I read myomectomy is surgical removal of fibroid. won't it be top early? I think I will prefer the antagonist drugs. I don't want to undergo surgery. I'm at work now, when I get home I will put up what the result reads.can you direct me to a gynaecologist here in Lagos? and pls I want to know the food and drinks I'm supposed to stay away from. and what to do to manage it. thank u

It is the doctor's discretion if a myomectomy should be done or not,it is also your own choice to make as well.MYOMECTOMY is adviceable for unusual growth of heavy masses, this is to put to stop symptoms like ill-frequent urination, lower abdominal/pelvic pains, menstrual flow abnormalities and unsizeable menstrual cramp. These complaints are normal with bigger masses(may be yours to compare). The removal of the growth may also be advised if the doctor lament of a view that the growth may grow bigger within some time frames. But for small growth with no complication attach, the removal may not be necessary and watching is paramount.

I can't tell of a specific diet to be least wary of,but it is only to us known that obesity and increase weight gaining is a riskfactor to having the uterine fibroid.Do have a proper balance diet, eat well and think well.

While you may opt for any relevance, you should know that the chance of recurrence of the growth is less with a good myomectomy than any form of alternative medicine. This may give you scope on how to decide.

Some medics cld be so funny atimes. When has marriage become the solution to fibroids?! Instead of telling you the location of the fibroids, he was advising out of line.

Here's the fact. Fibroid is found in the uterus of most ladies. The size and the location simply determine how serious it is. Some ladies have inconspicuous sized fibroids(multiple and tiny), while others have conspicuous sized fibroids( which could be multiple and large).

Your fibroids are large, but not too large. Some fibroids could grow as large as 90mm. For a 40mm fibroids, well the gynae could review and indicate myomectomy if it's imperative, or could place you on estrogen/progesterone antagonists, since the growth of fibroids is hormone dependent(estrogen/progesterone).

The Vaginal Swab she did, I wonder why she would diagnose you with Candida albican, when every lady likely has yeast in her genital. The growth rate determines its pathogenic tendency. Was the resulted stated as mild, moderate, or heavy growth?

Your short term memory loss is lack of concentration. Your lack of concentration is likely due to something or many wary things on your mind, or you seem deprived of certain elements/vitamins that aid memory acuteness.

You can boost your memory retentive power by supplementing your diets with Tocopherol, ascorbic acid, folate, B complex, B12, B6, and Iodine.

hello doctors in the house. What could make a man not have feeling in his penis during intercourse? If he has good erection, why would it he that the only time he "feels" something is during ejaculation?

Conception for some is easy to achieve, and in others, it takes quite a while to achieve. It's like a blindfold game in which different couples who were blindfolded were asked to throw balls(sperm) from a distance into the basket(eggs). At 1st attempt, some couples might be lucky enough to dunk their 1st throw of the ball into the baskets(fertilization/implantation), while others might not be so lucky. At 2nd attempt, some of those who didn't dunk in their 1st attempt might now be lucky to dunk in their 2nd throw, while others who didn't make the 1st attempt, might still not make the 2nd attempt. But with persistency and continuous trying, they will eventually dunk the ball.

Couples examined to be ok might still find it difficult to achieve conception within their expected period. There are non-pathological and non-physiological factors that might delay conception

The direction at which sperm cells swim also determines the chances of conception. Some men could have over active sperm cells that dart about and swim randomly, instead of swimming forwardly.

Also, some women may not know the primary function of EWCM. Sperm requires a medium to swim in, in order to reach the egg. Ladies who do not discharge enough EWCM may find it difficult in conceiving since the mucus aids the sperm to swim easily in reaching the egg, and also protect the sperm from vag*nal wall acidity.

If I got you well enough, you meant the man doesn't feel any pleasure while thrusting, untill he climaxes(ejac)?

Well, all men thrust in order to org*sm, because that's when they feel the pleasure the most. But many still enjoy the sensuality from thrusting.

So I think the man is rather to hasty to attain org*sm, instead of being adventurous.

Maybe you didn't dab the area enough with warm saline.

Well, you should dab that spot with warm salt water(just a pinch) regularly, and apply sheabutter* after dabbing. Take fruits rich in vitamin C, as it helps the body heal quickly.

A lady with a 30days cycle will ovulate 14days to her next menstruation. It means her ovulation will be on cd17(17th of her cycle). But her fertile period will span from 15th(cd15), 16th(cd16), 17th(cd17 Ovulation), 18th(cd18), and perhaps, to 19th(cd19). Any of those days will result to fertilization, and implantation, if all conditions are met!

Sex hasn't been link to causing miscarriage in the 1st trimester. But may not be advice by your obstetrician if you have an history of miscarriage a sexual affair in the early trimester or any of the trimesters.

There is just a tiny point between a normal menstrual symptom and early pregnancy symptoms.It all depends on the individual.Some by-the-way characteristics of early pregnancy that may or may not be much close to menstrual symptom are;

1)An experience of increase appetite or an inappetence.

2)General weakness of the body.

3)Increase urine output.

4)Lightness of the cervical discharge in a period when the discharge should show thickness.

5)Miss of a period.

N/B-these with the other common ones should either tell you are pregnant or about to see your flow.

Since you have a short cycle, can you change to a longer one?
I guess NO.
Women with short-cycle does ovulate just as women with long cycle. So,Women with long cycle are not better than those with short cycle. The truth to be told is that some cycle experience by both form of women may not really precede from OVULATION-often an ordinary uterine bleeding that came as flow. This is mainly Anovulation cycle.

When last did you screen the uterus and adnexa after the fibroid removal?

Do you always observe your flow?

Have you done an hormone profiling of your reproductive hormones?

How many times have you done a fibroid removal?

Has your man done a seminalysis to find out if any link to your not having pregnancy could be from him?

Do you normally observe Ovulation from your own study on yourself? If so,what are the symptoms you do have?

Do you think there is another thing about you we should know to help you better?

Normally, after fibroid removal, there's a disturbance in that lady's menstruation. It may take some couple of months for menstruation to re-adjust and regularise, or may take quite a longer time. If you didn't observe the EWCM discharge, then your were anovulatory. There was an improvement as time went by, which prompted ovulation in those months you observed your EWCM.

Run the hormonal assay, and let me know its outcome.

Normally, it shouldn't cause spontaneous AB. But then, that doesn't mean the lady should submit to 'wild wild s*x'.

Your second question, I presume you meant how to distinguish Premenstrual symptoms from pregnancy symptoms. Well, premenstrual symptoms normally are observed some days before the scheduled menstruation. Bre*st tenderness, abdominal cramp, and nausea are experinced few days before the actual date of the subsequent menstruation. But for pregnancy symptoms, well, it also shares some symptoms with PMS, just that the symptoms tend to present significantly after the missed period(the date the subsequent menstruation was scheduled).
