you should have sent her the above message when she was making noise.
Making noise in the morning but at night riding sweet dicks, hypocrisy. Nigerian ladies are confused they don't know what they want until they get it. I can't place a number on the gullible girls she must have misinformed and misled. Now she went and hoe resulting to pregnancy, now her noise is about baby bump. lwkm

You have to understand why she preached against formication .

See there are so many teens with no jobs, parents are poor..
These teens gets pregnant through fornications and they bring children to this wicked world to suffer... No good schools and hunger everywhere...

You can't use ladies like Linda ikeji to compare those that can't even feed properly..

I think her messages served a good purpose to ladies and young teens to face their education and be something in life before thinking of sex...

Apart from that, we all know the dangers of fornication, sexual diseases and all that...

Ladies like Linda are on a different world entirely..
So she getting pregnant should not be an issue.

So how did Linda get pregnant? Is it from a protected sex lifestyle? undecided
Yes. Protected sex is not all about using condoms.
If a woman wants to get pregnant and go for medical tests with her sex partner before they begin (which I am sure that Linda did)
Then it is also a protected sex

her pregnancy is an issue because she preached against premarital sex etc.
if she had preached against drunk driving or child abuse then her pregnancy would not have been an issue.

Counter my point and stop being a weak tissue paper.
If a Lady wants to get pregnant and go for medical tests with her sex partner before they begin the process,
How is it different from a sex where Condom is used?
They are all protected sex.
It's her life and decision and choice.
Simple

someone countered your point already. here she is:

Amarabae:
He looks so hot with a big cucumber!
Her shape is tempting with a hot watermelon!
The urge is stepping in and sexual feeling is building up in you!
You want him or her inside of you, you want it sloppy and harder,
you want a pounding,so that you can mourn, scream, and shed tears of joy,
#I deeply understand, yes premarital Sex can be sweet and fun-filled!
BUT have you thought about the negative impact premarital sex can have in your life?
Lets start with STDs!
Yes condom will be used but have you heard about condom break during the pounding?
With many fake condoms in markets now,Do you know that if condom break happens, you are now exposed to STDs both curable and incurable?
Dear sister, before you start sucking that his long hard pipe, have you heard about precums?
Though the rate of infection happening through precum is low,yet the possibility can not be written off,
mr headgiver, be careful, vaginal fluid can harbour microorganisms that can cause infection,
some STD carriers are on revenge mission, looking for who to infect,
why do you want to risk your future just for 10mins fun,
why not wait till you are married?

-
The spiritual negative side of premarital sex!
Have you heard about spirit husband and wife?
Oh yes, they are REAL!
Many frusration, setback, limitation, hinderances etc that many unmarried folks are having came as a result of negative effect of sleeping around with multiple sex partners,
looking at it from a spiritual angle, premaritial sex is a sin before God and Man!
-
What about the psychological trauma and stigmatisation you will go through if you contact an infection through premaritial sex,
or how disappointed your family will be if they find out,
I know that legally,if you are above 18yrs,you can have sex!
But dont let that deceive you,
-
premarital sex is not worth the negative risk,
infact masturbation is a bit less risky than premarital sex,
thought both of them are bad though!
-
save your future!
Be wise!
Zip up till marriage!
Thank you my sweethearts!

I see contradictions everywhere:

https://www.nairaland.com/4525068/ride-linda-ikeji-point/1

Sex without condoms will always be termed unprotected sex even if you both had tests with negative results for STDs or HIV.

Here's how long it takes after exposure before you can get a reliable test result:

2 weeks: gonorrhea and chlamydia (and a pregnancy test too!)

1 week to 3 months: syphilis.

6 weeks to 3 months: HIV, hepatitis C and B.

Your post holds no water. Sorry undecided

Op you are right in a way, we should leave Linda to her choice. It's not like she's suffering . She has it all in abundance and with the kid coming forth in few months time., it's all good.

Anyways not all women desires marriage, she could be in that percentage of ladies.
She's an adult and we should all stop castigating her.. She has made her choice and good for her. She won't be the first single mum, neither will she be the last.
Nadia buhari chose to be a single mum with twins biracial. And she's happy with it.
It's cool though. At least they have kids, which is the most important of all.

