According to Vanguard newspaper: Nigeria has earned a total of N96.212trillion in 58years of crude oil sales.
Jonathan's government earned N51trillion (more than half of our 58yrs earnings) in 5yrs!
Obasanjo and Yaradua , in 11yrs, earned a combined sum of N36trillion and saved $63billion(N24trillion) in our foreign reserve.
Jonathan and his demons depleted that reserve to $30billion (N11trillion) after earning half of our 58yrs earning!
Simple mathematics shows that;
Jonathan and his blood sucking demons squanderred a whooping N64trillion in 5years with nothing to show

I don't need to read someone else's distortion of the truth like you senseless zombies whose senses seem to have evaporated.

I am a Nigerian who lives in Nigeria, and my senses are intact and upgraded enough to see and experience things as they are.

Nigeria declined rapidly when the dullard became president. This Nigeria we are in presently is a far cry from what it was in the beginning of last year and if you cannot see that then I fear you have mush for brains.
I am not a supporter of pmb or gej in fact i was a strong supporter of Gani Fawehinmi and his party before he died but when things are bad you just dont point accusing fingers without knowing d underlying causes: for example, pmb met a tiny reserve, the price of crude oil which is the mainstay of our economy has fallen drastically, increase in terrorism, etc.dont think with your belly or be a binary thinker like a child, think like an analyst, comment like an elite and thank me later.

Good one but do you know the price of crude oil was much higher during the campaign period? so how could they have predicted this disaster? it was sudden.the only economical blunder pmb can commit & I wont 4giv is if he fails to diversify the economy like his predecessors.

petroleum products are expensive because of the cost of refining crude oil and transporting it.

Just like you disgraced yourself in your CNN interview that stealing is not corruption, you have serious morality issues that you can hardly separate right from wrong.
You may be an Election Ambassador world over, but back home in Otuoke, you are just a glorified POSh!t.

Whose fault is it if he pleases some people at the detriment of others? was that the oath he swore when he was elected into office? what delayed him from resigning if the pressure was too much for him? i'm sure others would have gladly taken his place.there is no excuse for depleting our foreign reserve despite generating trillions.in my opinion contemporary nigerian politics is a failure and I can point out many of pmb's fault too but that doesn't justify gej in anyway HE IS A FAILURE

It is very obvious even to the blind.

Rice - 19,000 bag.
Indomie hungry man - 150
Pure water - 10 satchet
Dollar - 405 to Naira
Garri - 700 paint bucket
Fuel - 145 per liter

What other evidence do you need?

Jonathan should also remind Nigerians and the whole World that:

Obasanjo earned #17trn from Crude Oil sales within 8years of his administration, left an External FOREX reserve of $45Billion and an External Debt of $3.348.

Yar Ardua earned #9trn from Crude Sales and grew the External FOREX reserve Obasanjo left, from $45 Billion, to $64 Billion within ONE YEAR!
Just as it was able to finance 15 months of imports during the period of serious economic recession of 2008/2009.
Yar Ardua was able to manage the country and Nigeria survived the melt down
Despite all these Yar Ardua left $47.7 Billion in our External FOREX reserve and an external debt of $3.94 Billion

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration witnessed a boom in the price of Crude Oil averaging over $100 per barrel, hitting an all time high of $130 over some years!

Jonathan's regime earned #51trn in 5yrs (OBJ = #17trn, Yar Ardua #9trn)!
Due to unparalleled CORRUPTION, Jonathan squandered all the External FOREX reserve left by Yar Ardua, he further squandered all the huge earnings from unprecedented crude sales during his tenure while at the end of his administration, he has depleted Yar Ardua's savings of $47.7 billion to #32 Billion and a HUGE DEBT of $63 Billion!

These are FACTS that anyone can verify.

If this is what Jonathan calls 'the best Govt', then we can conclude that as usual, it is inline with his "America will know" and "I am not aware" positions on national issues, when he was President.

Nigerians are suffering for the SQUANDER of Jonathan Govt who bankrupted Nigeria's economy, something Buhari and Nigerians have to cope with.

When Nigerians say "Never Again", they are referring to a Govt the type of Jonathan.

Yes they sued him because they claimed they needed the funds in their states.who sued obj or umy for saving? no one,why because they took care of their responsibilities before thinking of saving not after embezzling most of the money.GEJ made above #50tr during his tenure from crude oil so what could warrant sueing him? anyway thanks for bringing it to my notice, i had to confirm it.

excuses, excuses, you people keep finding excuses and where you cant find, you make them up.

Crude oil did not begin falling after PMB became president. It had been falling since early 2014, yet we barely felt the impact.

Terrorism, we all know where that began from and why it began and why it is now seemingly going away. Buhari was nominated as the preferred spokesperson for Boko haram, was he not? That says it all.

Yes, our reserves were depleted but dont you think investing in the economy to boost it up to the point that it became the largest in Africa would need money? You think it was done for free or done by magic? Then the dullard came in and it all crumbled to dust in less than a year. I guess he should be congratulated for that.

Atleast even if Jonathan did not do much , the little he didn't do that we were enjoying Buhari has come and destroyed it all. Millions of jobs lost, many businesses closed, food prices have skyrocketed to the point that people are exchanging their children for food. Etc.

You named underlying factors and one of them isn't the obvious confusion of this present government with their trial and error policies that wrecked harm to the economy?

Or that PMB wasted the first few months doing nothing and then appointed Ministers who don't seem to understand their job description? Recently, the Minister of environment was in Morocco brokering a trade deal? What's that? Has the Minister of trade and investment been relieved of his duties? Is there something we don't know?

Look, it's not by attaching one fancy name to yourself like elite thinker abi a smellite thinker.....Anyway what do we expect from someone who is still supporting a dead, long buried and decayed party?

If you claim not to be a zombie and you want to think, then think deep and be truthful to yourself. The simple summary is things were not bad until president Buhari. Simple.

assuming thats correct because many sources peg it at $48 per barrel, the difference is still so much sir; over 60% reduction, imagine a person's salary being reduced by over 60% and you expect that person to spend and perform like he used to even when he as an insubstancial saving.thats the plight of Nigeria.
