Lol so waka reliefs contractions, I thought it induces it. I want to go to the market and stock up foodstuffs for post delivery days but I don't know if I should still be doing that kinda waka. Before I born market baby You have sha inspired me to give it a shot.

@giddyperson i understand u very well but I live in the UK and had my son in winter - cold i know but u know preg women get hot quicker. Also, like i said earlier i craved ice during my labour and afterwards too. Some people say it is good but after eating ice for 3weeks nonstop pp, i realised it wasnt normal so went to the docs and found i was actually anaemic - u might not be

I wouldnt rule out checking for anaemia anyways cos it also does occur during preg. at least you have a peace of mind

Mama please incompetent cervix is nothing to be joked with. Abeg you in God's name am not trying to scare you but you need to go to the hospital now..if the cervix is opening you can go into labour today. You can read my previous post I wouldn't want you to go through what I did. It is well with you.

How many weeks are you? Please don't joke with it..... Am sure the doctor might place you on bed rest and also there is a procedure usually done to close the mouth of the cervix in a case like this. It's called cervical cerclage, it prevents you from going into labor untimely hence stop premature birth. It will be removed when you are due for delivery. Though it might be expensive but it's worth it. You might be told to stop sex for now. Please follow the doctors prescription, it will end in praise dear. All will be well

Hi teamie, how are you doing. Yes it's based on lmp cuz that's what my doctor is using. My last scan said EDD is 3rd April tho, but I'd rather just count down to the farthest date so that I don't frustrate myself and know anything can happen before then.

Even me too am using LMP cos the way scan is fluctuating can confuse somebody. My Doc asked last wk if I would like 2 be induced, I said bring it on...He has given lo grace of 2wks

Be strong my main teamie, God get ur back. Please go to doctor for cerclage, don't waste time . Avoid every form of stress now, if possible stop entering bike 4 now.

You should try see your doctor as soon as possible. When I went for scan the sonographer notice my cervix was measuring 2.1 @ 25weeks. I had to be on bedrest for some weeks with lots of prayers and it rose back up, of which transvaginal scan confirmed. thank Jesus! So please see your doctor so he can tell you the next step. Don't stress yourself at all just lie down. I pray everything is fine, there shall be no loss. In Jesus name.

Don't worry much God is with u and u shall carry lo to term, as other maamas have advised try n see your doc asap..U need rest

Dosnt av a definite cause oo...could be stress, could be sumfin unknown...could be what u are eating...or even Lack of rest, u would av to go for a cerclage..but ist of all I fink u shd be on strict bed rest.... For like a week and see if ur cervix will close back...while on d bed rest...dnt use a pillow for ur head Instead use like 2 or 3 pillows to raise ur buttocks and legs up so ur baby can move upwards ur chest kind of... This is to relieve ur cervix of d weight of d baby and see if it can close back....reduce d way u stand...u shd only stand to pee or poo or eat or bath...b4 u opt for d bed rest tho...see ur gynae so that he can prescribe antibiotics for d opening cervix in case of infection...and run sum test to see if u cn find out the cause...if u are eating anyfin that isn't gud for u stop it plz, eg pineapple, food with potash...etc...can mk u start dilating...in case u are on bed rest while on it..u will need lots of prayer, read ur bible use Gods word on ur life and that of ur lo...let hubby also pray for u too... Anyfin can happen...I had incompetent cervix too I fink at 18 or 17wks ...my cervix was measuring 1.5cm but after 1wk+ sum days strict bed rest...(four days in d hospital for test and checkup) my cervix closed and was measuring 4.2cm closed...my gynae couldn't believe it...I was always eating abacha and pineapple... So I stayed away from it...I just started eating pineapple now that am 37 to 38wks bcs am ready to birth my lo....plz see ur gynae as soon as possible.

U should oo..I did my market waka last week...made 4 soups...I no get choice....will continue tomorrow and finish it on Saturday

Is it prohibited to eat it from ur place or u people dnt just like eating it? I would av said u shd goan mk d okro and buy d crab oo and eat ooo....so the craving can die off or prepare to cry for a very long time oo...lol craving to me be like taking cocaine ooo...if I dnt eat what I crave it will look like I want to kpeme

story of my life in my 1st preggy journey,started craving okro soup that I have eaten only twice in my life.I would cook it with only crayfish,lick all of it n go to a blissful sleep.Dh will call me from work to find out whether there's food for normal ppl,lol,or to jejely eat before coming home with my Abacha of course ,for one good month.
Afterbirth,you dare not bring okra soup near me cos it greatly repulses me.pregnancy will make you hate what you luved and luv what you hated.

Yesterday I drank zobo don't know if it's d cause, God help me. The worst is that I feel just ok, no pain no cramp. Just lo running around.

Good to hear from u. Am consoled and I will try and do as u said. The scan said lo's cephallic wether na him carry head dey chook d cervix I don't know. But it's all gud.
All i know is as long as my redeemer liveth I can face tomoro,and I will carry this pregnancy to term. Devil is fighting himself for nothing.

I think it has to do with the increased blood flow in that area. I think you should see your doctor If the pressure continues. You know UTI causes pressure too? So try see your obs/Gyn. Sabi mamas will come and chook mouth.
