Firstly I made that comment not her.

Yes, I wouldn't watch an igbo movie @gun point - it gat no content.
Maybe, I might watch it when it has a content.

When I see people like you, advertently exude unconscionable level of fatuity, inferiority complex, garrulity, querulousness and petulance.
I just sit back and watch.

To bandy words with you, would be an affront on my well-groomed sensibility and intellect. Your level of assimilation is turbid and way below par...

Please, bear with me if I don't indulge you again. Right now, it's only apposite that I ignore you__ I think your brain is on Auto-reverse.

Thanks.

So much for intelligence. You are truly pathetic.

Lol @ putting the name Der Kaiser and inferiority complex together on the same sentence.

I don't need to go through your disgraceful post again. Once is enough and my cognition is intact. Thanks.

You are just a shameless self hater for that tasteless "gunpoint" comment and the more your kind remove themselves from greater Igbo affairs, the better.

Seems like nobody taught you anything about dirty linens and public or keeping your trap shut if you have nothing sensible to say.

Edit: My apologies if the comment wasn't from you. All above comments thus addressed to the fòól who made the comment.

You are sick!!!
You can't quote me and insult me on a comment that wasn't mine then modify to fix up your useless apology.

They are just like GEJ led government...smh....Igbos know how to flood things that will generate money but always ignore the standardization of the said thing....in tuface's voice ' all them know na just to make a naira' whereas Yoruba and Hausa work on things to perfect it before they start thinking of what to gain from it(which is always the best if you want to get to the top)...that's the difference

Pls could you mention one of the things either Yoruba or Hausa has worked to perfection in this country.

ur people started the insults and d hate, how does a SOUTH AFRICAN owned company refusing to create and igbo channel turn out to become yoruba fault that u ibos are now blaming yorubas.go and read from page 1,ibos started insulting yorubas and they get it back, its fair enough.ibos should stop blaming others for their ineffiencies

this whole finger-pointing won't help.

'Cos when the chips are down, no one would ask who started the insults & hate game.

It all started like this in Rwanda.

No disrespect to the igbos. I love igbos. Truth be told, there aren't enough content to air. There is an igbo channel on startimes, and they barely have anything interesting to put on, and it is characterised by repititions. If dstv were to eventually open an Ndigbo channel, I am sure even igbos will get bored after a while.

Popular Igbo Nollywood actors have to forget all the pure English movies they act in. Promote their culture to the world. Most Indian actors speak good English, but they still stick to their language in movies, and theybare respected everywhere. Every week, at least 15 yoruba movies are released, Even though half of them are nonsense, it still gives room for options. Igbos should release as many as possible too.

I would be glad, if they can work on this, and produce plenty many Igbo movies. Maybe from there, I will learn enough Igbo to woo Chinweizu(my life long crush).

I'm Igbo but you spoke well without bashing, that's the pure truth. Albeit I have watched one recent Igbo film, "Nkoli Nwa Nsukka", very interesting, more of that should come up. Ka Chineke mezie okwu. Though I trust my people, the Igbo channel will give them a boost, more people will see Igbo movies giving more commercial value.

Sorry to use the word ' perfect' because it's only God that's perfect but that's what I have observe about Igbos...Igbos always want to take advantage of the people with their product even if the product dey kill or not them nor care as far as money dey come to them whereas Yorubas do things to look classy and appealing to the eyes with endurance.

Never mind. You are just giving them more points to feast on. Have you seen any of them engage igbos in igbo language? They rather converse in their language even on a chinese forum. Mind you, some yorubas can speak igbo fluently too.

cos we want to dominate igbo movies as a boss after dominating english films as a boss,
Then we will come to yoruba films and also dominate it as a boss too..
Emeka ike,
Mike ezuronye,
And ngozi nwosu have acted yoruba movies before...

