oh my gosh, i was waiting for the day soem of these stupid artist out now will pay respect to the greats, this is very good song.

that guy gave shout outs to evi edna shocked, major props faze, this is real originality
Music/Radio / Re: Is Sauce Kid Original Or Not? by youngdigi(m): 6:01pm On Aug 07, 2008
@owo, notice i said "if the joint blew", mode9's song on nas's beat didnt blow anything, if it did, im sure he would have made a video to it, its a business thing

one of mode9's biggest songs from back in the day "elbow room", the beat was jacked as well, from xzibits "paprazzi" so what are u really saying? and the only reason they didnt put the actual beat on the video cut was becos mtvbase refused to play it

making a video for a song could mean 2 things
1) it is a promo video ; OR
2) the song has a buzz and promoters think its a good business move to make one

i respect ppls opinions on stuff if u have a valid point, but i just cant stand hating on another person's fortunes or progress and trying to pin point what is wrong about them, can we get a better point to back up ur thread? if not, just shut up, u are embarassing urself.
Music/Radio / Re: Is Sauce Kid Original Or Not? by youngdigi(m): 1:25pm On Aug 07, 2008
sorry a lot of u don't have any point at all, i think theres some strong hating going on here

nigerian artists have been stealing people's beats ever since, maintain did it all through their careers, those guys that stole dangerous beat a while ago, millions of them i can't even remember, i don't think thats valid basis to determine someones originality, especially since he dropped yebariba as a mixtape single, mode9 ued a nas beat on his last mixtapei listened to, so u are telling me if that mixtape joint blew, then mode9 is not original?? fukk outta here, please thats not a point, give a more valid reason why u think he is not original, if not, this thread seems to be hate influenced
Music/Radio / Re: Is Sauce Kid Original Or Not? by youngdigi(m): 4:10am On Aug 07, 2008
i think u need to first identify what u mean by original or not?

then based on that ppl can give responses

young digi me thinks the ladies were just unprofessional, asking stupid questions on natioanl TV doesnt make sense!!!!!!!
thank God for the presenter(funmi) they would av torn him apart!!!!!!!!!!!! Nigerian presenters are shitty and unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!
imagine the young lady saying anytime she sees any nigerian dressed like that with such accents that she feels he is lost

i feel what you are trying to say but i dodnt think there was anything unprofessional in the questions they asked, what they were saying is what the typical nigerian would say on the streest, or what some of sauces friends might even say behind his back, point is, a lot of ppl feel thatw ay, and thanks for bringin this up becos this is where my previous point lies.

i beleive sauce should expect questions like this, and should be prepared based on his image (tattoos, african american persona), from what i saw in that interview, a lot of times he couldnt give straight answers and used money statements and stuff like swag to cover up, thats why i said they werent relating to him, and funny enough a lot of those things i believe simple answers coudl be given, for example, where the lady said pppl who dress like that she feels they are lost, sauce could have just said, its fashion and end it there, there are ppl who have never been to america that dress like that, so thats a valid point, i cant keep going on, but bottomline, hope i madde myself clear

skingo:

young digi go and give yourself a digbe, if u don't like my boy sauce kid, why do find time to listen to his interviews to the point that u can pick point shit out. m,y guy leave story, accept what u lik, take what u can from what u se and hear, leave the rest alone as it does not apply to u. thats my judgement on u. pointing on sauce kid for being ingnorant by the way he answers his questions has made me realise that we are either on different psychological, intellectual planes or we jus see things differently.
that interivew never gets old i still watched it yesterday and the entertainment value in that interview is what makes it fresh everytime. im tired of people makin up things about sauce kid not because i like him or know him or respect him btu because it saddens me to see you making a statement bout someone who does not know you or even value your opinion. it starts gettin annoying because u never stop. i've not liekd u for over 2 years online and i don't think ima stop not liking you. you can make your points here and there and i will not say anythinng but when u involve saue kid i will yan.

besides, his belt his expensive thats why he sags. lol. anyone who reads negative meaning into this needs to go buy a bag filled with various senses of humors. tired motherfucks

dude// i didnt put my feedback there for u to give me feedback on my comments, i threw it there becos sauce could be reading this and it could possibly help him in his career, i can give u a few points to expatiate on what i was tryna say but thats not necessary

i advise u to go back and read my msg and try to decode what i was tryna say, there was absolutely no reason for ur defensive attitude, except u felt insecure about something, the lady sonned sauce kid, and if u dont know what sonning is, i'll explain it to u

when someone gets at u in a corrective/humorous manner and u cannot respond, that is wat sonning is, now go back and watch that interview and tell me if sauce was sonned or not
Music/Radio / Re: African Kings - We Are Aks (promo Video) by youngdigi(m): 4:27pm On Aug 05, 2008
that woman on the left sonned sauce kid at some point

lady (right): why do you sag?
sauce: its the way my body is, even when i pull it up, they fall right down again
lady (left): thats what the belt is for

