1)They love football (it is normal)
2)They only read their version of the Bible called "Holy Scripture"
3) They don't pray
4) They don't play or listen to gospel music

I share same observations with the OP, the few am close to have nothing to do with gospel music but play secular music all day.

Many times you go to church and the Pastor command the minority Tithers to stand, he showers them with prayers and command devourers to stay clear of these ones standing only.

I wonder, so the majority sitting down can go to hell with devourers, they can face devourer head on, hell can unleash it's​ content in the lives of those none tithers right.

I mean devourers should jump and pass-by the tithers and descend heavily on the none tithers until they begin to bring their tithes to church.

Is this the reason for their Hypocritical prayers? To make us feel bad and condemned to devourers? ...

I honestly don't understand such hypocrisy in a place they call the house of God, a good Shepard won't be so comfortable with this divisive prayers. Even Jesus prayed for those who crucified him.

Thank God for grace shaa, God is not a man otherwise attacks by devours would have consumed 90% of genuine Christians today.

Our blessings are not tied to the pastors mouth, we are already blessed and protected from Creation by the creator himself.

They tagged most of the modern technology "Worldly thing" but they still watch TV, enter vehicles, make calls with Mobile Phones etc.

modern tech is wordly while using phones, COMPUTER etc. What they mean is that modern tech tools are agent of living wordly lives.
You see things that can corrupt the soul easily via phone & TV.
In the past, people get porn from shops but you can easily come in contact with them while surfing the internet.
As for corrupt Christian leaders, Ignore their lifestyles but use their teaching.
Cos I dont know why some unserious Christians ll easily emulate their leaders & fail to emulate examples of Jesus teachings.

I don't even know what to believe anymore... Every church with their own doctrines and policy( as opposed to acts of the apostles chp 4 vs. 32- "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that any of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common" and that's the only thing i find closure in in the light of all this "the bible" ... Read the bible and be guided.

my brother the pastor his not Jesus never compare a pastor to Jesus. he acts based on principles of the bible and if he prays for them and they don't obey? Now whose fault is it.

I am a JW and the op is right. We play secular songs but not all. The ones with debasing lyrics or immoral contents are not allowed. But not all songs are bad. Not all secular songs have bad and immoral lyrics. I play lots of Adele, Brymo, 2face and others. Am very selective.

But I don't play any single so called Christian music cos I've found that most of them have misleading lines. How can you start a song by praising God and then next line you r worshiping Jesus. For example a church here in sango was singing a song. It said.... Adonai I worship you, son of God you r so good. Now how can I sing that. They make it look like Jesus and God are equal. Jehovah is Adonai and Jesus is his son. Two different persons with a long lasting relationship. Well that's for another day.

So bottom line is that church songs carry doctrines not found in the Bible. Like trinity, helfire , everyone going to heaven and the likes. They aren't in the Bible. So I can't sing what's not true.

1.Listening or playing music is a personal decision, but then you should mind what you listen to, are the lyrics glorifying immorality, violence or use vulgar words?

JWs actually listen to secular music but not all. We are usually choosy in our choices of entertainment because we serve a holy and clean God who will not permit any form of dirty sayings from his servants in the name of entertainment. For such reasons we listen to wholesome secular musics only.

Regarding Gospel music, we very well do but not what is obtainable outside in the secular world. We have our own very encouraging and highly inspiring gospel with words that are in line with our believes as found in God's word the bible.
Therefore it's a falacy to say that JWs do not listen to gospel musics.

All over the world, we are to be no part of the world. So don't expect us to do things like you. Jesus made this clear concerning his true disciples.
