That was the initial idea of BRT and I don't see anything different between these buses and BRT.
For the mega city status which Lagos craves, we expect that Ambo would go on to complete the rail project fashola began & expand the power generation and supply of the state

It seems Mr. Ambode is out of ideas on how to spend Lagos IGR..
Anyone close to him should pls tell him that vehicles aren't infrastructures, they can improve the cost of living, but the long term economic effect is minimal as its a liability not an asset.
the vehicle is meant for business activity, any income generating activity in a state is an asset to that state. despite the huge revenue on transportation through nurtw, Lagos is still losing billions because the agbero and co will have their share before remittance, often time, remittance is not done through financial institutions but by cash in alausa, imagine the loss daily.

They should include similar IVM product into this too. ITC did it,ebotrans did, abia line is doing it, Nigeria army did it and I believe lagos transport will do.

Try go learn the difference between liability and asset. The buses are for business purpose not for government officials to drive around. It will definitely bring more to the government purse.

So You want those wretched yellow buses to remain?

I'm glad Ambode doesn't think like you.

The most important thing is maintenance. We are really lacking in good maintenance culture.
Many of the BRT buses that were launched some years back are now an eyesore.

do you know that some brt are franchise bought by nurtw. Lagos govt did not renew the licence only because if the attitude of drivers and the way they maintain their buses. that's why you've seen the new blue ac brt

the nurtw are now going solo.

I just hope its not same old danfo drivers that will be using it.After having pounded yam and Egusi soup laced with weed they will jump into this and the rest will be history.

A Cranfield University graduate will always introduce and implement innovative solutions to problems.

If only Buhari studied at Cranfield University instead of graduating with a NEPA bill.

Like for real. He's clean out of ideas. Plus, with the abysmal maintenance record set by LAGBUS, this is not an impressive thought. Why not improve waterways and give tax incentives to companies with staff buses and fewer private cars( so as to reduce traffic).

Why this nonsense? are there not better things for the govt to do? private sector can buy and operate buses. let govt provide roads hospitals and other infrastructure.

Youare actually the one out of ideas. Do you move around in Lagos atallz. By 7pm when most people have closed from work, I see some-many people standing on the kerbs waiting endlessly for bus & I keep asking why LASG isn't investing in transportation when there's so much money to be made there.
Now there's an initiative to improve transport system , you are already quick to criticize. You are totally out of ideas on how to improve a state.

Sory to add this inosson buses that we bought 30pcs, non of the staff will go out in them cos it wunt bring them back to the ofice DPR. Now inoson is sayin we should bring them add some more money and take the biger buses.
In my best opinion innoson should do some reliability test on their vehicles before selling out.if not that company will fall on de long run
