OP, I was there, the only reason such question did no come up was because every question where screened, so the ones that would have include his certificate where screened out hence you never heard of it, why did he not grant interview outside?? did you ask yourself that question? he should have paused at the entrance to speak for just 10 mins and see if he would not be asked that question.

He is even free to avoid the question of WASC at any interview but not the 10 court cases and counting... we have laws to follow.

Op, you simply mean that Nigerian law should be bent because of Buhari. Get this straight: Because Buhari does not have school certificate but can express himself in spoken and written English does not in any way take away the fact that we have Nigerians who have suffered to study to acquire certificates and can express themselves in written and spoken English better than Buhari.

I have met many people who don't have school certificates but are good writers and speakers of English language. You cannot justify Buhari's disrespect for Nigerian law with such baseless analogy. That's how Buhari refused to appear before Oputa panel. Are you saying those who sat down to outline (in the constitution) the presentation of school certificate to INEC were fools?
Go to court.

My problem with Nigerians is lack of objectivity.
If we don't teach this leaders how to be truthful, do you think any political party can save us?
The problem is not exactly our leaders, it's us.

I mean which nation would have it's youth chanting gibberish that they would vote for one with even a NEPA bill?
What the APC is offering, 'change' are just mere promises that we have been fed over and over again by past leaders.

Imagine people promising to curb corruption not even being able to produce a stunning truthful candidate!

For the records, only his statement of result was released.
That of course is far from authentic proof.
Cambridge threw the door open for him to come forward for official clarification, but they (APC) never showed up!

What happened to rejecting a liar and voting for another credible candidate eg Fasola
No! Nigerians are just gullible people who fall for the easiest propagandas and deceit in the world!

"School certificate or Equivalence" was stipulated by the constitution. If he didnt present a school certificate, he probably has the equivalence, the US war college being one of them. I think this certificate issue has been stressed much more than the critical issues and we should leave the courts to say the final verdict while deliberate on more important matters.

Simple. Maybe you were a baby in Buhar's regime. So you knowledge of it is what you were told.

Oputa panel was to address human right abuses by dictators during the 80s & 90s.

Appearing would have given answers to the families of Buhari's victims like the Owohs, the Ogedengbes and so on. Who Buhari killed their son using retro-active decrees.

But he refused to be accountable. The same way he has refused to come out and show his certificate and demonstrate that he is above board. When Obama's detractors (like Donald Trump) spread rumours that he wasn't born in the USA (as ridiculous as the rumour was), he released his Hawaii-issued birth certicicate.

That's what statesmen do. Show respect to the public, supporters and detractors alike.
what has it got to do with the write up? tell me.

Absolutely nonsense. If you show no evidence for the prerequisite for a job, will you be invited for interview let alone job? Your write up tend to explain that you regard the foreign media more than Nigerian constitution.

We can take you serious. Can you violet a law in US and Nigerian media opinion will be considered?
The people convicted of drug related offences in Indonesia, have the international media rewritten their constitution?

If you are proud that a certificateless candidate should lead Nigeria, ensure your children didn't attend any school.

The op is simple naïve. So because the international media did not ask buhari ,that means our local media too shouldn't ? And when did our national politics starts following international media standards? So the op is so ignorant and navie not to know that apc and buhari media team can tell them which areas to touch and which areas not to talk about ? I don't even think the op knows that most of these interviews are paid for ,it is all part of PR job. The op is a primary school teacher *LEARNER* ...that knows nothing about politics .

@OP, am sorry but I don't think you know what you are saying. The governance of any government rests on the foundation of 'The Constitution' and every department has its own constitution. Why should you be comparing our media with that of the US and co, who's telling you those guys give a heck of what goes on in this country, infact they even predicted the failure of Nigeria in this year....Let me refresh your memory incase you may have forgotten or maybe you are not aware..President Barack Obama , when he was campaigning to for his 1st term, doubts and suspiscion were raised concerning his age, He had to present his 'BIRTH CERTIFICATE' to clear all doubts concerning the age he was claiming and that dashed all doubts and he moved on. IS BUHARI ABOVE THE LAW? Eh, Mr man? Is he? Why is he so full of himself? This same Americans refused selling ammunitions to us and they also failed in their bid to assist us rescue the Chibok Girls and you are here using them as reference.

According to the INEC's constituition, Candidates are required to present a WAEC result as a minimum requirement, what is wrong in asking a candidate whether what INEC said was true concerning his refusal to submit his certificate? You should commend them rather than castigate them. They are doing wonderfully well and we are proud of them. Atleast am better informed now than when Buhari was head of state.

Leave Americans out of our issues, they don't care about us.

The Law state certificate or its equivalent whch can be either statement of result or affidavit that was why I laughed when I heard and also watched OLISA AGBAKOBA a SAN for that says he went to confirm from the INEC himself whether Buhari didn't submit certificate 4getin what the constitution says or did INEC say they need his(buhari) certificate? If they didn't why are u pple giving ursef sleepless night?

Buhari's certificate issue should be a shame to the people tallking about it. I can imagine the buffon that cameup with this silly propaganda and he literally just lit a match stick opn a small dead grass and asked Nigerians to pour petrol on it.
I for one would never believe that Buhari did not attend college. Even if he did not, he has military educational qualifications that are equivalent and higher than an SSCE. He also came on Tv to address the issue of his certificate. He released a copy of his results. What else do you Nigerians want?
.

You can believe anything. It doesn't matter. What matters is complying with the law.

If you have any evidence against GEJ or anybody, as a citizen, you would be unpatriotic and a dissapointment if you didn't submit such to appropriate authorities to invesigate.

The question can also arise whether he was even qualified to be in the army or sent for training leading to commissioning as an officer, not just a soldier. If he didn't pass Maths. So if he lied his way into the army, he could be stripped of his rank and political career gone too.

Even if GEJ broke the law and he's free, if a thief comes to your house, rob and molest people in it (God forbid) would you tell the police to not hunt them down because after all GEJ is a free man?

Do you understand the meaning of "minimum"?

The requirement is "minimum of WASC or its equivalent".

If I need the minimum of $100 to qualify for an event and it has been established that I have $1000, why would you dwell on insisting that
I show you a $100 bill to prove that I have $1000?

This WASC issue is becoming stale, nauseating and childish.
