Hello, I know this thread may be a little stale but I know someone would still have a solution for me. I need the directory file path for a file on the desktop on the macosx.

As in windows, the file path is usually; C:\user\dell\desktop\temp file.doc

If this same file were to be stored on a macosx desktop, how would it be written?

Press the power button while holding down Command-R. The Mac will boot into Recovery mode. When you see the load bar appear you can let go of the keys. It may take a few minutes to load.
Select Disk Utility and press Continue.
Choose Utilities > Terminal.
Enter resetpassword (all one word, lowercase letters) and press Return
Select the volume containing the account (normally this will be your Main hard drive).
Choose the account to change with Select the User Account.
Enter a new password and re-enter it into the password fields.
Enter a new password hint related to the password.
Click Save.
A warning will appear that the password has changed, but not the Keychain Password. Click OK.
Click Apple > Shut Down.
Now start up the Mac. You can login using the new password.

Try testing new rams, dead or faulty rams can cause this problem.

If you are sure the battery is normal by holding down option key and clicking the battery icon on the top right corner or holding option key and clicking on the apple logo at the top left corner to show the power details that includes your battery cycle then try Recalibrating

Apple battery is expensive

But the earlier you change the better for you
Because it will soon start to affect the track pad.

We Nigerians love to use apple but the limited technicians and apple parts is so frustrating

am using a MacBook Pro with touch bar and Id now





My MacBook air was having issues in Benin city and no technicians in the whole of Benin city could fix it
One technician who claimed to be good in the repairs of MacBook even spoilt it more.
I gave him my MacBook air with the fan still turning but there was no chime sound and it wasn't coming up
Only for me to collect it back after three months because he couldn't fix it and to make it worse the fan was not turning again
