Exactly! The ladies/girls making noise here are the ones from the land of the rising sun, where they drag everything with their men. No respect at all.

Well, happened to me once... She had been mean, playing hard to get, even as my gf eventually... she was feeling like she owned me. Twas my first relationship lol... with a female, so i was so in... It gt to points where i'd apologize if we got into an argument for what was obviously her misdoing. Eventually, I snapped out of the Mugu grin zone when she did something very mean undecided. Ignoring me in front of her friends and all... I just called off the drama... Next thing am on another chics case... though as a friend... for weeks and all we didnt see... when she wld eventually see me, twas with this other chic... she had never seen before... days later, she called for me tru a very close friend... wept her eyes out on her knees apologizing for all the shit she's done... she changed afterwards... we dated for 2 years grin but aint together any more wink

Really?!!

I can understand why you would say this seeing as you live in the U.S.. grin

It's cultural. I didn't even know some African cultures kneeled until now, though I have been familiar with Asian bowing. I may be from the US, but my parents are African and we don't bow or kneel at each other in our neck of the woods.

I'm sure they're both mental too. What causes one to kneel before another human being?

Are you saying you like to look stu.pid...

I don't like to look stupid since I wouldnt want my woman to kneel before me like I'm Kabeisi... But when she says over her dead body to kneel down (most ladies here are insinuating that), that's pride and I over hate it... Its just like a man saying over my dead body to pet his wife when she's crying... "Respect is to man what love is to a woman", a wise man here on NL once said

What an absurd and numbskull question? Are you saying it is moral for ladies to be rude whenever they are right or wrong.

Oko ni olowo ori aya, oko ni ade ori iyawo re. If either marry, to-be-married or just dating. It is morally good to respect your man and kneeling down is the least you can do to show it.

yes culturally, kneeling to apologize is symbolic to mean remorse but if u've met women that have perfected the art of deception, u will understand that even rolling on d floor to apologize for wrong doings isn't enough evidence that she has changed. My point is lets not make judgments about peoples attributes solely on cultural expectations. A lot of ladies have beautiful "take home to mama" characters but they won't do this because they weren't brought up that way; and alot of women are so respectful they can even call ur dog "uncle bingo" however she becomes d devil after u marry her.
whether u are brought up with that or not. if the situation warrant u to go on ur knees, pls do. it doesn't change ur person. especially if the offence is great. that will most likely calm him down. it is something every ladies should learn to do. it helps.

there are better things a woman can do in that position....why must she waste such a glorious position on apologising, when she can give a BEE in a Jar

No u dnt. Its obvious from your first quote. You are expecting everybody to be the same? No Mbanu. Its not possible my dear. If you keep judging ladies superficially based on who kneels and who doesnt, you will end up with a witch for a wife. Goes to show how some of u men are really gullible.

grin grin grin

I wouldn't judge every lady based on kneeling. I would judge based on their mindset, which is obvious by their comments. I wouldn't believe its sarcasm.

This love and feeling people claim to have for their partners is often fake. It starts with ego and pride. Although we have diversities in religion, race, tribe and culture. A white lady who loves a Nigerian man forces herself to learn his culture and vice versa.

All I'm saying is people don't really love as they claim - either they haven't found the right person or they're over-damaged.

When true love is in place, nothing stops a man from washing his wife's undies, doing dishes, cleaning the house, bathing the baby, dressing the kid etc. even while he provides for the home. Likewise, nothing stops the woman from respecting her man, leaving decisions to him (even if she'll contribute), submitting absolutely, kneeling down to serve him food etc...

WE ALL COUNT THESE THINGS AS BIG DEAL BECAUSE THE LOVE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH YET!
