I can only argue with, if you're in SA but if not...
Fight cannot be happening in Osodi and you're claiming there's fight in all over Nigeria.
I still went to Central to do my police affidavit and clearance still go to BLK to enjoy myself on Friday with my SA friends.
We are not disputing the facts that there's no xenophobia attacks but in an area where you have concentrated Ita, Obozz, Agbero, Omota, Ashewos, hardcore criminals, friends of criminal cops, drug lords and pikins and there customers. All been overhyped.
Note: If you're a good manner person or students and or living legally in SA you'll not even stay there.

I said this in 2015, but na small small, this is just a reflection of the failed government in SA and xenophobia will only get worse

Please has anyone received package from SAQA? here in Nigeria? How many days does it take to get it here in Nigeria, they said it is within 4-6days pls anyone to corroborate this?

Hello I did mine but not here in Nigeria. I send someone my documents and everything to do it for me. The estimated time for saqa is 1month with fasting and prayer.. go to the courier service u sent it and ask them if the package has reached SA. If yes follow it up with email and calling.. because sometimes it takes time for them to pick it up from their saqa mailbox in Pretoria

What exactly is your point SA, SAfricans are fighting against foreign drug lords, criminals and illegal immigrants in their country.
Nigerians in Nigerians are fighting against themselves, Igbo fighting against Yoruba, Yoruba fighting against Hausa.

In SA, it's Xenophobia, in Nigeria, it's tribal war, Fulani and Niger Delta.
Abeg which Government has failed??
If you're not in SA I dont think you have any right to speak ill of the Country, and if you have studied or benefited from their government, you have no right either.

I meant receiving from SAQA not sending to them. My evaluation is complete already and they said they have sent the result via Courier since 24/02/2017. So i want to know if it really takes the 4-6days they proposed. Thanks

Just give it 2weeks. DHL will call you to confirm if you're at home. That you have a package from SAQA.
I had the same panic attack like yours last year. Just wait for 10days maximum after your evaluation completion, you'll receive your certificate.

Still no word from Vfs lagos concerning my application since 3rd of February. Few more days and it will be a month. If its a Study permit I won't be angry, but this is actually poor compared to Abuja.

I got my study visa today, thanks to everyone who helped me in one way or the other on this thread (directly and indirectly). I read it from the very first page and it honestly made my visa application process less stressful than it would have. Once again I thank you all and wish you success in your own applications.

Defend another man's country o, xenophobia is good, support it or rather justify it. Like I say I am a permanent resident of SA and won't close my eyes to the truth. South africans don't want you and I, I have lived there and I know, don't decieve others

Visit any state CID, they will issue it to you after like 3-4 days of your application at their office. That 3-4days will allow them to check your criminal records at lagos provided you have one.

I'm not defending the killing of a fellow African.
Good, you are a permanent resident. So how many legal immigrants have they killed in your city or province??

South Africans don't want you as a foreign national but do you as a Nigerian want your brother from another tribe? that's the question.
If we all unite as one and bridge this tribal gap there won't be any need of visiting their country, studying or even work there.

It's their country, and they have the right to fight against anyone that wants to pollute the sanity or integrity of their country.
That is what we lack as Nigerians.

Lolz...You can do your police character clearance at any state CID office in Nigeria. The state CID will forward your finger prints with your bio-data to force CID headquarters in lagos for assessment and endorsement. It is the force CID who issues the character clearance. Go to your state CID saves you the stress from one state to another. Đo you expect someone living in sokoto state to travel down to lagos because of police report with the nature of Nigeria roads? *No*
FYI, I have collected police report twice in Ibadan and used them for visa processing without any form discrimination from those embassies since it's still signed by Nigerian police force CID headquarters.

Hello. Can someone please give a summary of the processes, documents and fees for a virgin traveller going to SA. I work here in Nigeria and visiting SA for a month course, travel itinery and hotel accomodation taken care of.

Questions
1.Where do i start from? Am I just to go straighf to the embassy? Or can everything be done online?
2. What documents do I need?
3. Must the marriage certificate be from court? The one I have is from religious body.
4. How much balance must at least be in my bank account statement ?
5. Any info about procuring Yellow fever certificate? Can I get it from any hospital?

Ive tried reading through the thread, but the vastness and other discussions in between is making it difficult to grab all i need at once. please provide any other details as current for 2017 visa application.

Thank you very much.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by satihel: 10:12am On Mar 02, 2017
Good morning all
I saw this thread and was encouraged at the level of feedback and successes in visa application.

Please i need help. My husband was denied the south African visa at the Abuja office some time in January 2017. The reason of his visa reques was for a medical residency exchange program at the university of Kwazulu natal SA. We attached the relevant documents and also a letter of invitation from the school describing the details of the program.

In the rejection letter, they stated that if he attempts to re-apply, his application would not be attended to until 6 months from the date the rejection letter was issued. Unfortunately his program has started, and we had paid for his return ticket. This has made us shift his flight with its attendant cost. (very depressing). The reason for rejection were that the documents "not convincing" or credible (PS.All documents were legitimate)

My question is "can we reapply NOW despite the warning stated on the rejection letter. We had called some visa agencies and the feedback were mixed as some said nothing could be done about it until 6 months later and others said we should disregard the warning and reapply. The cost of reapplication and the possible shift in flight is really mind and pocket draining for us.

Kindly advice on what to do please.
