If you have cash, you can pay a nurse to come help in bathing baby/massaging your body for like 3weeks to 1month. Do you know how to massage a baby's body? Can you clean the navel? If it's a boy, how will you take care of the circumcised part? May God not allow you have a tear. You won't even be able to do strenuous activities. Doing all that yourself when you don't have experience is not advisable. Try get many options so when baby arrives, you won't be running around.

Ado-Ekiti is not a village ma'am, though its not as civilized as PH, Lagos, Abj and some other part of Nigeria(Am not from there though) but I schooled there and enjoyed it.

My dear, I faced PPD 2wks after giving birth even with all the help I had. I threw my phone on my husband out of anger that I don't know where it came from, ignored my daughter when she was crying cos I was cramping, sometimes I'll just be crying for nothing. My hubby took over everything from me when I complained to him, my mom twin sis that came for ọmụgwọ helped me too but there was a time she left me and went to Satellite town & stayed overnight (hubby traveled that period). Just a night felt like a year to me.

Try and make friends with your neighbors, no matter how snobbish they're, just do it for your own sanity(pretend to love them join). If your pastor's wife can come/allow you to stay with them/send someone to stay with you for some weeks.

I'm not trying to judge you but from your posts before you can't do it alone(don't be angry). Please I'm begging you.

My Elder sis almost ended her life same way but by God's grace, she is alive today.
She was pregnant a second time( out of wedluck) and didn't want us to know. The first caused a lot of problems already..
It was at the point of delivery in a maternity with no surgical facility and baby wasnt descending that my mum was called . She thought she could do it all alone, as per being her second.
Thank God my mum was on a business trip in the same city as at the point of all this drama. And she was mobile.
God just saved her. She eventually delivered tru CS and spent more than 2weeks in the hospital. Mum had to stay with here and brought her home eventually.

I just had to share this so you understand where I am coming from.

You would probably get more help than expected. Just be open to friends and acquaintances. My mum couldn't come for mine and after delivery I had to be pursuing people that came to live in my house cuz they were about to eat down my reserves like when Robert Baratheon visited Eddard Stark . Even if no one ends up coming, you'd still be fine. 15 year old white girls are doing it on YouTube. It's just easier to have people for atleast the first week
