IkpuMmadu:

Before the lumping of Igbo ..there were people called Igbo unlike Yoruba that had nothing like Yoruba till Hausa called them Yoruba

There was price called Igbo ...it is historically proved .. we gave towns like Igbo ukwu, igbo eze, obigbo and so many towns that have been there hundreds of years before the white man came and they had igbo prefixes or suffixes

There are people bearing igbo names like
Igbokwe
Igbodindu etc

But you never can say of any Yoruba town that have a yoruba prefix or suffixes
Nor having Yoruba as a surname

There's are things that can't be recent such as surnames

So stop spreading lies
this d most dumb,nonsensical n idiotic post of d begining of d 2nd half of d year.

You need to learn about historical landmarks sir. The last of all the empires were those mentioned of which u can still see their landmarks. Ife, Ugbo, Nok, Zazzau were all ancients kingdoms but alot are subject to assumptions and historical constructs.
Superiority infers others must have something to learn from you and individual achievements cannot be taken as the standard for nation building if such haven't translated to a communal advantage.

I don't know the intention of you shifting and twisting what you have said. But my stand still remains that the NRI kingdom is the most ancient of all in medieval times when Benin empire was founded they offered their services to them until they were conquered in 18th century Oyo fell in 19th century so none saw the 20th century as you once made us to believe. NRI kingdom fall on 19th century after all the kingdom's and empires has been already conquered.

Now coming to what can be learnt from the Igbos to justify what you mean by superior race by influencing proxy.

In tradition and religion, the early Igbos before civilization practised a religion which the British linked to Judaism. If British can learn of their religion do Igbos still need your endorsement to be an influencing race in your own term superior race?

In culture, the Igbos has attracted interested and important icons to study the Igbos culture as they believe is ancient and original. Though must of the cultures has been dropped and new ones added through culture affinities. This is an area people can also venture to understand the spirit behind an Igbo man today.

The business acumen the Igbos command is endearing with anticipation that onlookers are until today are marvelled to the interesting and fascinating apprenticeship magnanimity of the Igbos to themselves. That's how they have managed to pull through after the civil war which temporarily incapacitated them. The approach they used is still a hotspot for people's wifi to connect and seek available and downloadable knowledge.

Now I laugh at your hypocrisy BC is quite shameful at this point.
If according to your irrational thinking that individual achievements doesn't count as a criteria for a superior race, I am in all anxiousness hungry to ask, how can you call a tribe or race superior if records of individual achievements are not known or invalidated?

I don't admire offensive people, please learn to be civilized. I said what shaped the 20th century landmark in Nigeria were majorly those empires that lasted till the western powers came, that resulted from restating my earlier statement because I saw that u misconstrued it to mean what I didn't intended. That's up to u now to digest. Today's Nigeria historical landmarks are shaped largely by Kanem Borno, Oyo, and Benin Empire apart from the Utman Dan Fodio Islamic Emirate.

The Nri kingdom is more ancient like Ife and its full of assumptions that gives rooms to alot of doubt if the fallout is the present Igbo of Eastern Nigeria, may be its like Arabs claiming to be the builder of Egyptian Empires!
Mind you, I believe am discussing with someone who should be learned and not one emotional being. When Philips came up with story of being from Benin, alot of igbo folks treated his position as a taboo, that in itself makes it difficult for anyone to challenge any childish propaganda on historical findings in that part of the country.
I want you to read in between the line because u can only hold me responsible for what I say not what u think. For u to say u are better than I am there must be something I can learn from u, something that must attract me to u, if there's nothing in all facets of life in which u can claim to be better then, what justifies u to b better? You are your own judge sir!
Its not igbo people only that buy and sells in Nigeria, they are not the only people that can lay claims to individuals successes(by implication what I said earlier) but for instance, I respect Germans because not just that they can claim to be astute innovators but have also translated that to nation building in their country and associated sister states. Has the Igbo done that? Has the igbo turned Enugu to the most admired capital in Nigeria, has Nnewi becomes the technological capital of Nigeria? To brag you are better, I want to see your stuffs; economic value chains, political structures, educational advancements, your arts, your historical cultures, your historical relics in the last 500years as a people, achievements of tour empires/kingdoms, your spiritual evolutions etc.
Am not hereto play my people down, but lets be realistic with what we say we are whosoever we may be.