But it's funny you also created a thread where you frowned on fornication. (If Linda is not married already though)

https://www.nairaland.com/4049350/sexual-abstinence-still-remain-best
When a housewife struts the 'streets' of Nairaland (with the Romance Section as her base) 'sashaying' back and forth with a raised placard inscribed with screaming words 'I am married with a son! I am happy! I am a queen!', you know it's a cloak masking the many inadequacies in her life.

When a housewife spends all her time actively participating in the shenanigans on Nairaland - even by 8.02am on a Saturday morning when she should be spending time with her son who's not in school and her husband who's not at work- then the truth becomes less vague at closer inspection.

We've seen a gazillion of her ilk on Nairaland for years- the supposedly happily married ones who throw it in people's faces without being asked.

The examples abound; from the Mr and Mrs Siena (who were later exposed as living a lie and not even legally married) to BabyOsisi (the U.S-based happily married feminist doctor who was later exposed as being caught up in a scam marriage-for-green-card scandal, divorced and not even a doctor!) to the happily married women of the Family Section who slept with Coôgar and his gang (while married) and deactivated when caught, to Cocôcandy who was exposed by Truckpusher...

Need I go on? The biggest scandals to rock Nairaland (and well-chronicled too) have always been by married folks(women especially).

These are the ones who'd upload their family pictures on Facebook (including their husbands') yet subtly make a move on single young men on social media just for the fun of it. I'd rather not give examples about this.

You, Makydebbie, sure were glued to the pages of that Siena's marriage scandal thread so you definitely read some of these revelations. Some of us had these scandals unfold before our very eyes years ago.

That's also something to look out for. But as marriage is not forthcoming to her, the next available option is having kids, instead of staying single without even a child. Such kind of living can be frustrating.

Kids bring a different kind of joy and fulfilment in one's life. She cant lonely forever, if husband no come, pikin must enter the equation. And who says, her child won't bear the father's name? The child will.

For me? She made a choice and she's going ahead with it.

It's better to be a single mum than to be a murderer killing the innocent child all to appear perfect in the eyes of the public. Single mum is much more better.

A protective sex should not be about using condoms only..
Because even the condoms are not even 80% protective...

There are reasons why people preached one partner and frowned at multiple partners...
When you have sex with just one partner, you don't engage in multiple sex relationship..
YOU and your partner can go for medical check ups and if the both of you are clean..
You both can have sex all you want even without condoms...
Because the sex is protected already...
Why people mostly couples use condoms are because of birth control that causes over population ..
But that being the case, couples that don't have sex outside can have protected sex without condoms because they are medically OK...
Even to prevent pregnancy, they can try the pull out method but it's not 100% effective..

If a beautiful rich woman such as Linda couldn't get a husband, something must have been off about her.
Instead of working on herself, she chose to get preggy out of wedlock. Most feminists are too opinionated and that's a huge turn off for men.

Now matter how you might want to paint it, it is completely wrong up get pregnant out of wedlock - both morally and biblically.

What if her daughter grows up someday to get pregnant for someone, what would be her reaction?

You are too narrow minded..

I will tell your for a fact! Not all women are destined to marry, no matter how good and amiable she is. If it's not in her destiny then it won't happen , except she goes an extra mile spiritually.

I can tell you for a fact not everyone is destined to marry. This life and what surrounds everyone's destinies is deeper than what u think.. Not everything is black and white.

Yeah u have a point, she is capable, getting pregnant before marriage isn't new, especially when she is well to do. But that isn't d main issue. The major reason people are raising dust abt her pregnancy is on the premise of preaching what u don't practice. It just further buttress how deceitful we humans are...Regardless of her financial state, getting pregnant before marriage truly negates her preaching against premarital sex...Lets not propagate what we can't practice is the issue here & it has been d root cause of all d problems we have been facing as humans. U see women coming online to label men as scum, but behind they cant do without these same men. Same goes for men, Churches & mosques preach about truth & honesty, yet all public office holders are either christians or muslims, because d religious leaders don't practice what dey preach. It is natural for people to react this way since she was at d forefront of preaching against premarital sex. Her age or financial status doesn't stop her from going through the normal process of raising a family.
