Post of chief of staff is not and should not be by ethnicity or religion. The office or position should strictly be for ur most trusted ally. Nothing is bad if PMB even appoint his wife as COS.

Whenever they appoint Northerners, they reel us with their academic credentials and every comment of 'outstanding profile' starts filing in. I never knew that the Northerners were more educated and have more impressive professional profiles than any other part of the country until Buhari's regime. Redefining Nigeria that is. No southerner is educated, no southerner is credible. They are only used as ladder to get to the top.

Mr. Man, he is not 77! Abba Kyari was former ED and later GMD/CEO of UBA. He graduated from Cambridge University (Law) in 1980. He couldn't be more than between 55 and 57. You must have been referring to another person (Gen. Kyari who was a part of our history).

Jarus respect yourself. That was what was initially posted before the Mod changed it. You may read through the thread to learn some common sense.

I just realized that all the blogs I have read on the profile of our New Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, non seems to be able to mention which of the Northern states he is from. Why so much secrecy? What is the big deal? I believe that should be one of the basic information in his profile. Haven't these bloggers realised that Nigerians are not so much tribalistic any more? All we want is service delivery. Still we would like to know the basic details about our Senior Government appointees. The fact that this basic info is missing gives me a feeling that there is a lot we are not being told about these appointees. No wonder the confusion on the identity of which Abba Kyari was appointed as the New Chief of Staff.
Please can someone give me a better and complete profile on these guys and not just copy and paste what government dishes out.
