Phranex: Your mathematics is flawed.
That 1k was deducted from the total earnings as expenses.
He said 4k for fuel.. Total earnings is 10k
He actually bought 3k.. So he kept 1k abi..
When we want to share the 10..
We minus 4k which the actual 3k for fuel plus the 1k with him as expenses.
We now share 6k... He didn't cheat me.. He played a fast one on himself. If he likes he says the bought fuel for 7k whereas he bought fuel of 1k.. Remember he is buying fuel from my money... He has to pay the amount he used to buy fuel before we share profit.
10 minus 7 is 3
Is 3k we will share... He might have 6k with him but he gave me back the 6k as expenses.. Lol.. Not so smart after all.... this thing requires no calculator, if i drive for u and report earnings less 2k to u daily, i'll have 62k by the end of the month, regardless of whatever my 35% commission off the percieved net profit will be. With this, i'll buy my car off of u in <2yrs, just by ripping u off of 2k daily. Anyday i have much sales, i'll stash 3k. any1 who ever told u that u are smart is your enemy |

taxiappguy: To be honest, all the answers you need have been told you. The thread has functioned as a voice of reason. A smart entrepreneur will listen. It's different from the voice of naysayers, listen and amend your plan accordingly.
Just as I was about to launch my fleet management company, the thread advised me on the pitfalls to avoid.
However intelligent I thought myself, I had to listen. Because experience usually trumps theory knowledge. Part of your work as an entrepreneur is knowing when you may be wrong. Even if you are right most of the time
My only question is, why are you trying so hard to convince us here?
Just Do It I Must buy u cold beer, u can't refuse. You either take it OR Take it |

Phranex: Let's say driver buy fuel 3k but tells me 4k
At the end of the he makes 10k (bad day) 10 -4 =6
The driver and I will share 6k .. He gets 2100 (35%)
He tells me the truth
10 - 3 = 7
The driver and I share 7k.. He gets 2450
Who loses if he lies, tell me?
Remember all expenses comes back to the investor as running costs... So from the 10k, the investor has expenses plus 65% of net profit
The driver loses if he lies....
If he tells me he spent xyz for repairs.. Whatever he earns , that xyz amount will be first deducted before we share the profit
E.g
He calls that the car broke down and mechanic needs 5k . I will transfer 5k to him.. He made 10k at the end of the day... What we will share as profit is 5k.. The 5k I sent will have to be deducted from the 10k...
This model is fool proof...
I will have to do some further permutations to be doubly sure tho i read every word u typed on this topic, many flawed perspective and expressions of yours. If i am to reply every post if urs on this issue, you will get tired of reading; but take this from me; You come off to me as Brilliant but not intelligent and far from smarti overcame the temptation to reply earlier posts of urs but this one really off me . a driver tells u d truth to get 2,450, but tells a lie to get 2,100(+1,000)=3,100, taking both your 65% and his supposed 35% yet,u say he loses by lying to u...smh Business is run successfully not by theoretical approach, but on Very practical and analytical approach.Peeps who av had practical experience in this business are showing u the loopholes in your model, u keep emphasizing on the *fool-proof* word. Merely reading your posts, i can very well understand your thought pattern, you will be so easy to scam; coz u will let Paranoia and ego get in the way of objective reasoning. To scam ppl like u requires one medicine: To make u bliv u are in control |

shollywendy1: You are very much on point. House rental and car rental are incomparable in anyway, because house is a fixed asset while the other one is not. Upfront payment is off the point. If there is any need to keep the owner secured at all as a result of bad drivers, Collecting upfront payment with same amount with the weekly rental fee is off the point to me. Instead should be like security fee or commitment fee but ll be less than weekly rental. There are good partners, and there are greedy ones. The same thing to drivers too. Only the partners with God fearing mind returns the money paid in advsnce back to drivers at the end of the deal. Let's be sincere. The same thing applies to house rental too. Bcus I remember when I was in egypt years back where "tahamin" (security deposit) has to be paid before handling over the key to u. The agreement is that it ll be refunded when leaving the house. For where. Na story of damaging plumbing stuffs and so go end am. . I never said partners should not collect fee before handling over the car key oo but should be lesser than the weekly fee. That's just my own point. I might be wrong, but just my opinion who told u a car leased for e-hailing is not a fixed asset. Nothing wey person no go see for NL.. |

This driver told me he parks inside a compound and I didn't have time to go and verify until my vehicle was vandalised just 9days after I gave him car.
Found out he was parking it on the street all along.
Insurance has paid sha but 2 weeks downtime already. this auto burglary is so peculiar to corolla.. i once chatted with a taxify driver who specifically told me he will never take up corolla for any reason, coz of its high vulnerability to bulglary. Nigerians so worship this car model tho. |
