@Chivic 123, you argue too much! Am just coming back from NAPTIP office this morning with my friend who could not collect his own last week. All the document required by NAPTIP to collect the passport has being prepare by him. He was suppose to collect his PP on the 7th as dated but he could not cos his name was not found b4 on the 7th. Today, when it was his turn after summitting all the required documents he was asked to pay N1000! When he asked why, they said his batch has passed that if it were to be his batch that he will be asked to pay N350. @Chivic 123, am so ashamed of you! you are clueless as Justwise used to say. i believe you have never being there to NAPTIP office to confirmed any thing yourself,you just arranged with Hinlaw because i asked for victims feedback. You are on your own ooo!

Well mr risky,i have said and i will say it again to your block head,continue and encourage your people to go and collect it where they will bill them and let me encourage mine to go to where they wont be billed more than what is need to be paid at the high court. Arrangey noni! Chivic123 has special NAPTIP officers who he go to to collect his passport and that of his people then they push others to where they will be asked for money haba! You just dey mouth money since, they are collecting nothing as if he has being there. you are on your own ooo! It's good people have started getting their passports back. God job to all those that made it happen. Now on the case of the so-called affidavit fee, based on information from a family member of mine that was involved, NAPTIP ain't collecting anything. Collection is free. The fee collected for affidavit typing is N100 and if you are lazy not to go to the court yourself, then you will be charged extra. The extra that you end up paying depends on your bargaining power. If you can get hold of a copy and type it yourself, then all you will pay is N250 at the court. My confidant did his for N500, both the typing and the stamping/signing of the affidavit. He has since collected his passport on the due date.

I had to confirm this before posting here since I wouldn't want to mislead people. So, just decide on which path to follow and retrieve your passports.

Do not forget to apply for the visa lottery. It's on now. You are unfortunate today does not mean you will not be successful tomorrow. Life continues, may God bless our labors.

Arrangey again?. Nairalanders we can see clearly who is encouraging what now. Tendering apology is what risk2get should have done(at least he once joined in demanding for such from some people when the MISLED people here the other time). If you dont want to apologise,no hard feeling,at least you too stood for what you believed in. Thank God,we are making progress. Honestly,it hurted me to hear that naptip are collecting money, because they vehemently promised those petitioners that they wont and i also watched their prompt response to the retrieval of those pps and how they have strongly held their ground not to handover them to immigration agency just to avoid any means of extortion and unecessary delay. Someone somewhere still believe they are scamming us upon all these efforts. We should know that naptip is not an agency fully under the federal government like immigration and custom or police, they are just being supported my the government and the rest from steady foreign aids. We should mind how we judge situation, and know that getting it wrong at a point doesnt mean one cant get it right the next time. Like i said earlier,if some people here prefer where they are collecting 1000 or any amount more than affidavit 350, then they should continue going there and let others go to where its free.

@All NAPTIP SUPPORTER, why are you people so afraid to say the truth? Nobody is going to stop NAPTIP from collecting the N350! I only came to share it on the forum for all Nairalanders to share their opinion about it. NAPTIP are collecting N350 at the point of collection no doubt about this! I keep going there everyday to confirm if they have stop it but, no they still collect N350. And if you could not collect b4 your scheduled batch day, will likely pay a fine of N650 or with your look pay N500. This is true! Am not saying that is bad given back applicants PP but, why must they say there will be no money require to collect the PP apart from the affidavit that you do on your own. I can come here and lie for what i did not witness. I still stand on my word, NAPTIP collect N350 at point of collection.

@ risk2get, what you are saying is not correct, am one of the victim of cs and collected my pp just this last week friday. there was nothing like collecting N350 before collection of pp, i think u need to go and get your fact wright. i had my affidavit typed by myself and get it signed and stamp at state high court ikeja for N250. There is no other payment to NAPTIP before collecting the pp. Please be sincere to yourself once, if u claim u go there often that means u are not a good NL, u are just here to cause unnecessary confusions and really u dont need that at all. Even your Boss Justwise has kept quiet on this issue, u are just looking for cheap publicity here. THE FILM HAS ENDED dont start another one.

Like i said before, i rather believe Risk2get, he claimed to have paid money while 2 other pple said they did not, the two parties could be right, i don't have any faith in NAPTIP.
