Why does Osun state appear to be the only state making so much noise about this crises when there are over 20 states caught up in the mess? Aregbesola owes 7 some states owe 6 and others 5, yet we hardly hear a word from them.

I think this is beyond mere salaries. Someone somewhere is pulling these strings.

SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX, SEX Yes!! Don't just complain...read this--»»END TIME INDEED!!! The devil has released his demons to destroy more souls!!! Please take ur time 2 go tru dis message cos its very important who knows u might save a life. (I just got this from a female contact I don't know if its true) BlackSea Angel'; is's a female bloody occult originating 4rm Caribbean Island. Most of their members are half-cast or black young ladies between d ages of 18 to 28yrs old. They have been sent to west African countries particularly Nigeria, they are here; already operating especially at night in major cities of Nigeria (particularly Lagos, Abuja, Port-Hacourt, Kaduna, Kano, Calabar who knows where again). They initiate Nigerian girls by making friends with them, sharing gifts and lots of money...in d cause of being generous; their method is to touch their victims with either a silver or golden ring on their finger, then come back to torment them in their dreams and afterwards transfer their souls to the sea spirit. They seduce Nigerian men both young and old. They have sex with them, when they do, they will want to be on top with prolong kisses as they carry out their silent n inauspicious rituals on the unsuspecting man so as to use their spirits for their blood sacrifice. Pls warn ur husbands, sisters, brothers, family members as well as ur neighbours. Beware of strangers who quickly want to be yr friends n would gladly want to jump into bed with u. Already, they have a lounge in Abuja where they lure innocent girls into lesbianism and in the process, trade their destinies with gifts of cash and good living. Let the yellowabad citizens of Osun State (Mind you i didnt say "Osunbade", like the lean ass, cow rearing, "certipicate"less, illiterate pa Methusellar of a Bokohhari would call his VP, i.e the mere commissioner) stew in their own juice.

grin grin the same way Jonathan resigned honorably? Lol question: do taniods know wat honour is?

Anyways, while ultimately the buck falls on ogbenis table, the judge should know the fall of oil prices remains the chief reason osun can np longer meet its obligation not the accumulation of debts.

Let's call spade a spade. He messed up. He saw this coming and he would have nipped it in the bud after one or two months.

His statement that without federal allocation he can't pay salary is irresponsible.

Drop in oil has affected everybody not aregbesola alone so why is he complaining. What about states who are not owing.

He has a lot of misplaced priorities and we all know it. He should work more on generating revenue for the state and all governors should do this because oil is crashing very fast

Aregbesola has lost focus long ago but for sentiment sake and APC policy of no-party-member-public-enditement, he has been covered so much the obviou manifested itself.

Did you say we should call a spade a spade? Be careful o! When you mix a spade in a matter concerning Osun, you get Osunbade. That can put you in serious poo!

Situation is bad. Aregbe has failed. But what is the motive of impeachment? Will the next Governor do a miracle? Who no wan be governor, Mr. Speaker? This may just still be part of antiTinubu plan for the South west. Good luck to them! God remains in control in Nigeria. That's what matters ultimately!

I do not support non - payment of salary hence other governors that are also owning salary should all be impeached. Single out Aregbe sounds unfair and one- sided.

There is a saying "leave the stage when the ovation is loudest". Aregbesola would hv been seen as hero if he had spent only one term and left. The new governor would hv been facing the problems he left behind. People would hv been saying that his exist caused the problem because he has the magic if he remains the Governor. To satisfy his people, he ate more than he could chew in his first term in office. It is unfortunate that we are in this mess. He is also confused as he publicly acknowledged. Only God can save us in Osun State now. Every sector remains stand still. Go to our schools and ask for the popular"opon imo", it is a failed project. The students were only distracted. They could not make appropriate use of the tablet and their skills in library usage was defeated. I really pity the Governor, he had good intention but inapropriate strategy.

This impeachment should be done very fast. All APc controlled are in serious trouble. Aregberascal does not love the pple of Osun. Tinubu has eaten that state dry. After impeachment he shud be arrested immediately

aregbe Bleep up with this unpaid salary and I pray APC shouldn't lose osun state cos of this.

the man know try abeg

I don't think Osun PDP is taking advantage of what's happening in Osun. They should've been sharing food stuffs now in all the local government areas in Osun on a monthly basis.

I bet you this will seal APC's fate (failure) by 2018 elections in Osun.

You people should allow this man to rest. Were you blind folded when you people voted him?I remember then before his re election how Osun was plunged into crises as a result of Aregbesola's anti people's policies yet this man found his way into office again and the same people that said he is their messiah and voted him are the same people complaining now.It is too late. You all made the choice,so leave with it till he leaves office.

So the states that are not owing were not affected by the drop in oil price right

The bolded is the height of insensitivity and this one of the reason why nigeria is where it is today, if you were one of those been owed for simply working their butts off you will not be making this kind of comments...

Don't let your party affiliation blind you to the glaring failure of aregbe...SMH[/s]

Let me give some lessons on commonsense,
1.The gov embark on various projects during time of high oil price, based on the the fact that the state could afford the projects and at the same time pay its workers,
2. but the sudden drop in oil price has severely affected the state ability to pay its workers, fact
3. Many states cannot pay their workers
4. Those paying their workers either have huge monthly allocations or have grown their internally generated revenue, fact
5. In my statement, I stated explicitly that the buck falls on the gos table, fact
6. In my statement, I indicated the judge was wrong to accuse the state government of mismanagement when in fact control of oil price is beyond the govs TOR, fact
7. Your resort to emotional shoutings and answering points that were never raised only shows how party affiliations is your driving comments and thinking, fact.
I got know time for your sneaky arguement. FACT