What do I feel about all these? I feel the pan igbo online agitators or historians are looking for ways of validating Igbo ownership and grips on Porthacourt and its territory. While I cannot for a fact dispute or accept their claims, its pertinent that they know that United Nations article recognizes human right which include the right of tribe that owns Porthacourt to be what and who they want to be.
That a group speaks igbo language doesn't necessarily make them Igbo. For example, people in Southern Kaduna speaks Hausa being close to and has acculturated into Hausa doesn't make them Hausa, so, that basis is completely wrong.

I honestly think the igbo country will be determined by what groups stand to gain if they should be part of it and not by a forcefully coercing people because they dress or speak igbo, that's will be a reflection of lack of cosmopolitan civilization in that part of the country.

What makes a race or ethnic group superior? Without any unreasonable debate I think such people will have with them at least 200 years or more of civilization, empire, human advancements, cosmopolitan culture and linguistics, what do writers of those books had to show for it?

The truth is that in the last 600 years in the areas now called Nigeria, only three major empires lasted into the 20th century; The Kanen Borno, Oyo and Benin Empires.
There are smaller kingdoms though like Tsoede, Jukun. I believe superior people should demonstrate superior organization, governance, commerce, historical relics and linguistic standardization.
In the event of a Nigeria disintegration which I do not hope for really, the Igbo may find it incapable of earning the trust of their neighbors and actually cone up with a much smaller country except they wish to wage decades of protracted wars that may work against it in the long run.

igbo superiority should be showing in today's Nigeria by leading in cutting edge technologies, medical advancements, political sagacity, cosmopolitan developments and in faith or religious evolutions, alas these aren't so, so on what basis is igbo superiority based? Africans are struggling and its a general stuffs, the igbo aren't better and in fact, have political structural challenges and are in most cases find it difficult to evolve a communal based human developmental ideas over individuals desires, now that's an African problem and igbo is not exempted may be even in a deeper quagmire.

You are speaking of facts and logical reasoning to people who didn't finish primary school?

You just allow them live in their delusion of granduer. World over the most rich and cosmopolitan areas are ones that allow different tribes mingle and do trade without intimidation and daily talk of "we are superior than you" ;when we know all men were created equal.

I truly don't know what they are celebrating and masturbating over. The human race is moving towards newer technologies and taking their people out of poverty, reducing crime and violence, hatred but what do these people preach?

It would be better you siddon and look at them. Theirs is a symptom of years of delusion. You can never reason with them.

Most have never left their enclaves and even if they have, respect and decorum is never in their dictionaries. They only see the negativity in others and suffer serious self esteem issues. So how do you expect them to behave?

there's nothing as painful as watching an African tribe boast about cheap achievements when we all know how backward we are in Africa.

That's not the criteria and stop being foolish.

That an African tribe couldn't achieve a feat in Africa but can achieve such outside Africa. Europe or America should have made a right thinking man put on his thinking cap.

We all have already known that something is wrong in Africa and somewhere in Africa there set of minds is to marginalise and threaten a set of people that a nation is not negotiable... what kind of mental slavery is that? And you think Africa can come in terms and challenge other continents? Africa think or the west will continue to pick the best from us and developed their place while we hear their scores and boast while Africa is left in deep shit.

is not true my friend ijebus dont. Yorubas were in disagreement more than igbos. By the way, it was hausas they gave them the name yoruba. This is undisputable. The name applied to only those within oyo area until yorubas themselves found it expedient to answer the name as a means of having common identity and having a place in the colonial Nigeria. They didnt even have a single name for their chiefs as we already know.

Some of you fla.th.eads really do have half-brains making it difficult for you to reason properly. Which ijebus are you talking about please?? The Awujale only emphasized that ijebus as well as other Yorubas were already domiciled at Ife long before the coming of Oduduwa, he NEVER DENIED being Yoruba the way Ikweres, ikas, and those igbos at ONELGA/Rivers are doing about their origins. I don't know what versions of history you read or if you were part of the civil war. Biafra received a whole lots of technological transfers, ammunitions and mercenary from France and a couple of other countries, I don't do rantings and I laugh at people making such points as yours.
ingenuity cannot die out because its innate, how could you have argued that someone tried to kill your brain or products?
Whatever the Igbo does today is after effect of what she learnt through such helps received during d war.Am not saying we are or igbo aren't good or trying, but to say you are ahead in cutting edge technology make me see u as an ignorant (with all due respect). Innoson is a fabricating plant in partnership with Asian company, like many Nigerians doing great things abroad like Philip and many doing well in Nigeria the truth is, Nigeria is still a developing country and the igbo country isn't the most developed part yet, igbo ingenuity must put their abode as the best for all to accept that superiority.

