Go to the link and book a test date first... it's about 62k, I am writing mine dec 7. And gone through d study materials and it's a piece of cake. Once u make payment u should be able to access d study materials. And pls when booking make sure to select IELTS life skills A1. Be sure dat is d one u choose as writing a diff test to that will result in auto refusal... it's simple and easy.... and I will advice u get to it asap... as it's time sensitive. Hope this helps

Let me add to this, the ielts test is a very simple English test, it won't take more than 20minutes.
They just wanna know how good you can speak n listen.
You'd be paired with another candidate to interact with while an audio will be played for u to listen to. Listen carefully and answer the few questions it contains.
Don't form phonetics o, just be yourself and remember to smile while communicating with your partner and the supervisor/invigilator.
All the best!

Yea. Very correct . Mine was nt even up to 20 minutes. Please smile and dnt be stiff. Also listen very well as the examiner wukd want to see aw well u communicate with the person u wuld be paired with. My advise , while waiting to be called in the room. . U cn strive up a small convo wit the person u are paired wit to put u at ease. It worked for me and today i still call and chat the person.

All the best dear.

Hello everyone...

I posted a while ago but got no response...

I have now read through the entire thread, i have bought handouts and the lecturer's textbook and have gone for tutorials; I am now ready to sit the examination and graduate from the School of Spousal Visa grin

Please I still have a number of queries and will really really appreciate your response as I wish to submit my application very soon:

1) For our accommodation, the house we will be living in is my fathers property which he owns outright. I have gotten a letter from my dad stating we can live there, also have utility bills still in my dad's name though. The plan is to transition the bills to our name when we get there. I have previous uk visa applications stating that I stay there. Hope this can fly?

2) It is unlikely that i can get a property inspection report as will require someone to be at the house. The house is currently empty, my husband stays with his friend as it's more convenient for him, instead of living in an empty house. However I can get a description of the house stating the number of rooms, and other details. Can this suffice? The house is fully available for our use

Thank you smiley

I would advise you get documents from your dad to prove the ownership of the property by him alongside letter of consent stating you and hubby are allowed to live there.. Goodluck.

Thank you so much. I have asked him but he is being difficult, doesn't want to release the documents..

I'll just tell him that we don't have a choice, that it's compulsory self.

Accommodation availability, forms a key part of this application.
How can he be in support of you using the property, but is not happy to supply proof of consent ?

He is in support 100%, but you know how elderly people can be when it comes to documents etc.

I just need to pressure him. Funny enough my husband had insisted that we get that document, I shrugged it off but I did not realise the importance of the doc until I read through this forum.

Meanwhile Mr Lexus please help me torchlight my matter with your wisdom. I posted a list of all the documents I want to take, please assist me to look through.

I would have post here again but don't want to spam the thread

If he would not release the accommodation documents, best to start seeking for alternative arrangement. We have known people refused on this forum in past, due to unclear or inadequate accommodation arrangements.......

Would look through list, but my Nokia torchlight led bulb, don burn.........

2 kids. One 4 years old, one 6 months old.

Dual (USA and Nigerian).

Not sure what you mean by multiplier effect but we are considerably over the income threshold...
