For once, PDP should shut the eff up.
Say what you want, PDP, you are not up to scratch. You guys have nothing to offer. Nada.

UNder OBJ, Nigeria's debt was cancelled. Under Buhari's government alone, our debt profile has raised to an unprecedented level.
During the last days of PDP, fuel price was N89 per litre and we were even paying lesser on subsidy. How much is fuel today ?
Rice was N8k per bag but today it's 50K. I even forgot to mention the price of dollars.
We can go on and on. Pls, APC is a disaster.

Nigerian manufacturers/producers can be exploitative. You close the border to encourage farmers but they end up dealing with the populace. No price control. SOmeone will just wake up one day and raise the price.

Late Abacha also cutoff Nigeria from the rest of the world...he even stopped Nigeria from participating in the 1996 Africa Nations Cup..

Wetin the country get in return Monumental embezzlement.... Repatriation of Nigeria's wealth overseas...keeping them in various banks in the world.

Na their way.

Abacha never stopped the SE from competing in African Nation Cup.
The problem began with Mandela. South Africa was hosting Miss World that year and Nigeria was one of the contestants. Mandela asked Miss Nigeria to leave because Nigeria was ran by the military.
This angered Abacha and he said Nigeria would not compete in the 1996 tournament hosted in SA unless the venue is changed. This wasn't possible so Nigeria did not attend.
So, Abacha wasn't at fault. Blame Mandela for kissing the West a$$.

Originalsly:

The US does not roll out the red carpet for foreign businesses.... Nigeria does. Ease of doing business is a different topic. Free Trade Zones do not abide by the laws of the host country ... and always set up in impoverished countries for the exploitation of cheap labour. If a foreign company is mining cobalt .... employing a few hundred unskilled laborers... having them work long hours at below minimum wage ... abusing them ... making US100M per year profit but giving $1 M to the country .... is this really adding value to the economy? ... or exploitation? Depends on how you look at it.... if anyone or the economy gains anything ... no matter how small ... one can consider it beneficial to the economy... exploitation will never exist.

WHen you talk about exploitation, you should mention China. They are the number one in cheap labour.
Secondly, our Government should make laws that discourage exploitation. I don't see how an In.dia.n or Chinco person will oppress Nigerians in our own country. That's bs.

Africans are clowns.

You will continue courting 'FOREIGN INVESTMENT' as if it is a good thing. You will not ask yourself what is good about it.
Ok it 'creates jobs', but the minute one kpim happens, they pack up and leave. Imagine creating useless jobs that disappear when the economy is bad. Mind you, when the economy is bad is when you need jobs. So now you have a situation where when an economic problem is supposed to be a 2, it immediately becomes a 10 because you're depending on people who are ready to run when any sign of stress appears.

Please. Let them leave, and let us stop trying to pretend that 'multinationals' are worthwhile assets to ANY economy.

Can we all be objective ? I'm sure if this happened when GEJ was in power, I bet you the whole country will come for him. That's by the way.

Every country needs foreign investors. They help the economy.
Do you think USA do not have foreign investors ?
Do you think Russia, China, Germany, France etc don't have foreign investors?
Or do you think companies like Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Porsche, Honda, HP, GE, Mersk etc only have investments in their parents companies? FYI, Toyota has offices in USA and Europe as well. Same with Benz which is a German country.
Every country needs foreign investors.
WHen an economy is failing, just admit it. It's not everything that should be politics.

osigiepurr:
I hate the way the white people always try to ridicule and stereotype African top performers. Even after death, the white demons are still angry with TB Joshua due to how he seriously dealt with them. Hence they are all out for cheap blackmail and propaganda against a dead man. Foolish HomoSapiens called "British" have been trying hard to cause confusion in West Africa since 1860.

No one is talking about Benny Hinn and other foreign pastors who performed greater miracles across the world. Why are the foolish British demons after TB Joshua even after death?. He should be left for God to judge.

The Europeans should be ashamed of themselves because they manipulated and introduced the foreign religion to the West Africans. Some smart Africans took it up and outshined their pretentious religious craft. So, why are the British now crying over spilt milk?

But Nigerians were also affected as well. IN fact more Nigerians were victims of abuse
Family / Re: My Mom Has Stopped Looking Good, What Do I Do? by vislabraye(m): 4:37pm On Jan 08
whyteteeth:
My ever charming mom has stopped looking good like she used to eversince she joined a particular church in the early part of 2021.

Prior to that time, mom was a lover of good wears. She used to wear nice jewelries to complement her dressing. Nowadays, the story is no longer the same. She has changed completely and she is now a shadow of her former self. She would not make her hair with weavon or attachment, or wear wig or makeup like she used to do. She now uses thread to plait her hair which makes her look very unlike her and very unattractive.

