Super1Star: Chai see how you busted his lie immediately wicked man, That's 1965 list of richest Nigerians and guess what 5 out of the 9 are yorubas, they had a functioning ports and there was no biafra still they were not the richrst tribe IGBOS need to understand that making money is beyond importation and yorubas are very conversative in wealth. I'm yoruba if Forbes didn't reveal Folorunhso Alakija I won't Have known she was a billionaire in dollars Check ventures AFRICA a mag owned by an igbo man of the richrst 50 Nigerians 25 are yorubas so why are they making noise Do you know yorubas export N500bn in Agric alone ? Pls my igbo bros stop making noise Do you know the richest nigerains in diaspora are of yoruba extraction ? As for Ogun, business needs to expand and no land in Lagos hence they troop there which will naturally attract workers And as for land sales my yoruba friends just bought land owned by an Igbo man and there wasn't any ethinic coloration Igbos Money making is beyond importation 2 Likes

Mynd44: Sir, I may be wrong but I tink market places are not nature given but man made. Their are sites located for this purpose, all they need do is build up these markets which in turn brings about development of the community, create jobs and improve standard of living. Also schools are built in d process which is what the igwe also emphasized on. Now know that not all igbo man would agree to move their businesses back home but if many do....it will in no doubt be of great benefit to them |

jmoore: The Obi is only saying, igbos can carry on their businesses anywhere, but they should invest in SE for protection. Many go to north to buy land, built houses and even establish a company, it's not safe. Igbos are being envied in nigeria, so any slightest thing will lead to destruction of their hard earn investment. 1 Like |

Last time I wrote something about you damn Ibos I was banned but ill make it lighter today as I will always say yoruba people please do not inter-marry with this baboons it is very dangerous for your unborn kids in the future .it could affect them from contesting anything political in future due to having that ibo bubonic plague blood in them as for me I'll never have anything to do with such breeds.Go back to your states and develop leave yoruba land alone 4 Likes |

patmaine: LOL. If that's you strategy it is already DOA (Dead on Arrival) coz mass-trading in a 2x2 in no way underscores economic dominance. The dominant Yorubas of Lagos need not compete with you all in your trading 'areas of strength' as we've chosen to devote ourselves to more worthwhile socio-economically relevant and professional areas of expertise, e.g. We would rather be Accountants, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Professors, and focus on Manufacturing, Civil service, Service Industry, etc. As a matter of fact, the combined economic value of those traders in 2x2 that litter Lagos is a drop in the Ocean compared to the value of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) that Lagos keeps attracting daily, so please don't flatter yourself. 1 Like |
