Please nairalanders, i need help.

2 months ago, i used my money to buy my girlfriend an internet phone and she quickly signed up for facebook. At first i was happy because she was happy, now i think i made the dumbest mistake in the history of mankind.
She has started connecting with a lot of her friends and classmates and always on the phone chatting smiling and laughing. Shockingly, I tried to look through her phone last night only to realised that the phone is now passworded.

I have been observing alot of changes, and recently when i try to call her at night her phone is busy getting lousy excuses. I have invested so much in this girl and i do not want stories that touch.

Please i need advice on how to handle this situation with maturity. Also is it okay if i collect back the phone as this internet phone has now become the source of all my worries and pain.

Collect it and loose her! Choose wisely.

You never asked for our input when buying materialistic things to babes, assuming you did or better yet spoke to ur mom or elder sister before buying those stuff you won't be in this mess.

But this in itself is a blessing too, it just shows how much you girl "VALUES" you & ur relationship grin

so I don't see how that is our problem

Lol,i gave my gf my 2nd phone and i tracked her WhatsApp on it with xym** app ,after 2 months of spying her WhatsApp chat,i realized av been dating a certified olosho for 2 good years.

Immediately i did a check

No HIV
Only chlamydia in the urine which i treated with antibiotics.

You would have seen the tendencies but you were too in love. You didn't really know her. You hadn't take the true objective measure of the person you were dealing with.

Hence you ended up triggering all her vices.

Unlike your monicker, You complicated your life!

When you said you have invested so much on her, what kind of investments did you put in her? Is it in her education, career, health, self esteem or s phone?
That you invested in someone is not a reason for marriage at all. If you had invested in making her a better person either in her career or education is a very good thing but not enough for you to believe in for better for worst. The best thing anyone can do for a friend is to invest positively into the person's life without benefits. You don't have to cry woe now after all you have being reaping the investments the other way. Pls know that you may loose the girl and better brace yourself up for it. Don't go committing suicide or murder if it happens. It's painful but when it comes to that, let her go and move on.

Guys, if you are the type who has plenty girls as friends for them to show you their Facebook inbox/notifications, you'd know the type of excess attention ladies get on Facebook.

Even the ugliest girls get their inbox and notifications flooded, all thanks to stupid randy Nigerian guys who keep on licking the a*s of every lady on Facebook.

So you just used your money to buy your relationship a problem, it would take a lady with strong will not to get more by such attention, and if its her first time getting such attention, brother you are on a long thing o! grin
This is just straight from my heart....kudos bro.
Just that I can't say you make a mistake by getting her a phone and will never support you collecting it back. It just shows she seems to lack the basic sense/wisdom a good lady should posses and it's your decision now to make after having that knowledge of the type of human she is.
That is if your story is a true representation of what's going on oh

Just as you said, "matured way"
Relaxe your mind, give her space, don't even complain,
If her mind is still with you, then ,she will be the one to ask you why you are distancing yourself from her.

Call her and sit her down and talk to her about the issue. remind her the consequences of her actions (losing her true love, which is u to sweet talkers on Facebook).

Now, take this Rule of life, "If you want to survive in this world, don't be afraid to lose anything u value so much."

If u can condition your heart this way, u are a real man.

Don't be afraid to lose her. Good thing no dey finish for this world my dear.

cheers...
