Konza what? I know about it. It is a VILLAGE PROJECT compared to Eko Atlantic. It's more similar to what smaller cities like Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Abuja, are doing in terms of 'new cities'. SPEND SOME TIME AND RESEARCH BEFORE COMMENTING. You are like many others here. Empty barrels who spew negativity in loud noise, but haven't the slightest clue what projects are being executed in Nigeria, and haven't the slightest inclination to research them.

Lapsset is an acronym for Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia-Transport ...coridor, Its Kenyas quest to open up a second transport coriddor...

The initial cost was $23B but a couple of new highways were added, also they decided Lamu would be built into a city for 1Million residents, so the cost shot up to $29.3 billion or approximately $30B... It includes a rew rail, oil pipeline for crude and refined oil, a refinery, new roads, all of these connected to the new port in Lamu..

Pic 1 .This was the first breakdown before they added other stuff
pic 2. Overall project map
pic 3, the pipeline evacuating crude oil from South sudan, then refining it and exporting to ethiopia and kenya and excess to outside kenya
pic 4 the highway to Ethiopia 99.9% complete, they are now doing the joint border post for faster clearance of goods..
pic 5, the first 3 berths at lamu are 20% complete

Where and where did he go in Cameroun? We all know how you dummies visit the capitals of these small countries, where the govt spends 80% of its revenue on the main city while the rest of the country is neglected, and then assume the comforts of the capital are replicated throughout the country. And if, despite all you've read here, you still think the Nigerian railway network is not being implemented, it just shows you are an illiterate dunce unworthy of further attention.
That is what you think, First of all is Abuja electricity supply constant? In Cameroon there is Douala, Yaounde, Limbe, Bafousam and other towns, they ALL have constant electricity, you have not gotten out of Ibadam but cast thoughts and pull statistics from the anus.

The significance of building infrastructures like this in country lies in wheather the people did it themselves or projects of the slave masters to enslave the people even more. In this case the chinese.

Development is DIY,you have to learn the hard way and learn to do it yourself, that is when you are trully free.

Most countries ''around the world'' are developing nations like Nigeria. Most countries ''around the world'' are not like the US, UK, Germany, and Japan.

Most countries ''around the world'' are in the mould of places like Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Ecuador, Mali, Azerbajian, Nepal, Peru, Vietnam, Thailand, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Surinam, Mexico, Zambia, Jamaica, Yemen, Eritrea, Rwanda, Cuba, Trinidad, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Malawi, Cambodia, Mozambique, Chad, Bangladesh, Burundi, DR Congo, Uganda, Afghanistan, Madagascar, and India, among others. In these countries, which make up the world's majority, there are myriad development issues from power shortage to bad roads. That is the NORM in the world.

The EXCEPTIONS are those western countries most of you travel to when you claim to be going ''around the world'' - UK, US, Germany, Holland, France, UAE (Dubai). Less than 25% of the world's population live in those developed countries. Remember that next time you talk of going ''around the world'' and seeing El Dorado everywhere.

Thanks for schooling those Biafrans, funny enough I'm not from South West but I dislike anything Biafra, Nigeria is my country.

The problem is most Nigerians are yet to travel outside Nigeria. I swear down, if 50 percent have been oportuned to travel outside the slums called Nigeria some politicians would have died

Sadly, a passport summarizes a Country! Travelled with a Ghanian to another African country, at the Airport was told to step aside with other Nigerians for "further clearance" while the Ghanian was given an easy passage! undecided

That green passport is a No - No. Completely of no use when compared to many other passports.

Do you ignorant dolts understand there is a $25 billion high speed national rail network CURRENTLY under construction in Nigeria? It will outclass anything Kenya is currently doing, while connecting every state in Nigeria by high speed rail. This is why you and your ilk need to study and research before commenting.

You like to insult ignorant people a lot I think its not fair just say you piece by enlightening the ignorants they don't need to be called IDIOTS

If only GEJ and his fellow crooks had not stolen Nigeria money, by now Nigeria should be able to boast of not less than 10 of this.

We are making giant strides that will DWARF whatever Kenya is doing. Kenya has nothing as extensive and sophisticated as the current $12 billion Lagos-Calabar project.

We need to pay attention to what the govt is doing in terms of projects. There is a push towards infrastructural development. Trouble is people here spend so much time fighting ethnic battles, watching BBN, following celebrities, actresses etc, that they've no clue what the govt is doing, or what projects are going on on the ground.
You have been saying this crap for over 2 years now. Apparently only you believes that horseshit up there

GEJ even tried a lot by building the Abuja - Kaduna standard gauge modern rail.

This is 2yrs of the incompetent illiterate, still nothing to show for

Your assertion is shameful. That GEJ after about 6 years in power with all the oil money of US $140per barrel at a production rate of 2.2million barrel per day, the highest in Nigeria history, was only able to build without completing it, a very short distance railway between Abuja and Kaduna!

Even IBB that people say institutionalize corruption in Nigeria, in his days when government revenues were like nothing compare to what GEJ made, IBB still built the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos; which cannot still be matched till date. How then shall we hail him.
