I'm 38 weeks pregnant, with my second child, baby is due on 23 March and my daughter turns 3 on 25 March . I'm hoping for a natural birth this time, i.e. no meds. I had an epidural with my first child, however talk is cheap and i have a low pain threshold, the pain was toooooooo much at 5cms dilated so who knows! Had a check up yesterday and advised that i have high blood pressure, so have to go back for further assessment on Monday.

I smiled at your comment because I could understand how you felt back then. Hope your baby is all grown now. I am relevant in the health sector and I do understand the process of epidural. A pack alone as at 2012 was offered at nearly 20k to hospitals. The process isn't easy at all start but once successfully applied, the back pain subsides. The process is called epidural anesthesia. There are a couple of safe drugs, your doctor should prescribe the suitable one for you

Take it with fesolate. Folic acid is once daily and fesolate can be once or twice daily (I think the dosage depends on the level of your PCV)
But you can start with once a day until you meet your doctor.
My PCV was 37 and I was only on Pregnacare original with folic acid one a day. Now I only take pregnacare original.
I didn't think I needed the fesolate since Pregnacare works for me. That's what my sister used all through her pregnancy and I like it cos it contains a lot.
Anyway, by the time you start antenatal or see your doc, you will be asked to go for PCV to check your levels.
But in the meantime, use the folic acid and fesolate

You might want to see a Dr to do blood test.and dating scan.. Be faithful with your folic acid.
Antenatal may begin from your 12th week sha unless your Dr thinks otherwise

For lunar months its 10 months (based on 4 weeks per month)but on a normal calendar it 9 months even though it is 40 weeks as all months apart from February have more than 28 days (4 weeks).

You should see your doctor for prescription. I was given aspirin,nefedipine(not sure of the spelling) and Labetalol. Pls let the doctor prescribe and monitor your usage of drugs.

It’s actually 9 months. 40wks = 280 days
Assuming each month is 30 days, 280 divide by 30 = 9.3.
Plus women Ovulate at different times during each cycle so a woman with regular cycle who ovulates late might not be “4wks pregnant” when she misses her period.