When I travelled home during Christmas, I nearly wept when I saw her. From her head to her toe, she was completely off. No sense of style at all. Just regular clothes and slippers even when she is going out for an event.

What do we do? The church she joined is THE LORD'S CHOSEN. And dad says she has asked her to stop attending the church but she refused. Mom is a retired nurse and she is 62 years old. I am her last child and I and my siblings are doing everything possible to make her look good. Money is not the problem. She is just simply refused to listen to anybody.

Three people you can't advise:
i A woman in love
ii A man that has a lot of money
iii and African mother following false prophet.

I'm not shading your the Lord's Chosen. I got this quote somewhere and it makes a lot of sense. The older a woman becomes, the more religious she becomes. And sometimes the religion will cloud their judgement.
WHo are the victims of religious frauds? Women
WHo attend church the most ? Women.
Who are the people Indaboski conduct deliverance the most ? Women

Men are allowed to speak. I totally agree with you. Did you listen to Emeka Ike's trouble with his wife ?
He got the sympathy of the public. In fact, many eyewitnesses spoke on his behalf. Truth is that Emeka Ike's was hardly at fault. He was a responsible man who loved and took good care of his family.
Can you compare that to Yul ? WHich reasonable person would come out to say 2023 was his best year after losing a child ? You have to be sensitive. What would his other children think about him ?

i feel may is using the fact she’s a female to manipulate the public to keep insulting yul edochie and i understand why he’s getting annoyed by it. leave the marriage and move on with your life, or be a first wife and let’s hear word, Enough!! last year was your worse year but you have been galavanting and having endorsements no remorse in your actions but want to be the one keep playing victim. May is not the first to be in a polygamous marriage, or leave a marriage she doesn’t like.

Let see where she’ll meet a single man with no woman in his life, with her four kids.

Madam move on with your life

But May is not the one who comes to Social Media everyday to talk about his family. Yul would troll his wife and his fans.
He would make controversial statements here and there. Btw, You and May, who has been talking more ?
Yul isn't acting like a man.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Demands Too Much Money by vislabraye(m): 4:16pm On Jan 02
Naijagram:
Seeking your thoughts, everyone!!!

I work as a salaried individual and earn around 400k monthly.

However, my girlfriend constantly asks for money. I give her almost 100k every month and she feels it's not enough for her. She's even voiced discontent, suggesting I only send her money when she explicitly requests it.

I'm beginning to suspect her motives, as she seems solely focused on my income.

She never suggests saving or helps in cutting costs; her primary interest lies in spending everything.
Despite my genuine love for her, I can't keep up with her demands. I had hopes for our future together, but it seems unlikely now.

I'm considering a breakup as a solution.

Has anyone navigated a similar situation?

Almost 100k a month, probably you give her something like 90k ? That's a whole lot. SMH
Thats a whole lot. Oga, you will end up broke and bitter.
I amazes me how people see trouble and still enter into it. You know what to do.

Sorry to say this but Victor should win champions league or World cup at list to be able to be called a champion that's the only way the Rivillon is kind of right let him win UCL or WC ehn then we can call him champion

Gabriel Bautistuta never won world cup or CL. SAME AS Michael Ballack to mention but a few. Does it mean that these players are not champions?
So winning the SeriaA championship 🏆 doesn't make him a champion ? Pls define a champion.

"For me, very few footballers in the world can be considered champions and Victor Osimhen does not fall into that category"

The Serie A defending champions have agreed on a deal in principle with the Nigerian forward which will extend the end of his contract from 2025 to 2026 and will make him one of the best-paid players in the club's history.

If this is true, then Nigerians owe Mr. Ibu's wife an apology. Mr. Ibu did his wife wrong. And on top of that, the said Jasmine is even controlling his money.

Those people calling out his wife's should apologize to her. Especially The very dark black man. He has been running his mouth on social media saying what he's not sure of.

sarkinbauchi:
A Presidential yacht refers to a vessel of a country's navy that would be specially used by the country's President. It is common for a vessel to be designated as the presidential yacht during a fleet review.

Details of this new yacht first surfaced in September 2008.[6][citation needed] The yacht is being built at the Istanbul Naval Yard, Pendik, Istanbul and is reported to have a ballistic hull, surface-to-air missiles and high-tech equipment.

United States
In the past, the United States employed presidential yachts serving the American president:

USS Williamsburg (1945–1953)
the most recent presidential yacht was USS Sequoia (1933–77).

Can you compare Nigeria to those countries? Are they struggling with electricity or bad roads ? Should that be our priority?
