Christianity Etc › Re: Nairaland "Atheists". This Message Is For You. by 1Sharon(f): 7:19pm On Dec 06, 2021 |
Rosement: Great Britain did not colonise up to 20% of the entire countries in the world, yet Christianity is the religion with the highest population of followers in the world. Because the people that are keeping christianity alive have a high population than the people that gave them the belief. Ask yourself why Britian has moved on from Christianity, while Nigerians in Africa think they can be more Christian than the people who gave them the religion. |

Stand your ground sir, there’s no gain in cowardice Did I tell you I was running anywhere ? It is senseless to claim a major tribe originated from a smaller one. And provide evidence for that claim. |

Cousin9999: 1. A crōssdresser shouldn't comment on anything.
2. Nigeria produces a lot of music, and almost all of it has no political slant, so anyone who would actually make these claims sounds uneducated.
3. Don't give that creature views or clicks. If you fornicate, you're no different to him |

GeneralDae: It's surprising to me because one thing the world is beginning to admire Nigeria for right now is Afrobeats and here we have Nairalanders castigating it, some only in a bid to sound sophisticated or foreign. Do those foreigners understand the lyrics to know how ridiculous some words are? Afrobeats is a genre of music westerners haven't been exposed to before and that is why they are all over it. |

kettykings: What i am trying to tell you is that there is nothing about Lagos . Lagos became prominent because of decree 6 which ordered all oil companies to move their headquarters to Lagos after the civil war, this is the biggest scam and robbery of the 20th century. Lagos is a glorified product of scam and lopsided federal structure . Nothing else Lagos has always been Prominent! Since the beginning. Lagos has always been a trading zoen because it sits on the coast. |

Cousin9999: Nah. I think it's a combination of things, but perhaps mainly it comes from insecurity and a person not getting the emotional support they need. People who do it "because they can" seem to suffer from mental illness (e.g. sociopath) or rētārdation. It's really only people with strong mental and emotional problems who get satisfaction out of tormenting someone. The self esteem of people who bully is fine trust me. It's human nature. It's not right, but it happens and will always happen as long as people who seem defenseless exist. For instance, look at how Nigeria was colonized by the British. If Nigerians were an advanced nation we would have not subdued and invaded by the British but it happened because Nigeria was weaker and weren't as advanced and the British saw the advantage. Have you heard about natural selection? Nature also isn't forgiving to people who have some vulnerability. |

Ulunne777: My son has a name,a middle name and a surname and none could suffice? He even told me she brought him out before the class to teach with his head as an example. How do you think a 5 yr old new pupil would feel.?Private school at that.
I first reported to the office and found out 2 parents had also had their children complain of the teacher changing their names to a mocking one .I'm not a fool .I know when its teasing and when one has gone overboard.
Whether of was a joke or tease,it was nipped in the bud and afterwards both are good .My son even topped the class and won a gift from her. He's now in an upper class.
A teacher Don't mind them. Nigerians have internalised abuse, so it seems normal. Even it's teasing, it's still inappropriate. A teacher is supposed to maintain a professional relationship with a student and not a friendship. |
