Since I've been on NL, I have never seen an atheist arguing peaceably with a theist. Richard Dawkins told them to mock theists. Mocking someone afterall isn't unkind because kind is only relative to him.
I really think it's a waste of time arguing with atheists on NL.

God bless everyone. Atheists, God follow una join too. Like one atheist said, I'm one of those who bordered on the edge of atheism before I understood that atheism is also faith, at least in this century's level of technology and science.

Atheists,i love you all but God loves you more tongue grin
You are using conjectures to get your imagination or somebody else who cannot accept facts to prove your point to your message across though.

Nobody! It is more or less a dimension. Create?! Why did you use the term create if you weren't thinking along the line of a supernatural being(fairy)? You haven't understood that even water doesn't need a creator in my previous posts to become water but by a process of other particles combining to form it. If you want to go further, then you would now have to talk about quantum mechanics and string theories where things at the smallest imagination carried around itself a mini universe(in a lay man explanation) to understand the process.

Anybody?! Who is anybody that exist to create it than your poor imagination!

==> I didn't want to respond to that clay analogy but I think you need it because you cannot think beyond a being. Clay is made up of different particles that made up the clay structures those are what made up clay. Clay cannot mold itself because to mold is another process by another process within the universe already at right condition. This points out that what(not who) mold the clay is not the creator all rather maker of the clay.
likewise the bang theory can not formulate the soil, water, cloud, planet e.t.c, they are all different processes .

Isn't all you said a process? Even if humans built the accelerator in this case they came through process to give birth to another process and the accelerator will give birth to another process to find out something in another process .Please, make use of your brain for once.

You clearly forget to think while asking somebody to make use of brain.
They came through process to give birth to an infinite process that is true, but you need the metals, the space the man power and the time to v=bring about such process. If you take out those variables how will it happen?

If all the matter in the universe was compressed
into a small dot, what caused this to happen?
You are merely repeating your questions....the immensely dense state of all things in existence is the singularity that is not understood..

Where did gravity come from that held it
together?
Gravity itself did not exist at such a stage..

If this "dot" spun rapidly until it exploded., then
where did the energy come from to start the
spinning?
I never said a "dot spun rapidly till it exploded"...

Also, in an environment without friction you
would have this spinning dot going so fast it
would then explode. If this happened, then all
of the particles and matter being expelled from
this "spinning dot" would all have to spin in the
same direction as the dot they exploded from.
This is a popular question proposed by creationist kent hovind...and is based on a total misunderstanding of the big bang...
It tries to use the law of conservation of angular momentum to structure the singularity as a ball in space...when in reality space, time, matter are the singularity of which asking what happened in an environment that didn't exist would be like asking where north of the north pole is.

This is a known law of science, which those
who believe in Evolution cannot do away with.
It is known as the Conservation of angular
momentum.
I know the law you are referring to,and I just explained above why that is not the case...

This matter which is said to have created the
planets would all need to spin in the same
direction as the object it came from.
So therefore, all of the planets should be
spinning in the same direction.
However two of them are not. Venus and
Uranus spin backwards.
I've already explained to you that the singularity is not a spinning ball of mass that would be subject to the law..

Yelp. But one came before the other in some processes. Just like your forefathers gave birth to your mother and father who in a place gave birth to you and your sister... At least, my analogy is clear enough to understand. This is not balancing of equations or treating and formulating of theories.

Till they explain it and also explain the evolution of consciousness it remains unproven theory and that alone makes it non science but a belief. You don't see science journals publishing on proven information as fact.
Call it a theory and a belief because that is what it is.

Believe in whatever rocks your boat, but the idea of an earth devoid of a creator is pretty scary for most to phantom.

The idea that humans are not the product of the deliberate actions of a creator but rather the product of some freak accident (big bang) or evolution kind off make most feel empty and purposeless.

The fuel that drive most humans day to day is simply the believe that they have a higher purpose and calling already precharted by a creator other than just existing. So, it will be most unfair to deprieve most of this ideals, whether true or not.

As for me, I believe in the existence of God and that's what gets me going.
It's good to come across an honest theist once in a while.

