I am delighted with my very first sale on May 1st.

This is my second book and I am learning all the way.

Promotions are a very important aspect of this game. I did none for the first book but I will definitely tweak and re publish it soon.

Still writing my books myself and can't afford to slack.

Createspace only deals with paperback editions. However, Amazon KDP can allow you publish both paperback and eBook editions of the same title.

Answers:
Your question one is yes. Many of books have one copy for kdp and another for creastpace. They are same book but only that one is ebook, and the other is paper back.
Second question.

How do you know that you are making sales. Check your dash board. Besides, Amazon does not cheat you. They only display your sales for the last 30 days. For each day, they will calculate it for you from 4 April to 4 May. So check your sales for the last 30 days and see.

What's the issue? We can always trash it here for the benefit of other upcoming publishers and writers.

The second book went live today and is free on Kindle, but it's weird that today only I have about 30 downloads and I still have two days of free download to go, still no review has been added however. Do I still leave it to be free for the specified two days, or I test the waters?

Do not be discouraged. You will make sales. Keep publishing. Do you have paper back edition for your books that are published on createspace?

Please write more books. Don't worry about slow sales.

30 downloads is a good one. Reviews come naturally and slowly. Some of my books are 6 months old still no review. I used to be worried about reviews when I started and even begged for it. But I realized that it wasn't coming so I relaxed. Just write quality books on target niches. They will sell, regardless of no reviews. Trust me on that

I'm not certain, but it could be due to your location. Since you are in Nigeria, which Amazon market did you check, US or UK? I belive it happened to me once and I sent them a message, and they wanted to know which location in accessed it from. Called my friend up in us to help check if it was showing price and yes price was there. With time it will normalize though, cheers. The gurus in the house can help

And you will see the true status of your books. Also, you can use Epic Browser for your P. C . choose enable Proxy and check on your book. The price will be there.

There is something u didn't do well as I withdrew successfully my last earning via worldremit. Sales has been really slow, but it has always been like that for me till say from the 19th of each month, things will suddenly pick up. I normally feel, they pay this white folks their monthly salary on the 19th, hence the shopping spree (just kidding). Though I have always exceeded the $150 mark every month. I get above N50,000 monthly, I am trying to see if I can increase it to N100,000. I am still writing more books. I wish I could make sales like bros1234. I know I will get there soon.

Don't try to publish someone else's work else the amazon bot will catch u as there are metadata they read to know if u are the original owner of the book or not. If you have uploaded someone else's ebook, they will terminate your account and you will lose all your earnings if you don't replay the "alert mail" they sent.

With the above letter, they will only block the book and not your entire account.

If you actually own the book, and you didn't plagiarise in anyway, write them stating that you are the owner of the work and can prove beyond reasonable doubt. Tell them you wrote the book and have no contract agreement with anybody. Though it will require you getting a copyright for the book at copyrightdotgov, I think it's about. $30 to get that done online. Just Google it, u will see the site, it is an American site.

It is good to know that you are steadily making progress through the ranks of your Sales. I also, I am thinking of once increasing my book production. I want to at least write two books every month. With that, in 5 months, I will have ten new books.
