, PHCN pay their staff bulk rent which is about 330k per annum for entry level staff and also pay leave allowance of about 80k annually along with the 13th month allowance.

There is no company with the name PHCN. Its been taken over by different investors who then go ahead to pay them according to their own structure.

Wow!!! Everybody here seems to want it big from the begining, some are still in school hoping to get it big and fat when they are out, some probably just finish NYSC, and the hope of getting fat salary is very high, for some reasons ranging from having a good grade and a good course, I wish its just like that in real Nigerian Economic situation. Some have gone further to obtain their Msc and Phd with a high hope of hitting it big thereafter, I wish its like that in real situation in Nigeria. How many of all these purported fat-salary companies hire frequently and what number per hire, with the proportion of millons of brillant graduates causing trafic congestion in the labour market in Nigeria?
Someone on this thread sourght to know the Skye bank pay package for DSA, and Olutayo responded to that question with contempt, just because its DSA , but he failed to realise that that Jehovah Jireh can use that DSA job to connect him into getting that fat-salary paying job, which ordinarily would not have been.possible.
All of us must not start big, starting big does not guarantee ending big and vice versa.
Some people have gone back to start looking for the job they once rejected after many years of unsuccessful search for the fat-salary paying jobs.

Like I said earlier, you will be allowed to go through the hiring process provided a masters degree is not one of the eligibility criteria. NB: If an applicant with masters degree has the same performance(during the hiring process) with another applicant who doesn't have an MSc, the one without an MSc will be at disadvantage if someone is to dropped
abeg how much does DPR or PPPRA pay?

That's true. My sister has given herself 5 years to leave the bank. She wants to go into fashion designing or something of that nature.

Thanks a lot. I studied Agric. Economics, I don't have post NYSC experience as I'll just be finishing NYSC in 5 days time. Nevertheless, I worked in a radio station during my undergraduate programme. I was an OAP and I did some marketing too. I hope I answered your questions? Once again, I'm grateful.

Which career are you interested in?
