Honestly, I wish Saraki's party torment him the more. that idiiot is like his late father. the likes of him were the reason why Nigeria iz as worst as this. btw, all d Code of Conduct noise is a script written by Ojuyobo Tinubu just to get his candidate to the seat of Senate of President of which can never come to pass. Just that all this bullshiit will affect Nigeria/Nigerian in a negative way. Tinubu can GO TO HELL, NIGERIAN DONT FUCCKING CARE. if Saraki was removed(of which am nt sure & also dnt support him as I have ntin to do wit him), Tinubu candidate will never smell dat seat. NONSENSE

Lailai.....The code of conduct Tribunal shall NOT be subjected to any other authority or person. That is what the Constitution says.
To some extent self It still get an edge over the corrupt federal high court if discovered with proofs that the betrayal(saraki) bribed them.

Do anybody want to tell me that our judiciary are not being used on this man?

Though I never like Senator Saraki, why all these trials now? Are all our former govs not guilty of what we accuse Saraki off? Who's saint amongst them all?
Nobody is fooling us why then can't we tell ourselves the truth and stop fooling around?
The blatant truth is that PMB/PYO wants to push some reform bills and with Saraki on that seat the bills may not see the light of day hence he need to go at any cost

Are you suggesting that excellence should be jettisoned. When Jonathan was voted and he won by a respectable margin in 2011 across the whole of Nigeria the last thing voters had on their mind was zoning and FEDERAL CHARACTER. Young men and women have to learn to work hard and be honest to gain relevance, many people voted for the shoe less boy in 2011 had less to do with where he came from
how/why did he become vice-president in 2007??
What took him to the exalted post ?

I'm surprised by what some people write on this platform. For christ sake, if you people don't know how the law and nigeria constitution works, it's better listen or keep quiet. There's no way code of conduct has the right to judge any body accept in the law court. If you watch out very well, saraki has done the best thing by not honoring the tribunal because he was not going to get justice there. The chairman code of conduct is acting under a script given to him. Some people are behind the down fall of saraki and that is not democracy. I am not a politician and I don't want to become one. If saraki has declared what he doesn't have, then the code of conduct should take his case to the law court. Only the law court has the right to judge in nigeria and not a mere civil servant who is not a barrister. If it were in oversea country, the chairman code of conduct should be arrested by defying an order.
chaaaaaaaaai..u are so soooooo ignorant.. don't even know where to start with u.. u jes posted nonsense all thru..make I help ur situation small sha,the code of conduct tribunal is a special court with judges of thesame status with federal high court.. Well constitutionally, any court higher than the High court will be an appellate court e.g. Court of appeal, supreme court.

The last time I check CCT was not an appellate court. Constitutionally they are courts of coordinate jurisdiction. Meaning they are parallel (they have the same powers constitutionally). Just on a different wavelength.

Meaning that high court have no power over them and neither do they have any power over high court. They are specialised court.

And Who is this Dump Saraki 's Lawyer?

He should go back to his constitution and read it where it is clearly stated that the CCT and the high court have coordinate jurisdictions. Thus, the high court does not have the power to stop the CCT.

Saraki go and defend yourself. There is no more room for Corrupt people like you in Nigeria

You called the vice president 'A mere Commissioner', betrayed the President, your party and a whole Jagaban & you want to go Scott free? I hope you'd answer that when you go from Senate President to Prison President.

I rest my case grin

The looser has only filed an appeal which will not be heard till Monday. In the meantime, the IG should just obey the subsisting court order and get this criminal arrested already. He must spend the weekend behind bars.

This is one of the major problems with these nefarious criminals... using looted funds to hire expensive SANs to abuse court processes.

Just remember, even judges are now responding to the now famous Body Language. The New Nigeria has no place for you and your ilk.
You can make do with a minutiae of the workings of the law.

The law is not amenable to emotional outbursts or wishful thinking but follows laid down procedures.

At the instance of this appeal by Saraki, the Court of Appeal would mandate all parties to maintain the status quo ante prior to the issuing of bench warrant by the Code of Conduct tribunal. Any other cause of action other than the one canvassed herein would amount to the abuse of court process and therefore ultra vires.

Saraki is a free man for now...

My disappointment at this moment is that we have people on NL who are willing to ignore the very serious charges against Saraki and focus on keeping Saraki in office as Senate President.

Why can't people like Mogidi and Chukudi44 simply call for justice in this case, regardless of their political leanings?

This is what decent and honourable citizens are supposed to do. Folks like this should be ashamed of themselves and should be lined up and lipsrsealed

So you don't know that corruption is the bedrock of Nigeria problem. The unemployment issue that concerns you is the product of corruption, so let everybody who mean well for Nigeria support Buhari administration in fighting the corruption of any form, for rapid development of this Nation.
