BayoAA: Kindly advise on 3-5 stocks worth buying but not more than 5.00k per unit. ThanksThe unit share price of a stock is completely irrelevant when making investment decisions. What matters is the ratio of the share price of the stock to the long term value of the fraction of the company that each share represents. A 5 Naira stock could be too expensive while at the same time, a 500 Naira stock could be ridiculously cheap. |

It is better to bail out until you are sure of what the market is saying about unity. for now it may seem rouse for unity Bank due to manipulation, but if a manipulation is not justified market will correct it as a matter of time. Be sure of where you put your money. Also be careful you may have your fund tie down for some time. |

feelamong: What is funny! Firstly, you might have been confused as there was mistake typing (no) instead (now). As i informed investors the minds of investors yesterday. I would like to say that, there is nothing like scam in the market. Tricks are part of business as no company has ever gone to investors houses to take their money. Why do you have to mop up nascon.the company has a lot of competitors in the salt industry and not the leader anyway.interest on salt consumption get thinner everyday and people want to avoid evolutionary diseases. Dangote is not even taking national salt seriously as dangote flour, sugar and cement. Although nascon has not dip over the years but was around #9 since 2009 till date. Truly, there is consistence in dividend pay out but is always 50 kobo which is a little above five percent. There are many stock that would do much better. Nascon is not the stock to invest heavily on. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stockbull(m): 9:58pm On Mar 13, 2013 |
only those that can easily GET IN AND OUT OF THE MARKET SHOULD INVEST ON LOW CAP STOCKS NOW. This is caution. Profit taking on oando as investors were suprised; The stock may dip to #17 before continuing uptrend. diamond seems moderate and will hit #9 with patience. uba will hit #10 next week |

gosj: Guys please what are the prospects ƒσя Access stocks? Can i buy ƒσя a medium term like 3 months? God bless you all!Predictions for the banking sector, now, is very positive, especially as their 2012 year-end results are expected. However, even among the banks, there are banks that appear to be better bargains than others at current prices, unless of course, you are privileged to have some "insider" information. |

stockbull: Ogas no need to quarrel, over a little matter. There are many ways to kill a rat. Important thing is that, rat is killed. Feelamong is a conservative investor,NASCON is good and will break out of consolidation just like any other stock. It makes you not to be over curious. Stockbull, is more agressive I love your picks and various commentaries. It actually help. You may not go wrong. From my observation both of you have been around for sometime in this business. We can only choose based on our temperament ( conservative or aggressive). Both work |

@Born to B Rich, I attached an image of the above result - October 31, 2012 Year-end results of Vanleer(Greif Nigeria PLC). it may make better organisation. In my own opinion, despite the dividend(which is even just about 2.3% dividend yield), declining turnover and PAT are not things to write home about. Source - www.proshare.com

This shows the market is coming out to be strong. I wonder if any company could succeed raising fund in the last two years. |

stockbull: nigeria stock exchange. U r very right. Trends- share price usually fall thursday and friday , they are usually high monday, tues and/or wednesday. I've noticed this trend so I advise dt if u have a stock in mind, u can monitor and buy on thursday and friday (when there is a likely dip in price) and if u intend to sell, monday, tues and or wed may have the best price. There are exceptions ooo. But just have this in mind while u monitor ur stocks. |

nereiskc: Greetings my friends, it has been a while now. For me Oando is a stock to watch, I see it hit N25 b4 month end. For those of us that took my advice earlier when it was N13 and then their right issue were on, just monitor it, on the 1st lost, better off load cos that's my plan. But if u r in love wit d stock, still hang on.......finally, 4 those arguing that oando is dead stock, I knw experience hv though u lesson. TIP: once a company is on IPO and OPO or right issue, evalute d company if is under valued at primary market (NSE), just take position cos after the offer, there will b upwards movt of price B4 d newly offered units r absorb sequentially leading to price adjustment... This oando stock is voodoo investment. Any company that goes to the market to raise twice as much as its current working capital/assets will gamble the money. The capital raised has not been tested, then how do you price or value freshly raised capital. This is just as if the company is starting business afresh. I wonder what are the people buying in oando shares. This was what led to the failure of our Banks: raised money from shareholders, gambled with the money because they didn't know what to do with and falsely assured by our central governor that all was well with our banks. If you have to buy the stock it should be for very very short time. For me I am out, I have learnt my lesson. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stockbull(m): 6:13am On Mar 15, 2013 |
is it a government financed company? A corporate company gambling! Oando is expanding her coast in business and intend to venture in other businesses since oil is now discovered in many african countries and in many parts of america and also to strengthen their current business so as to be vibrant. 1 Like |
