IMO is actually the second richest state in terms of GDP per capita and ffifth richest in terms of total size of the economy ie GDP (check out this link https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/1094196-top-20-richest-states-nigeria.html and wiki or google ) IMO is very rich in oil and gas and have multinationals like shell, sheveron, agip, etc Hospitality industry is very big in IMO and its huge money spinal for the state. Don't be surprised that an average looking hotel can make much more money than a whole market put together can make in a day! Am into hospitality and know what am talking about In terms of profit; yes but in terms of wealth distribution; no. Markets gives every body the opportunity to be a middle class citizen. 2 Likes |

BeijinDossier:Imo state isn't useless but you and abagworo are something else, always quarreling and comparing everything over nothing. I've even warned you coming here to comment even if I know abagworo is usually the main culprit always calling out others but you don't need to follow suit. You guys should take a chill pill this new year. As per abagworo calling me chino, I rest my case with him. Let's please enjoy this Imo thread in peace. |

Abagworo: Even the most solid building structures in IMSU Owerri and IMOPOLY Umuagwo, were built by Okorocha government. Methinks, Okorocha has to defy the location argument surrounding IMSU Owerri, in his bid to placate Owerri for his Eastern Palm University in Ogboko. But Okorocha's later-day sorefooted attitude towards IMSUTH Orlu detracts a lot from his efforts to placate all in Imo state. All said, no Imo governor has changed for good the landscape of Imo State more than Rochas Okorocha. |

Abagworo has done a great job on this thread, especially for those of us in the diaspora; if only he can ignore his distractors. I will so much love to have an update on the state of the 27 general/specialist hospitals scattered all over the LGAs. 2 Likes |

Beremx:So funny this song more than 12 years old EXACTLY captures how politicians still call us all fools in Nigeria today. I wish the song was in English so you can understand it's as if he is talking about the current regime and it's litany of failed promises which simply became mere words as soon as they deceived the people into voting them into office. Then come back to ask for a second term, claiming to do better!!! It is great Nigerians are rejecting their lies and deceit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvuTNsdcfs 1 Like |

Cjrane2: You may not believe it but there was near dearth of NDDC projects in Imo State during Jonathan's term. There were just few projects to an extent that Okorocha cried out. |

You can get lands in both areas at #3m and #12m per plot respectively. Galaxy properties can help you to get land in any part of Owerri. 1 Like |
