OJURONGBE1: We no even know what to believe anymore. Within the space of 1year, you were struggling to pay 350k rent, moved from driving for a partner on rental to own a car . At a point, you left Lagos and said you weren't coming back because of the stress and low earnings on e hailing. But now, you're back, not only that, you are a partner collecting 25k weekly with another 6million naira fish farm investments. everybody rich for Instagram |

radautoworks: I don't know but that's not the only payment madam I understand you perfectly but due to what's going in the world right now, trust is an issue nowadays. If vision2024 asked for arms for his baby and someone checked his acct. And discovered he funded a bet acct the same time and blows a whistle, he did nothing wrong as well. If I was vision2024, I would just post evidence of payment and blur some parts. That's all |

Vision2045: Appreciation post
Guys kindly help say a word of prayer to my Madam....
She is a very private person, she is on Nairaland and I believe she might be following this group because she picked my number from here when I was looking for HP
My baby boy (11month old) was very ill, started since Friday but got worse over night...we took him to the hospital and after some test and diagnosis..I was asked to make a payment of 150k..... I was down and swept every where and was able to raise 50k plus..after several calls to some friends and close family that I can approach...the outcome was still negative...so summoned my mind to call my partner for a loan of 100k to be paid in installment with my weekly remittance. Lo and behold my people my madam and hubby rather gifted me 50k...
Words can't express how grateful I felt....
I quickly deposited 100k to balance up before my boy is discharged ....
Hitting the road to keep the hustle going
Mrs B God will surprise you and your family with blessings and favour now and forever. thanks Mrs B, we love you. God bless all that concerns you, you will never lack. |

DEGREE2466: Don't feel like a God. People do this a lot. Even on Fiverr, people make such requests and it gets granted.
People make much more daring requests like having their company name registered in the United States.
If I had known this is the way you would react, I wouldn't bother. I didn't go straight to sending you a private message so it doesn't seem like I have an ulterior motive.
Just to receive a phone from e-commerce website and ship to Nigeria is rude?
Please swerve.
For the respondent asking why I didn't consider using DHL, some of these businesses don't ship to Nigeria. Ask anybody that buy from eBay and Amazon, they have people that receive their items and ship them to Nigeria. Even the ShopToMyDoor that someone recommended, they have their agents in the States.
The mistake I made was getting in touch with the wrong person and quoting her on the wrong thread (my intention was never to post on Uber thread, it happened that this thread is where she comments most so I just quoted her last comment when I searched).
Let's die this. I never wanted to respond any further but someone is already feeling like a demi-god guy u almost make sense. I'm disappointed in you. You are feeling entitled to a total stranger? U f**k up bro |

DIGIMARKETER: This is not a sales Pitch. So i am not convincing anyone to leave whatever APP there are using . I did mention it's for states and towns that do not already have uber and to be honest i can give uber strong competition like there are losing to me already when it comes to grocery delivery. See why foreigners go to Nigeria and make all the money because most Nigerians don't believe in their own. Do you know uber and taxify are not the first taxi apps in nigeria? A Nigerian had a taxi APP before uber existed anywhere in the world and no one got on it so he packed it up and not bother with anything Nigeria.
These guys are reaping you off but you don't know it. Uber charges 25% commission and then taxify came after Uber and it's 20%, with competition commission can drop to 5%.
I am not begging anyone to get on it but i want someone to start it while i am still stuck here until airports open. Remember the name of the site and be on a look out I can be your uche bro. Let's move ibadan |

donfortune48: I set out from my house (off brown road surulere) around 5:30am aiming to clinch bolt's morning bonus. 1st 3trips that came in are over 10mins pick up time, while their destinations are showing as surulere. I rejected.
4th trip was going to Fadeyi, with 13mins pick up time. I decided to go cos I've rejected many. Called rider to tell him how long it'll take me to get to him, he said he can't wait and cancelled.
5th trip came with no destination, called rider and he was going to diamond estate isheri. Egbeda was my base before I relocated to surulere Feb, and I know how difficult it is to get ride to better places from their, coupled with the traffic, coming out of Egbeda in the morning. I decided to go offline. Told rider that I can only go for 3k. He agreed and we proceed.
Dropped him off in less than 40mins, turned on my app. 1st two trips that came in were going to abule-egba and somewhere after abule-egba respectively. I humbly declinned.
I went and packed close to good luck Jonathan estate.
8th trip came in, showing Ajeromi ifelodun as destination. I cancelled before it could ring half, but it came back again, I accepted. Called rider, he was going to satellite town. ...told him I can't go beyond alakija; he cancelled. The trip came back again, he cancelled. I turned off my app for 2mins, turn it on and it came back again, I cancelled. It came back again, he cancelled. It came back again, he cancelled. Turned off my app and started driving towards Gowon estate, half way towards Egbeda bus stop, I turned on my app again, same trip came in, he cancelled it came again like 3 times; he cancelled. Before another one came in from Jemade estate to Lagos island.
Dropped off rider and took another trip to Ikoyi, then went home from there. That's how my morning was spoilt oh!
I'm in my room now cooling my mind, body and spirit wirh Vodka.
..."ll continue by 3pm. Why accept a trip you know the rider would cancel. Why not allow it to ring out? |

jaymejate: I hate to disturb but please do you know if bolt office is open? Or any other method to register as a driver. Was told I need to go to the office.
I'm coming from Abeokuta bros just download the bolt app, inspect your car, start entering everything from your name, driver's licence, roadworthiness, etc. And boom! You'll be activated in less than 48hrs. I said it here sometime ago and some were doubting me. I later did it for a friend and he's making his doe. Good luck bro |

Felicity0001: You dare not allow rider to update trip what so ever, I've experience this more than twice on uber, the moment you update trip especially if the request came in with a surge and it's later updates believe you me such trip will be calculated base on the present update.
My last experience waz about 3weeks ago. I was in Surulere one evening when I got this 3rd party card trip to Unilag area, on our way the girl said she would be going to isolo afterwards. I complained that I needed cash instead and then we agreed to offline.
On getting to Yaba, different request was just balling in and even with surge as high as 3.0. Before her friend joined us in the ride we tried to settled price for the offline trip by checking the estimate which was around N3500-5000. Babe refused to pay 5k, in my thinking make I just run am like that with the card believing the sum up would get to 6k at the end of trip.
I updated the trip from my end and the girl asked her bf to also upsate from his end as well unknowing to me, which ever way I believed the surge in the area as at then would up.
Trip lasted about 2hrs to get to her destination, lo and behold trip ended N3,400 or thereabout.
My brother I almost cry.
Best thing is just leave the app to be running like that with the first request while you input the address on Gmap.
I've also experience a surge trip cancelled out to update of address on the app. I mailles uber but no proof to backup my claim. I just rest. on uber, I don't bother updating. It reads every km you cover automatically |