Take for instance, I chose to attend Stanford after graduate degree in Nigeria because I believe studying more there will help me know more about the subject matter, lets say I could do that in a Federal uni in the East, at least I should be able to to that in a state uni since their lecturers should be the best.i hope u get me.

France and Israel support for Biafra was purely moral and financial, not building rockets for them.. and certainly not supplying such as well or how could they have done that with sea and air blockade? National war museum is there if you are still in doubt

Talk of support, the Gowon government had it all and yet they never built any thing
the very best of Nigerian army division are located in the north and west still

when you think of Genuine industrial ingenuity (not imported) one still can't look beyond Aba and Nnewi in the east.

when I talk of space, there has been deliberate attempt to strangle the southeast economically.. by making sure we have no access to the (one of the things the Op highlighted) sea, making sure we never had a viable international airport when other regions have theirs...
we have been allotted five-state region while others have more, you still can't see the evil of Nigerian system?
or you forgot about #20pounds?

can you have the best of school when you don't have an economy to start with?
policies are made from center not state.
the school you mentioned are sustained with endowment fund-you see the link?

Pls i never uploaded any map. I just saw something that i felt interesting and would want you reacted to it. Again, base on your assertion of "administer-ability" as being the reason for the alleged grouping by the colonial masters,i had want to quickly point out that i never saw ogoni,Annang, etc, that are also closer to Igbo people,in that map.why was it so?. Again, does it mean those white people that drew this map,was actually trying to administer to "Igbo people" alone, before they came up with that map?.

*These ones are by-questions*
1. What do you tag "linguistic similiarity"?. Please answer with instances.
2. Whats the difference between "linguistic similiarity" and "linguistic variation"?. Cite instances pls.
3.In my language,we av' Amah,Urara,Ikpe,Ekwere,Abia,Udoh, etc,Igbo people has same.In the light of Questions 1& 2,kindly state if the aforementioned words are "linguistic similiarities" or "Linguistic variation".
4.whats the difference between Nation and ethnicity?. I will step aside and wait for your response. *And again*
5. What is the difference between language and dilect?.

On a neutral note;
-Take into cognizance that this map is 1903 map.
-Long before 1914 amalgamation.
-Long before Nigerian oil politics.
-Long before the civil war,and its aftermath!.

1) pls quote me properly. I used the word seemingly. It is from the adjective seeming which means
: outwardly or superficially evident but not true or real.

The British did not do a deep study of the languages of Ikwerre and Igbo to determine if they were truly samr, it was not even necessary to them, they were in Africa purely on economic purposes and rounding up people into nearest tribes is very handy.

2) Linguistic similarity is the quality or state in which linguistics can be said to be similar while linguistic variation is the extent to which or the range in which linguistics vary.

3) i don't get your point.

4) Nation: a community of people composed of one or more nationalities and possessing a more or less defined territory and government

Ethnicity : is the distinct ethnic affiliation or group

5) Language simply put is the words, their pronunciation, and the methods of combining them used and understood by a community.

Dialect is a regional variety of language distinguished by features of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation from other regional varieties and constituting together with them a single language.

Stop saying things you know nothing about. The Hausas aren't the ones that called the Yorubas Yoruba. Provide a link to your bogus claim.

As for Yorubas not having any town named Yoruba or with Yoruba prefix like the igbos have it in igbo ukwu, that is just a funny notion of yours. Do you expect the Yorubas to name their towns according to how the igbos do? We have our own ways which we follow. The names like surulere, ajegunle, ijesha, ikoyi etc are all towns in Lagos named after Yoruba towns in other parts of southwest.

Can you mention one Hausa town that has Hausa as a name or prefix?

Yoruba is a bastardised word for Yoruba

The Yoruba (Yorùbá in Yoruba orthography) are one of the largest ethno-linguistic groups in sub-Saharan Africa. Yoruba constitute about 21 percent of the population of modern day Nigeria, and they are commonly the majority population in their communities. Many of the Yoruba in West Africa live in the states of Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo, making these political areas decidedly in the control of the numerically superior Yoruba.

