I've lived in Abuja for over 2 administrations and for as long as I can remember the presidents aides and co usually block the federal secretariat road as well as central area, but the place the Op has posted in the pic is Lugbe which is the road to the airport and route to other states in Nigeria.
This pic shows Mr. President causing delay for not just Abuja residents but travellers, I know how many times I insulted Gej for obstructing movement in town, and I just can't imagine why president Buhari will allow such nonsense happen.

Do not support this act simply cos u've chosen to be sentimentally biased, the op has every right to vent!

The op's complaint is very legitimate and in order.
We vote leaders to serve and lead us, not to Lord over us.
We have to start to demystify leadership in Nigeria.
If there is an alternate arrangement that can minimize hardship and inconvenience to the public, the new president should be encouraged to use it.

Sorry for been sentimental Kazmanbanjoko, but dude the government didn't buy the ticket for me and other people trying to catch flights this morning. Also, I pay my taxes here in Nigeria and have the right to question how it is been spent. Have you ever thought about how much it will cost for allowances per hour to make police and soldiers guard almost 43km of road.

Have you ever thought how much it cost to fuel the presidential vehicles, police and military vehicles which should be nothing less than a hundred compared to 1 or 2 helicopters.

This Presidential way of wastage has been going on for too long and I believe people have the right and freedom to express their views on how government treats its citizens.

Please try to be more critical in your thinking rather than been sentimentally sarcastic.

I totally understand you. This is what the security team of the president is use too...But I believe buhari will do something about it in the not too far future.

The President Muhammadu Buhari's convey in a normal Presidential way block roads leading to the airport this morning. I almost missed my flight but thanks to checking in online. I really think the President should use the helicopter and stop making the police and soldiers stand under the rain and block civilians from their daily activities.

Let's not be over dramatic , I have been in a traffic stopped by police in Chicago for almost an hour cos Obama was coming from the airport when he came to Chicago.
