Read up on the history and advent of spousal support, it was set-up to assist women in the days when they were mostly housewives and did not work like their male counterparts.

You are right but let us not deceive ourselves, a great number of women demands money from men even when dating, then a bride price is paid and then many men are expected to pay the bills all by themselves. This is also part of the reality. There are those hard working women who contribute and even though they do, are guests in their own houses and there are those who consider it the man's responsibility to pay for all bills, before and after marriage.

A lot of Nigerian women have the mentality of her money is hers only and the husbands money is for the family.

I have seen a woman come to open threads here complaining how she should be paying school fees of her kids at the time the husband has money in a building project. When it comes to spending Nigerian women believe the kids are for the man alone. You would hear them say "Are they not your kids? Like she didnt contribute 50% of the DNA

Women who see spending on their family, or even buying their husband a gift as absurd.

In nigeria where the reverse is the case(that is to say the nigerian marriage act is kinda tilted to favour the man in most instances), you never hear women encourage the cold-blooded murder of abused/divorced wives or attempt to rationalize whatever heinous crime they commit against their spouse.

There4, the proper entity you guys need to channel your anger to shouldnt be the victimised/dead wives, but the authority that set up these laws.

As long as they chose to be or are part of the society, the laws must be enforced on them too. They can as well migrate to countries where they will never be compelled by any law to finance a grown-up woman's ar..se with their hard-earned money.

The men that go back to Nigeria to marry women (mostly NURSES) or the ones that marry these girls (mostly from poor background) and bring them back to the US and pay for their nursing studies are to blame. SIMPLE!!

The same guy was with her while she was studying for Nursing. He was looking after the home front, looking after the kids when she went to Uni full-time and sponsoring all of these things.

Fast forward it to today, She is working and making about 3-times my guy salary. She kicked him out of the house some months back and has reported him to the Child support agency to demand that he pays. He received a letter to that effect that he must pay her £600 pounds per month.

She took the kids
She is living in the house (not mortgage)
She makes about £4000 per month working full-time as a nurse
He makes less than £2000 a month
She is going to get £600 a month from his money

How many children? If they were still together, how much would he contribute towards taking care of his children per month? How much will the woman contribute herself to caring for the children now even despite his own payments?

i came across a story - husband & wife separated when the baby was only 21 months old. since then, wifey refused to let the hubby visit the child. there have been 82 different court orders asking the wife to let the dad see his child & she has defied all of them.

can the court do anything? no. are there any enforceable laws to punish selfish mothers who use children as pawns? no. if a man defies a court order twice, he would go to jail. this man has been going in & out of family courts for 12 years & yet he has not succeeded in seeing his own child.

he's spent £100,000 on this case - the money that should have been invested in the child's life. he's missed the entire childhood of his daughter - which he can never get back and the law has done nothing. if this man buys a rifle tomorrow and shoots his wife then he won't be fully justified?

The fact is still there is no justification for muder

Its just tragic. He should not have bothered and put the money in a trust for his child

Lol. Stories like this one abound on these streets - folks just don't pay attention to details. They're not urban legends. So, you have to question why folks still indulge in investing in "good wives" from 3rd world countries. Women in general always have amnesia, and they're opportunists. Now imagine how folks coming from a dark place will act, once they see what they deem as the "light." I've seen a few of these women these people "import" from naij - and most of them are never attractive.

A lot of white Brits have been getting zanged of late due to the their stupidity with Thai women. These folks travel to Thailand for holiday - and after booze sessions and getting their co.cks banged by Thai chics in Bangkok, these plonkers bring them over here and get married to them. Only for Thai chics to dump their ar.ses once they get sorted - with the men spamming everywhere with stories that touch the heart.

If you're stupid enough not to understand the mentality of women in general, and how easy it's for them to exploit laws of the country to their favour - you're on ya own.