LOL, thats was funny, sauce sounded very ignorant and unreasonable, there was no chemistry in that interview at all, cus they couldnt relate to him in a lot of ways, i think he needs to work on his interpersonal skills nand leanr how to pass his points clearer, also i didnt believe when he said yebariba didnt mean anything, that doesnt make sense, even tho it doenst mean anything, the fact that he got the whole county saying it, he should make up a meaning for it, but oh well,

by the way, this AKS song is not too good, the video is very corny, sorry, i expected more, especially after the noise u guys have been making, i'll be expecting more in the future, good luck

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Sending A Thank You Note After A Job Interview by youngdigi(m): 5:00pm On Jul 22, 2008
DO NOT send a thank you note. I am assuming you said thank you right after the interview anyway. If I am interviewing you and you send me a thank you note/text after the interview, i will think you are desperate, which is not a good look

think about it, if you feel u are qualified for the job, what are you thanking them for? for filling in a space in the company or for you making the company a better 1? if anything they should be thanking you for bringing your expertise to their company out of over 1000 jobs in nigeria grin

rockyfela:

abeg make una no take eldee diss to the point of mere naija molue hoppers, It was a diss b/w him nd free not so? You either go hard or go home thats what i believe a diss should be, He ripped free's ass on that joint, because if u look at it, it wasnt meant 4 anyother person but freee and as such judging based on the punchlines/metaphores ppllllsss, abeegggggggggg ELDEEEEEEEEEE WAS THE DON,

I wouldnt call free's song a diss, jjst braggin nd he wasnt specific 22222,

dude u gotta udnerstand something, 1st, free didnt diss him so theres no question of go hard or go home, eldee came hard for his pocket cus theres no comparison to be made here in the first place, u cannot compare 8 bars of a story with 5 minutes of a rap diss

2nd, a question of go hard or go home shouldnt even apply to this, cus these are guys that know each other, calling him a molue hopper just doesnt cut it, its diffrent if u in a battle rap competition (106 and park or soemthing), this is kind of personal, and once again, flossing, bragging about being in a-town doesnt cut it at all, if free wins visa lottery and comes to yankee today, guess what? eldee's diss becomes less relevant by the day, but what free stated remains the same and will always, now u do the math
Music/Radio / Re: Which Diss Song Is Tighter ? Eldee Vs Freestyle: Listen & Comment Here by youngdigi(m): 4:22am On Jul 21, 2008
montelik:

forget d music.personally u can say i am on eldee side on this beef.freestyle has no biz sayin what he said in d song as well as various interviews about eldee.on both songs i would say freestyle's song is better in terms of the overall music value.but looking at it strictly from a diss-me-i-diss-u perspective ,eldee's is so so much better.i mean if free was tryin to diss eldee with that track then either he has no ammo with which to attack or he was runnin scared.if it were a boxing match stats would read :free threw 8 punches landed 4 while eldee threw 24 punches landed 22.anyway i know freestyle can do better, even though i believe eldee will ultimately be better no matter how hard he tries.

get something straight here, what freestyle did wasnt a diss, thats what they call **shots fired**, as some ppl say, its a teaser, i didnt like eldee's diss tho, he was too focused on i'm a baler u a molue hopper, that doesnt cut it for me, becos if u ask me, thats shittin on a lot of ppl in nigeria, basically the lower class, in nigeria we have big time hustlers who begin from entering moluwe and become big boys so0meday, so that doesnt cut it well for me, the fact that hes in yankee is justt he upperhand and thats it, anyone in yankee can easily brag about all the things he said in that diss if u know what i mean, in other words i dont think his diss had a lot of substance, /but i will ultimately like to see what free comes up with if he does

and for the record , braggin rights is better than the eldee track

peace

for real? no wonder. i think say na my account dey dull. them close the group because of the boycott or africankings? who be the guy wey close the group why is it so na so so many people just get bad belle.

dude honestly some of u need to think outside the box for a minute, why is it that someone does soemthing to another person and it is considred bad belle? did u ever think why they would do soemthing to sauce kid liek that? theres a lot of mixed stories about this thing, and to be honest with u, so many people cannot have an issue with 1 person and the ultimate cause is bad belle, theres gotta be something deeper than that, i am not in the industry i don't know how sauce acts around industry folks, he could be rude, ignorant and extremely cocky, i don't know, but my thing is all the time ive heard sauce, theres always someone he has a problem with, thing sliek that are ot normal, therecomes a point when u gota check yourself, and thats what i think sauce should do, BEEFING WITH ANY DJ IS NOT GOOD FOR ANY RAPPER'S CAREER, your fans will not spin your music in the club, and guess what? when your music is not spinning, fans like parasites find the next best thing to hold onto, thats the way it goes, so even tho i think sauce had a point in a lot of things he was saying, i think he can handle this more efficiently, cus trust me his career is clearly on the line,