While Yoruba can be found throughout the entirety of West Africa, even reaching into Benin, Ghana, and Togo, the greatest concentration of Yoruba is found in Yorubaland, an area in western Nigeria. Considered the nexus of the Yoruba cultural identity, Yorubaland is bordered by the Borgu (variously called Bariba and Borgawa) in the northwest, the Nupe and Ebira in the north, the Ẹsan and Edo to the southeast, and the Igala and other related groups to the northeast.

Yoruba, Or Yoruba
country west east dahomey lagos region south

YORUBA, or Yoruba, a country of West Africa, occupying the eastern half of the Slave Coast region in 6°-9° N. lat. and 3°-7° E. long. Taken in its widest sense, so as to include the whole domain of the Yoruba race and speech, the Yoruba country stretches from the Bight of Benin northwards in the direction of the unexplored region of Borgu, and from tile ill-defined eastern frontier of Dahomey to the Niger and its delta, which enclose it on the northeast, east, and south-east. Within these limits it covers an area of at least 40,000 square miles, with a population roughly estimated at over 2,000,000. But since 1820-21, when the old Yoruba empire was broken up by the Fulah invaders, the northern part, comprised between the Niger and the water-parting of the streams flowing north to that river and south to the Gulf of Guinea, has been included in the Fulah state of Gando. This water-parting, which constitutes the main physical feature of the land, is formed by the eastern continuation of the mountain range which in the Mali country, north of Dahomey, appears to rise to over 6000 feet (Skertchley), but which in Yoruba gradually falls to considerably under 2000 feet. But towards the east, about the upper course of the river Oshun, the system again rises to what is described as "a very mountainous country " (Higgins and Smith). The city of llorin, near the northern slope of the divide, stands at an elevation of a little over 1300 feet, which is probably about the average height of the range in Yoruba. Gerhard Rohlfs, who in 1867 traversed the whole region from Ilabba on the Niger to Lagos on the Gulf of Guinea, describes the section north of the water-parting as an open, gently sloping, and highly cultivated plain, to which the profusion of flowering plants gives the aspect of a vast garden. Here abundant crops of cereals, cotton, yarns, ground-nuts, and kola nuts are raised. South of the divide the land, which is intersected by the nearly parallel courses of the rivers Ogun, Omi, Oshun, Oni, and Oluwa, falls in continuous undulations down to the coast, the open cultivated ground gradually giving place in the same direction to forest tracts, where the most characteristic tree is the oil-palm. Flowering trees and shrubs are here also plentiful, while the chief cultivated plants are corn, yams, plantains, bananas, tobacco, cotton, •ro, groundnuts, and ata-i7e yielding a yellow dye (Higgins and Smith). As the sea is approached, the wooded tracts merge almost everywhere in a broad zone of dense primeval forest, completely separating the arable lands of the interior from the coast lagoons.

These lagoons, lying between the outer surf-beaten beach and the inner shore line, form a navigable highway of still waters, which in many places is several miles in extent. During the dry season the rivers discharging into the lagoons are unable to force a passage seawards ; but after the rains they find an outlet, now at one point now at another, while here and there the natives themselves often excavate passages for their boats between the inner and outer waters. Of all the lagoons the most extensive are those of Leckie in the east and Ikoradu (Lagos) in the west. At its northern extremity the latter receives the discharge of the Ogun, the largest river in Yoruba, whose current is strong enough to keep the seaward channel open throughout the year. Hence the great importance of the British port of Lagos, which lies in smooth water at the inner entrance of this channel.

