2. Yes, it was a typo - I went back and edited my figures when I found a better source. Fact is we are a bigger player on the global market.

3. Largest =/= best. Nigeria has to grow its economy 2/3 to be as big as ours in relative terms.
3a. South Africa is in the midst of economic recession because of our diversity. There is a commodities crash right now, drought and the end of quantative easing has hit our financial sector. Its a bad period for emerging markets. Even the global role model Chile has been hit hard.

4. No, we got into G20 and BRICS fair and square. You wont be replacing us. Economic contraction happens from time to time in advanced economies. The world knows this.
