If a man uses the same car for 10 years. It tells me that:

I. He is disciplined and has done what it takes to maintain the car.

Ii. He is not given to flashy things.

Iii. Even though, he has occupied public office in the past, he did not not enrich himself.

That is the kind of person, we need.

I am a strong Buhari Supporter. I like the fact that he is appointing people of Integrity. I know his limitation is the fact that he knows nothern people more personally than southerners. Thus he can vow for them more in terms of Integrity since that is very important to him.

However, I think he needs to search for people of integrity in the south. He need to do serious search in order to ensure balance. Appointing mostly notherners is not the best way to go. He may not have so much personal relationship with many southerners of integrity, he needs to search for them. He is the president of Nigeria. He should add it to his responsibility the search of people of integrity in the south.

Consolation is natural impulse. The Biafrans do not hate the Yorubas. It is just that we do not like being back-stabbed. There is no evidence to show that Obasanjo did anything meaningful for the Yorubaland, even the road leading to his home was not tarred throughout his tenure. He hunted Mike Adenuga out of Nigeria and fleeced Lagos State allocation for over 2years, which made people question if he was truly a Yoruba man. He was there at the request of the North and served the Northerners throughout his stay in the North. Lol.. the funny thing I've noticed is that NOBODY has doubted the competence of these appointees yet, NOBODY has accused any of them of corruption in their previous activities, NOBODY has argued about their qualifications. All I hear is "they are northerners".. I'm surprised at how we judge things in this country. No doubt, these are men Baba knows and worked with right from when before most of us were even born so it's easier for him to pick these ones first. Over the years, he has met new people and worked with people from different part of Nigeria, I believe along the line he's found new friends and trusted (uncorrupt) people to. He has thousands of appointments to make still, it will be very irresponsible for anybody to think he won't balance his appointments as time goes on. I'd definitely trust my childhood friends first before friends I met in the university. That's the truth! It is to early to start wailing.

Unfortunately for you we are not and will never be on the same page on this issue. All the former appointees that have been from thei other zones what have they done to the country and their people? Only to loot, accumulate private jets and poverty and unemployment still linger on. So of what benefit has their positions been to you and I?