From Lagos, which, besides Badagry (about 40 miles farther west), it the only station actually occupied by England on this coast, the British Government exercises a sort of benevolent suzerainty over the whole of the Yoruba country. In 18S6 it despatched to the inland tribes two commissioners (Higgins and Smith) for the purpose of bringing to a close the intertribal wars by which the country had for years been wasted, and also of inducing the chiefs to give up the practice of human sacrifices, which, as in Dahomey and Ashantee, though to a less degree, has always prevailed throughout this region. The commissioners obtained and embodied in their reports (Blue Books, 1887) a considerable amount of information regarding the present political and social condition of the Yoruba peoples. Since the dismemberment of their empire by the Fulahs (1820-21) the country has been divided into a number of semi-independent states, chieftaincies, or kingdoms, hanging loosely together, or rather constantly at war, and with a feeble sense of common nationality. The direct representative of the old Yoruba power is the " alafin " or king of the Yoruba country proper, occupying the northern and central parts of the whole region. Round about this central state are grouped the kingdoms of llorin, ljesha, Ife, and Ondo in the east, Mahin and John in the south, and Egba in the west. The alafin resides at Oyo, on a headstream of the Oshun, a place which as metropolis of the Yoruba nation has succeeded the older capitals, Bohn. and Ratunga, lying farther north and destroyed during the wars with time Fulahs. Oyo has an estimated population of 70,000 or 80,000 ; but it is greatly exceeded in size by several other places in Yoruba Land, where for mutual protection the inhabitants have mainly grouped themselves in large walled towns. Thus have sprung up the great cities of Abeokuta (200,000 ?), capital of Egba, on the Ogun, due north of Lagos ; lbtidan (150,000), on a branch of time Omi, 30 miles south of Oyo ; florin (200,000 ?), one of the great markets of West Africa, capital of the florin state ; Ogbomosho (60,000), between Oyo and florin ; Ejigbo (40,000), Ilobu (60,000), and lkirun (60,000), following successively nearly due cast from Oyo ; Ilesha (40,000), Oshogbo (60,000), and Ede (50,000), following each other due west in the Ilesha state; Ipetumodu (40,000), in Ife ; Ode Ondo (60,000), capital of Ondo ; Jebu Ode (60,000), Epe (40,000?), and Lagos (75,000), in the Jebu state and British protectorate. The constitution of some of these great urban groups is most remarkable. Thus Abeokuta, dating from 1825, owes its origin to the incessant inroads of the slave-hunters from Dahomey and Ibilan, which compelled the village populations scattered over the open country to take refuge in this rocky' stronghold against the common enemy. Here they constituted themselves a free confederacy of some sixty distinct tribal groups, each preserving the traditional customs, religious rites, systems of government, and even the very names, of their original villages. Yet this apparently incoherent aggregate has since held its ground successfully against the powerful armies often sent against the place both by the king of Dahomey from the west and by the people of Iblidan from the east. The different tribes are clearly distinguished by their several tattoo markings, usually some simple pattern of two or more parallel lines, disposed horizontally or vertically on both cheeks or other parts of the face.

Notwithstanding their political feuds, the Yoruba people are distinguished above all the surrounding races for their generally peaceful disposition, love of industry, friendliness, and hospitality towards strangers. Physically they resemble closely their Ewe and Dahomey neighbours, but are of somewhat lighter complexion, taller, and of less pronounced Negro features. Their superior intelligence is shown in their greater susceptibility to Christian and Mohammedan influences, their capacity for trade, and their remarkable progress in the industrial arts. Although the bulk of the nation is still pagan, Islam has made great advancement sumac the cessation of the Fulah wars, while Protestant and Roman Catholic missions have been at work for many years at Abeokuta, Oyo, lbadan, and other large towns. Samuel Crowther, the first Negro bishop, who was distinguished as an explorer, geographer, and linguist, was a native of Yoruba, rescued by the English from slavery and educated at Sierra Leone.

Although agriculture is time chief industry, such useful arts as pottery, weaving, tanning, dyeing, and forging are practised in all the towns. The people make their own agricultural implements, extract a palatable wine from the Raplaa vinifera, and weave a stout cotton fabric, which was formerly exported to Brazil, but which can now scarcely stand the competition of cheaper Manchester goods even in the home market. But as builders the Yorubas know no rivals in Negroland. The houses of the chiefs, often containing as many as fifty rooms, are constructed with rare. skill, and tastefully decorated with carvings representing symbolic devices, fabulous animals, and even scenes of war or the chase.

Before time introduction of letters the Yorubas are said to have employed knotted strings, like the Peruvian quipus, for recording events of historic interest. Their language, which has been reduced to writing and carefully studied by Crowther, Bouche, Bowen, and other missionaries, is spoken with considerable uniformity thronghout the -whole of the Yoruba domain, and has even penetrated with the enterprising native traders as far east as Eano in the Baum& country beyond the Niger. The best-known dialectic varieties are those of Egba, John, Ondo, Ife, florin, and Oyo (Yoruba proper, called also Nago) ; but the discrepancies are slight, while the divergence from the conterminous linguistic groups (Ewe in the west, Ibo, Nupe, and others in the east) appears to be fundamental.