So One good thing about the fear of my pple is that we love dominating and conquering in sphere that has to do with competitions...,

just see what will happened after igbo station is launch and dominated by ndigbos, and if no space,we will
shift to yorubahood to kannyhood called hausa station cos we speak all languages in nigeria.
Hence our advantage as businessmen...
you are on point. Igbo are good at mastering other ppls language bt have hardly seen other tribes being good at Igbo lang

Don't get it twisted though cause addressing you as a kid has more to do with you than whatever my perceived age is to you. Anybody who openly and shamelessly insults his parents language in order to gain cheap and irrelevant Internet notoriety has the intelligence equivalence of a weasel, at least to me.

But please ignore me like you promised 'cause I also know how to bring heat when irked and I wouldn't care that you are a girl, at least online.

Wat does it take to give Ndiigbo their channel? Fear that they might out do hausa and yoruba and be more popular? Perhaps the recognition that Ndiigbo invented Nollywood and are great.

It is just jealousy and envy of Ndiigbo that is the only reason they try very hard to hold us down but we rise and rise again.

Rubbish!!!! people with inferiority complex always consoled themselves with this sentimental statement. People above you will never be jealous of you; fact.

DSTV isn't ministry of culture and tribal affairs, they're here to make money! Igbo actors and actresses are aplenty in nollywood and it's igbo marketers that sell the bulk of these movies as well, so this your conspiracy theory is dead on arrival. If there's demand, DSTV will supply it. But if it irks you so much, launch your own.

I love igbo people__ because, they keeep convincing themselves that they are being hated on.

Lets face reality, if they decide to create an igbo station - do we have enough content?
Do we have enough actors?

Apart from Queen Nwokoye, and a handful__ who else would be in the cast?

Majority of igbo actors have deflected to nollywood (English speaking Nigerian movie).

That's not the same for yorubas, the best yoruba actors are not even the ones you see in Nollywood. Majority of their veteran actors are in their indigenous industry (Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Yinka Quadri, Adebayo Salami(Oga Bello),Jide Kosoko,Idowu Phillips (Iya Rainbow) . Carving a niche for themselves there.

__ then the younger generation: Funke Akindele,Doris Simeon, Fathia Balogun, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Dayo Amusa, Mercy Aigbe etc.

Y'all need to watch yoruba movies, the sync, cast, colour, storyline hasn't even been achieved by the igbo dominated Nollywood.

Igbo people should work on themselves and stop looking for who to blame everytime. It's becoming boring.

Yoruba and Hausa are International Languages!! Yoruba is spoken in Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Haiti, Barbados, Cuba, and many other Carribean Countries!! Many Hausas, Igbos and other Ethnic groups can speak Yoruba fluently, many white people from America and Europe speak Yoruba fluently too!! Some igbos and hausas have acted Yoruba Movies sef.

Hausa is Spoken in Nigeria, Niger Republic, Chad, Mali, Burkina Faso and even some parts of Northern Ghana!! Many Igbos and Yorubas can speak Hausa fluently and even feature in Hausa movies!!

But Igbo is only Spoken in Nigeria, Someone from another ethnic group who wasn't born in Igbo land cannot learn to speak Igbo very fluently! I've personally never seen an Hausa man that can speak Igbo fluently talkless of a Foreigner or a white man!

I always want to learn Igbo cos that's d only major language I can't speak fluently but my Igbo friends are always reluctant to teach me as if they're ashamed of d language or sumtin!! thank God for Flavour and Phyno that are teaching me Igbo small small thru music.

Again Igbo actors prefer to speak English rather than Igbo, In Igbo only comedy movies by Nkem Owoh (my Fav Actor), Victor Osuagwu, Queen nwokoye, Charles Awurum, Charles inojie are selling but they can't do it alone. they need more hands. Igbo pple need to promote/package their Culture and Language for others to appreciate before accusing DSTV of tribalism. how would a Big business like that Open a station that won't sell just to please an ethnic group.

I appeal to Jim Iyke, KOK, Genevieve, OC Ukeje et al to start acting in Igbo language in addition to their English Nollywood movies like Funke Akindele, Gabriel afolayan, Jide kosoko, Kehinde Bankole, etc

JUST MY HONEST OPINION....IGBO KWENU!! grin
