I dey enjoy this thread jere. I'm new to all of this. However this is my situation:

Wanna visit for a few days. Got all the papers however, the bank statement my sponsor gave me is 3 months range. He's a frequent at the VFS, and he said he has always used 3 months. However, the Abuja VFS said I drop that application at my own risk. So I fidgeted. The VFS guy advised me to try Lagos. What do you think, based on experience? I need advise. Truth is, the bank statement is gonna take a while to get, I would have encouraged my sponsor to do 6 months for me and BTW, I'm already Lagos bound. Advise me please? Thanks.

Hello people in the house.

I was given 3 months multiple entries visa, l have entered once, planning to go back once again but my visa remain less than 2 weeks to be expired. Meanwhile, I was requested for visiting visa but going for a business which will take me more than 2weeks on my passport. is it possible to extend the visa at point of entry by showing the evidence of business.

kindly advice on what to do in order to extend the visa so as to finalise the business.

Thank you.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by reka(m): 10:58pm On May 18, 2017
Bro, don't waste your time about the extension... South Africa stopped extending visiting visas... It's better you renew your visa before coming cause I doubt if they will allow you enter when you have just 2 weeks left...

When are you planning to travel? Tickets from this end here in South Africa seems cheaper compared to buying in Nigeria. The only thing is changing naira to rands... Air Rwanda, Air Kenya or Ethiopia are good flight and cheap as well...

Please anyone here who can assist me with paying and booking for my flight. I have been granted visa to south africa. I don't know how to go about the booking and paying...

Valid till almost about it's expiry date to get you to the front of an SA immigration officer/port of entry, you can stay in SA for the number of approved days at that level, and 2 weeks is good for a multiple entry visa....

N. B// This info was valid as at last year 100%, should still be.

Its not cheaper in anyway. Converting naira to rands with d high blackmarket rate even makes it worse.

Do you mean paying for the hotels booked for or flight? Please clarify cuz I will be in Durban early next month as I was given multiple entry visa. I'm hoping to get cheap hotels close to Durban university of technology. I would like to know if I can use access ATM visa card to withdraw the maximum $100 dollars allowed. What about FCMB & UBA MasterCard? Hope there are Nigerians in Durban?

Thanks for your response, but what l am saying is this, the remaining 2 weeks visa can not do me. l need to stay more than this 2 weeks before finalizing my business (stay for like 4 weeks) but my visa might have been expired by then. my question now is that is it possible to get my visa extended or do me a new visa over there to finalise my business. if possible, what is the step.

Secondly, l need assistance from anybody who have exported goods from SA to Nigeria before (Truck to be precised).

My experience with gtb card, You can no longer withdraw at the atm but you can swipe in the shops... Don't know with other bank cards though. Nigerians are everywhere man...Durban is home to a lot of your brothers...

My point exactly...If you are planning to stay more than days allowed and thinking of extending your visa for longer stay period, It is not certain at this time again... Their immigration policies changes like the weather.
