And besides, most business centers type a page for 50 naira in my area ( university environs). I just don't want to stress myself moving to and fro. Ladywriter is very correct. I also work on freelancer dot com. In fact, that is my only source of income and it is the only viable source through which i personally sponsor my education. But the idea of making $1000 per month will take you time to achieve. If i can work myself out, i can make $600 in a month. But school work doesn't permit me such "leisure".

i mean no disrespect for you but in my own case, I would ignore such project. $0.5 for 1000 words? That's BS! And insult to all the time people spent in school. So 5000 words will be what? Jehovah! You guys should give writing profession what it deserve.

My advice to people out there, learn technical skills like graphics and website development and you won't have insults like $0.5 for 1000 words. Can you imagine? And you feel you are doing someone a favour right?
And you feel you will get quality out of such article? A case where others charge $50 for same 1000 words? Or even $100?
Do you realise what you are feeling like?
If I should turn yout words on you, I would say it's people like you that are giving article writing a poor reputation.

Hmmm! My bro. I have two cases on my hands now that looks exactly like yours. Dispute is not the best place to start, it dents your profile. The first thing to do is to contact the support desk. They will issue a ticket for you and send the employer a letter on your behalf. Then you get back to the support desk to find out what the employer said. If it is not favourable, go to dispute as your final resort. It is well!

May be you should exercise more patience. Just like Ladywriter said, dispute is a bad thing for your profile, no matter who initiated it. Anything could be the reason for the non payment.

Mine responded today and released my milestone. Discussing further with him, I understood he had been travelling a lot within the past few days. Not just that, he also informed me that he is part of a writing agency, and they do not release milestones until the client who owns the job has paid. This he said, was to make further revisions possible, in case their client did not like your first submission. He said they normally pay their writers monthly.

Anyway, he gave me his agency email address for better communication because he comes on FL only when he has the reason to do so. He hasn't provided feedback for me yet, but I now have the means to reach him quickly.

Just wait for your employer; maybe your story will turn out like mine.