Bleh! Hasn't it occurred to you that those are parts of what a process is? If I take out those variables it will become another process without those variables then as you continue, due to limitation, we will be inching close to the singularity - the point of the origin of the process, like in the quantum mechanics I pointed out before. A point where everything that exist is made up of the same particle no matter what the thing is.

It seems you are finding it difficult to comprehend simple explanation. It can be what ever process it wants to be, my questions still remains where would the variables come from. Remember we are talking about the beginning of every thing here, where would the variables come from if it all started from nothing?

You mention space and time but fails to recognise that space has to come from some where.
Space is the phenomenon that allows objects to be located on a 3-dimensional plane....with respect to time.
The singularity as I keep pointing out time and time again is existence itself at a 0-dimensional plane..
Do you pause and listen to what you are saying, Do not recognise that 0 is what it is and except you add something it can never change.
I doubt you understand eucladian geometry.
Even still its best you explain what you mean here...are you using mundane understanding of the physical world to address a quantum state?
When you say what we need to do abandon without out any prove you are at that point moving from science to believe and religion.
I said classical eucladian mathematics should be abandoned in favour of a new non-eucladian conjecture that would give an understanding of the singularity.. an example is hawkin entropy...but more on the non-eucladian side.

Science observes and characterise nature, it does not create it. Only when you have a proof should you make it science
Someone has been reading too many creationists pamphlets....science works by creating testable models that are verified by the evidence to make predictions in nature(theories)

science most be tested, proven and independently repeatable.
This is not an insult but an honest comment....you have a kindergarten grade level of understanding on what science is and I'll tell you why...
We haven't observed pluto's entire orbital period....nor had any experiment to prove it having the orbital period we gave it....so how did we now know it to be 200 plus years?
By using the model of newtonian mechanics and the theory of relativity we've deduced it and it has fulfilled the predictions of those models.

What prove do you have for that claim.
Because some structures and DNA sequence are present within a wide species does not mean it is a prove they evolved. It can also mean they where designed by same designer, mean things that perform the same function will be kept the same.

Use this to think about it: all Toyota cars have got tires because they need to move and the Toyota puts the tires in all the cars, but that does not mean the cars evolved randomly on their own.

Variations occur and chances of these variations been harmful or beneficial is 50% each.

The variables are parts of the process. Put those variables on a separate part they too have their make up as you continue to break them down you would come to a singularity of the same make up. If you cannot understand it. The singularity we are inching close to already is made up of any of those variables, whatever thing you can imagine. It is hard for you to comprehend. If you understand quantum mechanics very well you would be digging beyond that process at this point. Let me give you an instance to help you toward this explanation - just like electron can be at different places at once to effect different or another process.

DNA are chemicals and as you break those chemicals down you will find out that they aren't different from what make up the stone or plant. In a nutshell, ape and human are made up of the same thing though they look different because of the way the are formed or lack of the quantity that make up their composition of of those chemicals. I am using those kiddie's terms for clarity sake.

1. What singularity do you keep pointing out, you have not answered the question of how the matter came to be, so singularity is a theory.
2. Even a quantum state needs mathematical constant to function, it needs materials to function irrespective of how small this material is. Bringing us back to the question where did the materials come from.
3. Sometimes people say things in assumption and I will class this one as one.
4. A kindergarten understanding of science? Really I do a PhD research in molecular biology. Just like science I prefer proves http://youtu.be/u1ODL8g4ygk have a look around 1:17 that is me. so I do understand science more than you can imagine.

One of the best examples of evolution
nonsense is the thought that a wingless bird
began to evolve a wing. Why this would occur
is not answered by evolutionists. The wing
stub did not make the bird more adaptable
to his environment. The first wing stubs
would be much too small for the bird to fly.
Why would a bird evolve wing stubs that are
useless? This is backwards from the
evolutionary theory of natural selection,
which states that birds adapt and change in
order to survive better in their environment.
The bird with a half-size wing is placed at a
disadvantage in its environment.
Why would the bird continue for millions of
generations to improve a wing stub that is
useless? The Theory of Evolution is based on
natural selection of the most adaptable
member of a species, not the weakest. A bird
with a useless wing is at a severe
disadvantage. This is the opposite of natural selection
