ReachRich: Hi guys. I registered my car on uber & have been driving it myself but now I want to give it to another driver to be remitting for me on weekly rentals. How do I change the driver details on the uber app to that of the new driver? give the inspection report of your car to the driver so he can add your car to his account or better still, download uber fleet app, and add your driver to your fleet. That way, you'll be seeing the driver's activities including his locations |

2. Avoid mile 2(I don't even go there no matter what), festac, Ago, surulere (aguda & so on), traffic & water in these areas are like 5 & 6.
3. Avoid ketu, mile 12 on ikorodu road.
4. Be wary of ogba. Latter rain axis
5. Be wary of agege, abule egba interiors(its either traffic or flood due to bad roads 5&6) kuku avoid Lagos na |

I decided to refuel at Mobil(Maryland ) and go home since I just wanted to see how the work is now and also warm my engine. Entered filling station attendant came and I said bring your pos, gave him my card and said take 2k, he asked the normal saving or current? I answered, he gave me I entered my pin and "ok" he gave me the slip and started fuelling the car. I normally discard the slip but today I just reluctantly look at it and saw that dude took 20k instead of 2k Na so I come down, showed the guy and he was like, aye Mi o. I said guy why? He said sorry sir o na mistake. I said can I have my 18k please? He said Oga abeg park well make I arrange am. After about 4minutes wait , he came to where I parked and handed me 18k cash Be more observant guys!

So I finally decided to test the waters today. Since march I've not driven due to low patronage as y'all report here. So after I saw someone here saying he netted 12k or so, I decided to see how it goes. First of all, woke up this morning, downloaded driver app, logged in and boom! I'm online . I started noticing that my app goes offline after 5mins I updated it here and someone suggested I change my phone I said its like I'll delete and go back to sleep as its even raining. I said let me try one more time and boom. Gbam gbam gbam I accepted, crancked my sexy chevy, off to pu (missed my riders) she entered and zoom dropped off (card trip) 800 I decided to go to an eatery for breakfast since I don't know when another request would hit me. I was still thinking about it when another request came...lol got to pu, rider gave me package to deliver. Destination, itire zoom.. I dropped off. As d guy was picking up his package, another request! I said shooo! Picked rider, Maryland. Zoom! Maryland. I said wow. Work was good today. Until......... |

Babadee1900: The last time I bought 3k fuel from their station around LBS, I couldn’t gross 7k, I was traumatized : Even my fuel gauge can attest to it.
With 2k fuel from Northwest or Mobil station, I gross an average of 9k. Yesterday with 2500 fuel from Northwest, I grossed #12300.
I agree that the attendants are crooks. One lady at the Ilaje branch of northwest tried to scam me of 1k some weeks back. you grossed 12k yesterday? I'm definitely resuming this weekend. Have not driven since march |

Bigleaf1006: Some nozzles are bad and some pumps are equally bad, pumps that read too fast obviously have a problem and also pumps that read too slow.
The worst filling station is that conoil at the local airport exit on ikeja along.
You tell them 2k they will dispense 500 and stop or 1500, they say "sorry sir I thought you said, ok let me complete it"
Omo you have been cheated, the initial 500 or the last 500 can never be complete.
They did it to me on two occasions, and I immediately knew something was fishy. funny enough, I buy fuel @ that conoil even when I don't really need to refuel. Why? Because their pump is graet (I think o) my gauge goes way up anytime I refuel there. My favourite fuel station remains Bovas after FRSC office @ ojodu. Try them, thank me later |

radautoworks: Is this confirmed?
"Lagos State Govt bans motorist from parking illegally on major roads, the governor demanded an improvement in the free-flow of traffic statewide, with full enforcement of the Lagos State Traffic Laws and arrest of all traffic offenders without preference for civil servants, party members, security agencies, friends and family and so on.
The Lagos State Traffic Laws, passed by the State House of Assembly, was designed to protect law abiding road users, while violators face the consequences of their actions. The sanctions range from N5,000 fine to N50,000, jail terms and forfeiture of vehicles.
But the new regime has introduced a severe penalty of N200,000 for one-way offence, such as is not known to the subsisting traffic laws. Also, all the violations that erstwhile had no monetary penalties now attract fines of between N20,000 to N90,000.
For instance, offences like failure to use seat belt, unclosed doors or standing on the doorway while in motion, all attract N20,000 each. Parking on the highway, obstruction of traffic, picking or dropping passengers on illegal bus-stop attract N50,000 fine.
Also, making a reverse on the highway, driving on kerbs and parking on walkways now attract N50,000 penalty. Driving on BRT designated lanes is N70,000, while dropping passengers on laybys is slammed at N90,000 fine. And for every night a seized vehicle spends in the custody of LASTMA, a N1,000 fine is paid.
The Guardian learnt that the severe penalty regime was the initiative of the LASTMA hierarchy, “to ensure that apprehended violators do not easily get out of the offence, unlike before. The law says we should impound a vehicle that drives against traffic, which is the most common traffic offence these days.
“But giving them a fine of N50,000 is like a slap on the wrist. But with N200,000 fine or risk of impounding and being shown on camera during mobile court trial, they will think twice. The essence is deterrence,” a top official said yesterday.
The Guardian observed that the option before a one-way offender, among others, is to appear in court or appeal for out-of-court settlement and submission to fine.
The “lesser evil” of fine requires the one-way violator to sign an undertaken, pleading guilty to other lesser traffic offences, but not one-way. The violator would later realise that the penalty for the lesser offences all summed to about N200,000.
The mobile court option is not any better. It goes with a court bond of between N100,000 to N150,000 initial fine payable by a violator who is still on trial. With the bond paid, the offender’s vehicle is released but must keep appearing in court till the case is closed.
-Eko Traffic." This is scary |
