Honestly speaking. It depends on background. Some people cannot manage. Only people wiv humble beginnings can cope. I will marry such a guy if I am also earning something. If not there is just no way we can cope 4 Likes |

Funny how some people see that 50k is way too small in a marriage...remember sometimes is not how big the money is but how well it was planned and used...not how far either but how well. even zero is good for a start..your state of mind determines how great you can be...Jesus fed great multitude with two fishes and five loafs yet I saw a comment of a lady here binding and casting against such meagre amounts..we all need to start somewhere. #Alubarika 13 Likes |

To me, 50k can feed a family and pay your child' school fees depending on your lifestyle and that of your wife 6 Likes |

G12: You have to read my post well, else you are just wasting my time. I pointed out that a salary of 50k is meagre, except of course we are living in a place where the standard of living is low. I can't marry a guy of 50k, where I am earning also low and stay in places like Abuja, PH, etc.I WONT DO THAT! AND I DONT INTEND LIVING THERE EITHER. |

I got married when I was earning 40,000 Naira and had a child in that situation and had a house maid, yet we were living pretty well by the Grace of Almighty God. I moved in from a one room self contained to a fine One bedroom flat. I live in Kubwa, Abuja. We have never had a better yesterday with my current 50k and occasional helping hand from my wife. To God alone be all the glory 47 Likes |

Given the present socio-economic condition, the type of ladies that will do that are not on the social media like nairaland. They probably don't even have sophisticated phones/subscription money to access the internet i.e. they are in the rural communities. 2 Likes 1 Share |

So many ladies are suffering from myopia. The funny thing about it is that guys earning big won't tell you how they started rough. You can't add value to his life, he gets frustrated, he starts beating you...just an example. A guy, just 3 years ago, was trekking all around town of Ilorin doing tutorial job, earning 12k. Now, the dude is working with Glo. Bought a car, built a house and got married. How did he find himself at Glo? He taught a boy whose father works at Glo. The boy cleared all his papers. Guys, even if you're earning 15k, provided you're smart, focused and with goodwill on your side, you will make it. That's sure. 29 Likes 4 Shares |
