I believe you are aware of the legislative process and how bills are passed into law.
Ask the pdp about that.

I was just pointing it out to you, i didn't say you did. She and her principal with the PDP failed to get the PIB passed.

The PIB bill is currently and has been with the national assembly while they played defection politics and scaled the NASS fence without deliberating on issues that will benefit the masses.

Leave GEJ out of this.

I won't leave a president that can't get members of his party to pass a bill but he could get them to declare him sole aspirant.

I have spent several days searching for the achievements of the present minister of petroleum, i have not found any. Someone should please help me out here.

We would like to know how many pipelines she laid

how many percent has she increased the capacity our refineries

Her achievements on LNG

Major reform she has successfully completed.

I hate to think this woman has done nothing in her reign as minister.

I believe your post is wrongly written. Of course, she must have achieved some things, however, these achievements may only affect 10% of the entire Nigerian populace.

Maybe you haven't read about the local content act 2010 or the activities of Nigerian content development and monitoring board. Let me quote Mr. Abazie "...the passing of the Nigerian Content Act and implementation of the local content policy has provided an enabling environment for us to grow faster, develop capacity and achieve our ultimate goals"

Small players in the oil and gas industry are getting contracts due to local content act. You can read the act and see it's other benefits

http://www.ncdmb.gov.ng/images/DOWNLOADS/NC-ACT/NC_ACT.pdf

The oil and gas haven't been growing as it should be but to say that the minister achieved nothing is taking it too far.

From Mr. Abazie Managing Director of Strides Energy and Maritime Limited "...the passing of the Nigerian Content Act and implementation of the local content policy has provided an enabling environment for us to grow faster, develop capacity and achieve our ultimate goals"

From Ihenacho, Executive Chairman of Seven Energy Limited " the Act “really supports the growth of the oil services sector,” and aims to ensure that international participants “use local talent as much as possible.” This should prevent the arbitrary exploitation of Nigerian resources and workers as the energy industry continues to grow

The act was started under OBJ but was never passed until after she became the minister under GEJ in April 2010. Just like if GMB come on board and pass the PIB, it will be his success not minding the fact that it has been there for such a long time.

I do not think she have achieved enough or have done creditably well, but it's wrong to say she has no achievement in the sector. There are others, but have no time going through them

You guys need to realise that the scrutiny and criticism will continue with no respite so ensure your APC people do well in all the three tiers - federal, state and LGA- where they are in charge.
