When I was a sincere agnostic guy, what made me to believe in God was that I tried to ask myself questions like this. And I tried to answer it with a definite UNBIASED mind. Not, that I don't want God to be true, but just that I WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH. That was when I knew how foolish my agnostic life was.

The problem with some atheists is just that they don't answer questions like this with an unbiased mind. Rather, they answer it with a biased mind, because THEY DON'T WANT AN OPPOSITE VIEW TO APPEAR AS THE TRUTH. So for that they try to give themselves answers that can SUBDUE the truth ringing up in their conscience.