clear example, nas was king of new york when he dissed funk master flex on hot97, do u know what happened eventually? the same king of new yrok got on hot97 radio and apologized publicly, these are legends in the game,
another thing u should notice, when rappers get beef with each other, did u ever notice that they never cal out djs that are affiliated with the rappers they are dissing? e.g. game as much as he disses gunit, have u ever heard him say "fuk dj whookid", or nas on ether, did u hear him say "fukk djclue"? or even jarule dissing shady/aftermath, did u eevr hear him say "fukk dj greenlantern"? u know why? becos dj's are connected like that, u diss one of them u never know where that could lead u, do ur homework and u will realize that rappers are conscious about things like this

see soemtimes its not about whos right or wrong, its about who handles things the mature way for the best interest of everyone, peace
Music/Radio / Re: Rihanna's 'umbrella' Song Was Written By A Nigerian? by youngdigi(m): 6:17pm On Jul 17, 2008
mrjuwon:

How does this make sense. The song was written by The Dream who is clearly without a doubt NOT NIGERIAN.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IN 2006, Dream was brought in by Tricky Stewart, of Redzone, to write with several artists the company was working with such as, Atlantic artist, Bayje, Capitol artists Dear Jane and J. Holiday and Interscope artists Brit and Alex. All of such are due to release in 2007.

To kick off the new year, Dream started 2007 with a bang. With the help of Tricky, "Umbrella" was created and was shopped to several labels for several artists. From Britney Spears at Jive, to Mary J and Akon, but it was Karen Kwak of Universal Music that got the record into the hands of LA Reid and the rest is history. Dream knew right off that Rihanna would be the best artist out of all those incontention for the record. Island Def Jam flew Dream and Tricky to LA to record with Rihanna and also while there they wrote "Breakin Dishes".

end of story, i was just about posting the same thing.

threadstarter should be banned for such false information :smh:

That's what I've been sayin, But u gotta understand this, da DJS SHOWING You LOVE AND PLAYING UR SHIT DON MEAN You SHUD GO BOUT SAYING FUKK DA DJS! YA digg?? If wayne apologized 2 da djs, who da fukk is Sauce? Because him get small groupie fuh side, he's head juss deh swell, Useless baboon, Me I no send oooh, He's interview proved how cocky and childish he was and watch how he's going to end his own career,

~We Are AKS~
true i coudl tell from the interview that he was frustrated with a lot of shit as well, but oh well, i don't know what he is facing in the industry, who knows they coudl be boycotting him liek he said, i just listened to the african kingz producer's interview as well, i liek the way he sounded, u could tell he is very original with his shit, one thing i could feel him on most especially was the fact that some nigerians say they are not nigerians, i.e. the ones born here, the fact that he ahs never been to naija before and he spoke the way he spoke in that interview, i automatically have a lot of respect for him, his identity is on point, very mature,

but at the end of the day, i want to hear good music, if anyone is not giving me consistent good music then they should go and sit down somewhere, no one cares about 1 hit single, give me 2, 3, 4, 5 hit singles, then u can walk in the likes of trybesmen, plantashun boyz, 2face and dbanj, point is - change the game dont let the game change u
Music/Radio / Re: Durella & Africankings Beef Saucekid: Latest Nigerian Beef : This Is Fire ! by youngdigi(m): 4:23am On Jul 15, 2008
i just listened to sauce kids interview and i actually support a lot fot hings he is saying, u have no right to tell a grown man he has 24 hrs to apologize for some bullshit, who the fukk are u? thats considered a threat/./, u dont play games with grown men like that, one thing i found wrong was, he shouldnt have said he starts his own shit and doesnt swagga jack

"I Cant Feel My Face" was swagga jacked from Lilwayne and juelz santana, they had this movement going on around 2005-2007

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZipSFriIS5w

but good interview regardless
Music/Radio / Re: Never Judge A Book by youngdigi(m): 8:24pm On Jun 24, 2008
so i was glancing through this post and i still cannot see what sauce kid stands for.

i havent heard him say it, i havent heard his fans say it, and ms. abimbola here who mentons haters hasnt said it either.

listen, no one cares to know who sauce kid is personally, apparently thats what your article is focused on, i personally care to know what he stands for as an artist, and u don't mention it, and im sorry, his conflicting identity doesnt help that notion as well, the article states he doesnt fake american accent, how do u know that about someone u just met personally and talked to on the phone a few times? wow @ such brilliance

i can go on and on about this ridiculous groupie-influenced article but i'll just leave it at that to show how dumb some groupies can be without even realizing their level of groupieness, if u are writing an article about an artist, focus on him as an artist not on what u think about him personally

nice video, and i like the song too

only things i ddint like were the yellow, green and red full outfit, they looked like super heroes in that, also gino's dresscode was off, sweat jacket in a hot weather (over 90degrees F), and then he rocks it with shorts, thats lame

but besides that the song is very good, ginos verse wasnt bad as well, i like the dice effect
