Once we organised an empowerment seminar for widows hoping to help them with business plans and grants. Na so two of them begin fight over seat come expose each other and several of the " widows " seated there too. " shameless woman, these children na ya neighbor and sister children " " I no better pass you, form widow finsih go give ya husband beer money" " you der talking you never ever marry before just dey fuc-k and born come dey follow claim widow"

I bought grinding machine for one widow, was paying her kids fees and buying uniform and bag also sending foodstuff once in a while, only for me to catch her begging in front of exclusive claiming her kids are out of school while I still had the receipts in my purse. Shock was an understatement some people like easy money and can never be satisfied.

One I helped raise money for his cancer treatment got him an orphanage to stay he stole theirneighbours generator, his justification was that I collected money from Government and refused to give him lol. He came to me while I was on my way to somewhere near my area.
After d sob story, I told him to wait for me let me go and come.
Na so I ran back, take all d money in d house and gave thie young boy.he thanked me and left.

Not up to 3 days on my way home from work with a friend, this same boy walked up to us again and started his story.
I gave him one dirty slap and wanted to hold him when he ran away. Didn't see him again.

What I gave him can pay his school fees double

five or six years later, i see this same woman, maybe around ikeja with the children now much bigger, still looking desperate and struggling to carry a naked child like a baby.

its the kids i feel sorry for - raised to know no better. give her sons a few more years and they will smashing windows in traffic
