Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has warned electorates in Ondo State not to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming governorship election.

The governor, who said the party was not a good option for people of the state, boasted that if he stopped talking about the current government, Nigerians would suffer.

Fayose gave this advice on a radio programme in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.

He said the APC government had failed the people of Nigeria in the last one year of its rule.

He said, “Don’t let me deceive you my people in Ondo State, don’t allow the APC to take over this state, if you allow them, your condition would be worse than what you are passing through now, their government would be a disaster for you.

“They have nothing to offer, all they know is propaganda, you can see what is happening in Nigeria now, if you vote for them what they are doing at the national level is what they would be doing here. You can see what is happening in all the states they are controlling.

“Look at our condition in Nigeria, our condition is getting worse on daily basis, they have no solution to the economic problem facing the nation currently, yet they say they want to take over your state, I enjoined you, don’t allow them, they have nothing to offer.

“If I stop talking, Nigerian masses will suffer, a government without an opposition will not do anything, they want to shut me up, but I will not stop talking, let them continue to abuse me, I don’t mind.

“I am not attacking the President, I don’t hate the President but what I have been saying is the truth and they too know I am saying the truth. I am saying the truth so that the President can do things that will benefit the people of this country. All of us cannot keep quite.”

Ride on Fayose, constructive criticism is allow since opposition is the salt of democracy.
Meanwhile, we are bringing change to the people of Ondo State dole and there is nothing anybody can do to stop it.

Fayose in reality is a lizard, but sees himself as a crocodile. I do not know what makes him think his noise has been helping matters..Even before buhari got that ear infection, he has not been hearing the noise from this Ekiti talking drum.

Haba! Wetin na! now this is annoying. I innocently made a mistake, corrected it and apologized. I believe it should end there. Plus we all(muslims & Christaians) respect Jesus Christ and believe in his second coming to save us, so what point are u trying to make sef? Was jonathan not called "jesus christ" of otuoke without any other thing attached to it? I called Fayose "jesus christ" of ekiti cos he said without his noise, we will all suffer. This was in quote and was changed the moment OKDNigeria raised it, so why trying to raise dust from a river? Abeg make u free me joor! angry

I just pity Fayose. He thinks he's a courageous man. His fans think he is a courageous man. IPOB yooths think he is a courageous man. But there is a very fine line between courage and stupiidity. A man who has got so many scandals and accusations hanging on his head forming 'strong man' and taking on the President and his wife. If he was clean then I would be the first to call him courageous and strong. But I call him fooolish. He is trying to come to equity, but he's coming with soiled hands. By the time the might of the federal government descends on you, these IPOB yooths urging and cheering you on will desert you, like they did dilector!

Fayose should not stop talking. All the other governors are only keeping quiet in the name of playing the good boy. But we know why they are keeping quiet. They are keeping quiet because they have rubbed the pocket of their respective states and not because they are not seeing that the way this government is going is not in the interest of all of us. Let them keep quiet.

Our Fayose is the voice of the one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord and make his path straight.
