You can just imagine how much was paid in 16 years of PDP rule, including the time Obasanjo as he calls himself held sway. Funny many Igbos want PDP back.

Wait till another party comes into power. Only then we will know how much APC government has been wasting.

Ha!!!! so sorry for this nation, 150 billion for less than 1000 politicians and staff; this is just too much and on top of this 17b for election expenses as if they are doing us a favour to contest an election.

Maybe this is what the new Assembly members are not getting from this administration that's is causing friction. Anyways, God dey.

It's called lobbying. Do you know what is in it for the Executives? It's a global approach of getting things done.
It is called bribery not lobbying.

Once there is an exchange of money to facilitate a public officer to do his job it is BRIBERY.

Lobbying has to do with advocating for interests as long as it isn't against the interests of the public and wouldn't involve monetary exchange to oil it.

For instance, NASS may insist that a certain project embarked on by NASS (renovations, empowerments etc) be factored in the budget before they will pass it. Thats lobbying...

Government funds are not budgeted by congress to fund their elections in the USA, except those who elect to limit themselves to the funding provided by law, and thereby not seek any further funds.

This is a globally accepted definition of institutionalized corruption.

I reason behind why he budget hasn't been passed is simply because the President who you insult or call the dullard doesn't bribe the senators like the GEJ era

News she should have released when the money was demanded. I mean, that’s what I’ll have done if I have the country's interest at heart. Rather she put the story in a book to make $.
Nigeria is so messy.

True confession, we can see the reasons why there is always delay in passing this government budget. Baba is not willing to comply at all and is paining them slot, especially when they think about they money they had spent to be elected.

Modified
BUHARI COLLECT FAVOUR
NASS COLLECT SLAPS

IF IT WERE APC THAT SAID THIS NOW......... IMAGINE WHAT DEFENDER OF CORRUPTION WOULD HAVE SAID.

Nigeria needs a brand new democracy , this model is not working at all , Obasanjo messed it up from the onset when he started bribing the National Assembly and paying them like rockstars just to to have his selfish way and today they are used to it .... National Assembly should be the last place for self enrichment because in reality it is the foundation of any worthwhile democracy , get the National Assembly wrong get the democracy wrong.

I'm surprised you didn't blame APC and buhari for this.

This is just little, I'm sure there's a lot more.

Our past leaders, all of them, from military to democratic have been crooks.

They have just bled us dry, haba. We call billions like say na thousands.

There was a country. I feel you late China Achebe, Nigeria has just retrogressed exponentially since independence.

If we remained under the Birstish alittle longer like Mozambique (Portuguese) maybe , just maybe things would be different.

Makarfi has no history of giving bribe as a public or private officer. He's a man of integrity though no one can vouch for any other person 100% but his antecedent points that he is of different breed.

Under his watch as President, it won't happen.

What/Who do you stand for?

Paying more fuel subsidy than the previous administration?
Going abroad for treatment after banning government officials from doing the same?
Buhari is a corrupt hypocrite of the worst kind.