The most marked feature is astrong tendency towards monosyllabism, which has been produced by phonetic dewy, and which, as in the Indo-Chinese family, has given rise to the principle of intonation, required to distinguish words originally different but reduced by corruption to the condition of homophones. Besides the tones, of which there are th•ee,---high, low, and middle, - Yoruba has also developed a degree of vocalic harmony, in which, as in Ural-Altaic, the vowels of the affixes are assimilated to that of the mot. Inflexion, as in Bantu, is effected chiefly by prefixes; and there is a remarkable power of word-formation by the fusion of several relational elements in a single compound term. The Bible and several religious treatises have been translated into Yoruba, w

Don't you actually see the flaw in that argument of yours? A people speak Igbo (or a dialect closely related to Igbo) as their ancestral language and have Igbo surnames. Surely this must tell you these are people who descended from a common ancestry. Our surnames are like DNA handed down by our ancestors. There maybe Ijoid tribes that adopted European names but that is a different matter. So how can someone have the surname Wike ( Nwa-Ike), Wanjoku (Nwanjoku) and Wanny (Nwa-Ani) and there is still any argument about their ancestry? Because they didn't add the 'N'? If Ikwerre like, they can claim to be descendants of the American Red Indians. If Ogba likes, they can claim to be from Soweto. Anyone can make any claim they like and be whatever they want to be but no one should make up stories or lies in the process. Igbo n'abughi Igbo is as stupid as it sounds.

Igbo bu Igbo mma mma nu! Whoever agrees is a true Igbo son. Forget those people that disagree for they have their reasons. Most importantly I don't believe they have anything to add to Igbo nation.

I am actually from etche and i not surprised to see this, even though I was brought up with the mentality that i am not igbo, I always felt a close affinity to them, because that was the closest thing my language sounded like.

Identity crisis exists in Igboland especially among some Igbo communities in the South-South region of Nigeria. Igbo leaders should solve this problem fundamentally by declaring that all Igbo communities in the South-South should be merged together with the South-East region. Igbo leaders should make this demand a top priority and work together to achieve the goal.

Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe foresaw the present predicament in 1949 when he said, "The only worthwhile stand we can make as a nation is to assert our right to self-determination, as a unit of a prospective Federal Commonwealth of Nigeria and the Cameroons, where our rights will be respected and safeguarded. Roughly speaking, there are twenty main dialectal regions in the Ibo nation, which can be conveniently departmentalized as Provinces of an Ibo State, to wit: Mbamili in the northwest, Aniocha in the west, Anidinma and Ukwuani in the southeast, Nsukka and Udi in the north, Awgu, Awka and Onitsha in the centre, Ogbaru in the south, Abakaliki and Afikpo in the northwest, Okigwi, Orlu, Owerri and Mbaise in the east, Ngwa, Bende, Abiriba Ohafia and Etche in the southwest. These Provinces can have their territorial boundaries delimited, they can select their capitals, and then can conveniently develop their resources both for their common benefit and for those of the other nationalities who make up this great country called Nigeria and the Cameroons.

"Let us establish an Ibo State, based on linguistic and ethnic factors, enabling us to take our place side by side with the other linguistic and ethnic groups which make up Nigeria and the Cameroons."

The Eze of Asaba, Professor Chike Edozien with great wisdom and intelligence advised Igbo politicians to work towards unifying all Igbo communities into one geopolitical zone. Professor Edozien actually laid out conditions he believes will cement Igbo unity permanently. He called on the people of the South-East zone to support the creation of Anioma State and another for Igbo-speaking people of Rivers State to make for seven states, all of which will be lumped together in one zone or region.

Map or No Map!

The bitter truth is that an Igbo, Ijaw,Itsekiri, Ikwerre, Okrika and Urhobo man can never leave together in harmony. No two of the listed will stay together as one. #BitterTruth

The Earlier Igbo`s know that they re just spearheading a secession for the Niger-Deltans, the better. The South-South will NEVER go with them but rather have there own Federation too.
