Do you have folks that club? And hope you aren't the judgemental type, because left to me, clubbing is one major way of breaking loose the chain of introversion. Go to clubs regularly.(with people).

Yeah, and reduce the amount of time you spend online. Or on social media, make it a must you at least visit a friend in a week. And make sure it is a sincere friend.

Sincerely speaking, been an introvert is not nomal, One day you will seat down and look at life and you will find out that you are like a spectator in it, you get to miss a lot of oppurtunities, experiences, and good people, i am typing this from my trip to cotonue, people i dont know from adam really took care of me, feeding, hotel room, transportation, advices, prayers and love, i just enjoy life because i am involved, infact i coind a word there.( He who goes striaght never gets lost~ Charles N.)
i use to be an introvert and people accused me of been proud but when i understood that i was losing i loosen up, i can walk up to any body and talk to him or her, Life is sweet when u loosen up and transmutate with people.

I'm very friendly, people always say I have a pure heart. Just that I prefer being alone to myself if I could. I like entertainments, fun, and everything that makes a human feel good. My body just shuts it out though it loves it. My friends have to beg me to leave the house sometimes, it's that bad.

Whenever I plan to go out I panic, visiting someone I panic also. Only person I can go out with is my very good male friend, apart from him I stay indoors 24/7. Once I make friendship with someone they always wants more from me which automatically makes me more introverted especially if the said person is too loud and likes outing a lot. I prefer a quiet place, nice small fun with just very few crowd. I can talk eh, I talk a lot lol. That's why people wonder really I can talk.

I can relate somewhat to what you are saying.I have periods when i actually enjoy my own company , i am not lonely nor am i alone.People are different that is what makes us unique and interesting. The unfortunate thing is our society has expectations when it comes to gender. Do you have a friend(s)? it is not mandatory either. Its about getting a balance going out when its perhaps not too busy , and it does not have to be at parties either. There is NOTHING abnormal about preferring your own company. We are not clones.Embrace your individuality focus on your career life is not a race its a journey.

I can relate to your personality. It's obvious that you're a highly sensitive person not necessary an introvert. However, out of prejudice, petty people will always mistake you for a miserable, evil, rude and gutless person, whereas in reality you're a direct opposite of all such negativities they held against you - anyone who have had the rare privilege to earn your close association will testify your goodness. You abhor hypocrisy, right?

I don't know the right section to post this but I really need to know cos I'm tired already so forgive me.

I'm in my early twenties, I'm the kind of girl that just love being alone with herself. I don't go clubbing, don't go to parties( except I don't have a choice and I'm being forced by my mother, marriage tinx)

I have few friends, just 4 I share deep emotional matters with. I'm always alone when at home, in fact I get excited about it.

I have never visited anyone this year, except on 2 occasions. Only 2 have visited me also, I close from work straight home and sleep, read novels or watch movie.

I like social stuff but too much of it kills me, makes me shy and tired. Now I'm at my aunt's house, I've been inside my room since Saturday, I only come out to do house chores. This is my personality but I feel people don't understand.

My aunt just had a talk with me right now that I keep myself from people, and it's getting me mad cos I didn't think it that way.

Nairalanders, please am I too introverted or what? Is there something I'm missing? Please.
